Too late, Too late, you can't try to resolve the past right now.
But I swear I'll be the one… Thorne heard a giggle from Mitsukai right before she tripped from her lapse in concentration. Thorne chuckled. It seemed that clumsiness was contagious, “I would say that was a three-point landing, Mitsukai.” Thorne said teasingly.
Turning back to the screen, the previews had started rolling and right then one for a romantic comedy of some sort was playing. Thorne frowned; that wasn’t exactly his cup of tea. If that was what they were watching, he wasn’t sure if he would be able to sit through it. Romantic comedies were the epitome of boredom for him. Their stereotypical scenarios, pairings, and cliché endings were enough to destroy him then and there. Every time he watched one, he could feel his brain cells dying one-by-one. He hoped it was a horror flick. That was certainly better than the other genre. He could deal with horror; he dealt with it every day so those movies rarely affected him, while others around him cringed.
He was startled out of his silent musing by Mitsukai, “What? Oh…uh…Angel?” Thorne stuttered trying to grasp what she had been saying. “Umm…I don’t know. It’s ultimately your decision, but I wouldn’t change it for anyone else if that’s what you’re doing. I would only change it unless it’s something you want to do because you like the name. Besides, I like your name the way it is. It’s unique,” he said smiling at her.
Joseph came over and handed Mitsukai her candy; she offered him some. Taking one, he regarded it for a moment before throwing it in the air and catching it in his mouth. “That took skill,” he said to her swallowing the now devoured gummy.
“So what kind of movie are we watching?” Thorne asked, while waiting for the previews to end. To let the world know what you've done.

Nikky looked around, watching her friends sit in their designated seats, and smiling. When the slideshow Mitsukai had put together went off, and the trailers started running, her eyes became glued to the screen. She noticed that Joseph handed Mitsukai some candy, and smiled. He did just about anything for her.
The credits finally finished, now it was time for the opening titles.With most horror movies, the beginning wasn't scary at all, but it wasnt too long before the creepiness started..
Daina blushed slightly when Thorne told her that her present was better. "Um, thanks." She said with a small smile. However, when he stumbled climbing over the chair, she gave a small laugh. "Hello once again." She said in return greeting. Once the previews started, Daina watched them, some were interesting, some were corny. There was one for a kids movie with talking animals, sheesh, the people couldnt come up with original ideas.
When Daina heard Thorne ask what kind of movie it was, she answered absently. "Its a horror movie. But you know how most of them are, with the fake blood, and unrealistic botchings." She said with a shrug.
Cadence forced her troubles from her mind and smiled up at Mika. "Yeah, I'm not one for being noticed." She said truthfully. She watched the trailers with feigned interest, in all reality, she just wanted to see the movie. Horror movies never scared her, just grossed her out. She couldn't see how Daina and Thorne dealt with it as their power. Cadence shrugged the thought from her mind and focused on the opening credits. .

    Oh and hunny; i love you♥ Mitsukai ( Angel? ) Kanji Mitsukai blushed when he made a comment about her landing. "Yea, lucky you yours wasnt noticble! I fell on the floor." Mitsukai said and took a bite of a gummy bear, heaven. She was excited about the movie, she watched the preview. Plus horror movies made Mitsukai terrified, her herself prefered romantic comedies. She was going to use Thorne as a shield! If he liked it or not?
Mitsukai thought about the Angel nickname. "Mitsukai isnt unique." Mitsukai corrected him. "Okay in America it's unique. In Japan it isnt. And i'm Jappaness." Mitsukai beamed. "Ever seen Naruto? I think it was in the first episode, there was a character named Mitzukai. It was a dude." After that quick thing she taught him, she needed to tell her the idea of her name. "Most Asians have an American name for Americans who cant pronouce it. I like Angel, it's simple. Though i like Mitsukai more."
Mitsukai smiled at Thorne when he popped the gummy in his mouth. "Thats pretty pimp." She complemented. Ohhh, the movie was starting. "I get scared during horror movies. Sooo, if i grab you or hide my face in your arm etc. Dont freak out. And NOO gorry hand actions to freak me out, i can tell you'd soo do that!" Mitsukai smiled, reusuring it was okay. She then watched the movie. Nikky would like seeing Justin Long, who wasnt attractive, but Nikky thought he was. Mitsukai liked the office senario, perfectly normal. The begging, a bit extreme. And when the lady threw something in the femal actress car, Mitsukai jumped. Joseph Douglas Jones Joesph sat down, not talking. He wasnt a talker befor/during movies. Plus horror didnt intrest him since he didnt get scared. Joesph tried to focus on the movie and discover the plot, seemed basic.

