Rayne returns to the music hall again. It was one of the few places that was usually empty around here. Rayne opens the door and stepping inside pulls off her sunglasses with a sigh, then pauses she sees a person already there. Rayne scowls slightly, then ignores the other person and putting her sunglasses back on walks over to the guitar she had used earlier. Rayne picks it up and settles onto a stool, then slips out her pick and starts playing a tune of the jazz variety, though it wasn't really any specific song. Rayne leans forward, bowing her head over the guitar as her fingers dance across the strings.

Rayne doesn't glance at the other girl as she starts playing a more complex piece, one that was a bit faster and had a wider range of notes. When she comes to the end of the song Rayne slows down and stops with a sigh, then slips the pick off and cracks her knuckles a few times as she gazes out a window. "You come here often?" She asks the other girl after a moment.

Rayne nods as she tunes the guitar a bit. Neither of her races were very famous for their social capabilities. Some vampires might have been charismatic, but she wasn't one of them. "Same, on both counts." She replies after a moment of singular guitar notes ringing throughout the music hall. Rayne goes back to playing after she'd tuned it up enough for her satisfaction. She was playing quietly enough though to be talked over, mostly because she was creating something from scratch.

Rayne plays some more jazz, then eventually switches over to some rock, ACDC's Back In Black in fact. "So what powers do you have?" Rayne asks after finishing that song. Being antisocial all the time she figured wouldn't get her anywhere.

Rayne shrugs, tripping over a note. Scowling she glances down and corrects herself, then continues playing. "Fire and plant manipulation... problem is, more often then not I end up losing control and burning my own hands. I'm pretty ok with plants, though." She says, messing with a chord that sounded off.

"Well I don't often mix them... that would be very bad, true. Still, they are very powerful talents." She says, trying a few higher notes then nodding in satisfaction and trying out the rock song. It sounded horribly close to a wanna be One Winged Angel. "So, what's your name anyways? I'm Rayne, with a stress on the Y. Seems there's a lot of Rains running around." She says rolling her eyes.

Rayne nods and tries the next part, something that seemed to be mixing jazz and rock in an odd, but not bad, way. "Nice to meet you Nasnan... but honestly, I changed it from Christina just to avoid confusion... at my old school there were about 16 variations of Chris in just our grade. Now I know about 3 different variations of Rain." To anybody else, it might have been stupid, complaining over names, but she had always liked being different. Being cliche and common was not really her style.

Rayne tilts her head to the side as she leans over to see the strings better, finally taking off her sunglasses and sticking them in a pocket. For a moment her dark blue eyes looked distant, then she shrugged it off. "Eh, around. I had my foster bro teach me the basics, then I went from there."