 Mika couldn't help but find the horror flick funny. Seriously a cursed button? How can you not laugh at that? It also probably didn't help the movie was reminding Mika of her prank. Now that she thought about it, one of those first year girls that she scared kind of reacted like Alison Lohman did when something spooky happened. Personally Mika preferred Asian horror films. Now those were scary. Looking over her at friends' reactions, Mika could see Mitsukai was already getting a little antsy. 'Well horror films aren't exactly her forte,' Mika couldn't help but think. It was pretty clear to everyone that knew Nikky, knew Mitsukai picked this movie because of Justin Long, Nikky's fav actor.

[Sorry; Weddings and thunderstorms have kept me offline lately.]
L beamed happily when her name was called and she ran over to Mika, plopping down beside her in the cushiony chair. L was a little nervous about this movie. She personally couldn't watch scary movies. nt because they were scary though. Maybe it Was a side effect to her power, but she'd keep seeing the images around her house. Just imagine what had happened when she saw the movies 'Shutter'.
She shuddered in her seat, blocking the memories from coming back. This movie didn't seem scary at all, it seemed more ridiculous. I mean 'drag me to hell'? Didnt' seem scary at all. She focused her eyes on the screen as the movie began.
Adam heard his name called and looked up to see he was supposed to sit besides Daina. He smiled. He liked Daina so He didn't mind sitting beside her. He felt bad that Mick wasn't Called, although she wasn't friends with Nikky so it only made sense. He grabbed her hand and dragged her up the steps with him. "Sit by me?" She rolled her eyes and he laughed.
When he reached his seat he dropped Mick's hand and sat down, glancing over at Daina with a grin. "Hey." His attention was drawn to the screen as the movie started. He loved horror movies, they were the funnest things to watch. Well the real ones of course. The ones with the bad editing and fake blood and s**t sucked.
He glanced around the dark Theatre and noticed Cadence over by L, a sad look on her face. He frowned and wondered what was troubling the poor girl.
Mick's eyes were trained On the slideshow as it started, fscinated that Mitsukai had put so much work into her friends party. The girl seemed to love all her friends dearly. It made Mick feel bad for coming sicne she really only knew Mitsukai, L and Adam. She hand't even noticed anyone had spoken when suddenly Adam grabbed her.
Her eyes widened as she snapped back to reality, but then she realied it was Adam and sighed. When he Started to drag her and requested that she sit by him Mick rolled her eyes and sighed heavily. "Your a big baby you know that?" She sat down no the other side of adam where the seats weren't reserved, immediately immersing herself in the previews.
For some reason she loved those. Especially the dramatic voices. Like that one movie announcer guy, Don something. His voice was awesome. As the movie began she sat up straight in her seat. Movies were usually stupid to her, but maybe this one woudl be good.

Devon finished his Mike&Ikes and half his hotdog when he started hearing previews rolling from the only theater in use — Nikki's. He supposed he should go in now. Sighing, he stood, arms filled with his treats, and headed to the theater. Which was dark. And they were all piled in the front rows, talking and being amiable. It sort of made him want to kill himself. Mere mortals with their... relations. The only person Devon had found worth being associated with was Milo, but he seemed sort of spacy and not-really-there. Devon stopped at the back row and plopped down in a seat. While he didn't really like the event, he felt safe in the theater. He was surrounded by technology, hearing the buzz of the motors and circuits mellowing him out like a cigarette. God, these previews were terrible. The only interesting one was for the new Harry Potter movie. Smirking, Devon abandoned his prizes and left the theater again. Yes, this stairway here, up the stairs, down the hall, in the room... yes! Projector room! He could see the screen from a much wider angle, aaanddd... shadow puppets! He stuck his fingers in the way of the projector's beam and flashed all different kinds of shadow puppets. He probably wasn't making friends, but at least this was more fun. His chuckles rang out across the theater like an ominous din.
Once the actual movie started, Devon ceased his shenanigans and sat on the projector window ledge, watching the movie with relative distaste. Yep. Still an unattractive leading man. Still, he watched, not even a single flinch. Partway through his butt started hurting, so he eventually made his way back down the ole passage and into his seat, and proceeded to munch on his treats again. He sort of wished he hadn't come now. He didn't even know half these people. 'I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve,' he thought cryptically. As far as he was concerned, this was just another bad 'horror' flick. He sighed, though, and devoured the rest of his hotdog. Maybe something funny would happen, like a talking goat or something.

But I swear I'll be the one… Chuckles echoed around the theater, as someone did shadow puppets through the previews. Shaking his head and rolling his eyes, Thorne shrugged. He’d let the person have their fun. It was more entertaining than the ads they were showing at least.
The lights began to dim, and the puppet show stopped. Mitsukai took the moment to quickly explain to him her fear of horror, and Thorne couldn’t help but grin evilly. This was just too great of a chance to pass up. When Mitsukai started getting nervous, Thorne couldn’t help but whisper the Jaw’s theme in her ear and explode a finger syncing the procedure with an intense scene in the movie. He healed his finger up quickly, though, so she only got a glimpse. He wanted to freak her out, not make her mad at him.
Thorne couldn’t help but laugh quietly throughout the movie. The whole concept of horror movies to him was ironic. It’s not like there wasn’t enough terror in the world on its own. No, Hollywood had to dramatize it so that it was entertaining to watch a stalker hack every character to bits or for a random cursed object to go flying around and kill everyone. The whole shitty thing was ironic, and really it made Thorne want to laugh at those poor fools who didn’t know anything in their big glass houses. He could always tell the effects were fake seeing as he couldn’t help but blow himself up on a daily basis. So, he knew how the blood should look when you received a certain wound and where it should splatter. The effects were so pathetic compared to real life that he couldn’t help but find it hilarious. To let the world know what you've done.

The movie was quickly turning into a comedy. Maybe it was because she grew up watching good horror films with her mom and sister. At the thought of her sister, Mika couldn't help but frown a little. Ever since she started coming to Genius Academy, Kisa and her started to kind of drift apart. From what Mika heard from her mom, Kisa sometimes stayed out all night and almost never came home. She'd have to have a talk with her little sister after Nikky's party. But for now she was going to enjoy herself. Looking to her right Mika noticed a sad expression on Cadence's face. "Cadence, you alright?" Mika whispered, she didn't want to talk loudly due to the movie already playing.(( I caught it ^-^))

Oh and hunny; i love you♥ Mitsukai ( Angel? ) Kanji During the previews when the finger puppets showed, Mitsukai had to giggle. "Archimdes is here." Mitsukai mumbled, knowing only him would do that. She wanted to text him, but that didnt seem much likly. Anywho Arachimdes hadnt really enjoyed her presence, it was obvious. Though Mitsukai was quite obbsessed with becoming great friends with him, but that wouldnt happen now would it? Oh and Minron, was he here? That was something she'd have to find out.
When Thorne sung the jaws theme, Mitsukai glared at him. "Wrong movie." She mumbled. But when he slightly exploded his finger, she wanted to hurt him. She touched his arm, advoiding his thoughts, powers, etc and thought 'you're such a jerk' that way she didnt have to talk, and only he would hear it in his brain. She let go instantly, not taking access thoughts that she hadnt previusly required. But soon all his mean things were forgotten when she started getting scared. She instantly hid her face in Thornes arm, yes to much touching. He probley would hate it aless he was fond of her. Poor Thorne. Yet, Pheebe could be okay when there was funny parts, she even managed to giggle softly at a few jokes. Then of course more scary parts, why wasnt everyone else getting scared? Joseph Douglas Jones Joesph laughed with the puppet thingy. Somone who knew tecnolgy would do that, and only somone like that. Soon the movie started, Joesph wasnt to intrested. Everything was basic. Well planned out. And predicatable. But he still liked the plot line, it'd be a better book. Joesph peared over at Mitsukai, of course she was freaking out. He couldnt help but to grin. He then looked at L and smiled. She seemed to like the movie, and wasnt scared by it.

L giggled when the shadow puppets appeared. Whoever had done that was her hero. When the movie started she watched it curiously, not really surprised that it wasn't scaring her. Itwas too predictible. But still it was good, so she'd give the movie some credit. She glanced over at Mitsukai and laughed quietly, having known she would freak out.
Her eyes wandered again and she noticed Joseph smiling at her. She locked eyes with him quickly before he could look away and implanted her voice in his mind. "Hey you, like what you see?" She then laughed at her weak attempt to flirt. "Don't worry I'm not reading your mind, I just wanna talk." She didn't want the kid to freak out.

You’re doing your best and...
Mitsukai’s thought resounded through his head almost as if he had produced the thought himself. Except for the fact, it was definitely not his voice unless he was a female named Mitsukai, that is. He was a little astonished that she could implant her thoughts, but came to the conclusion that nothing was impossible where Mitsukai was concerned. Considering her absorption of his powers earlier, he shouldn’t have been surprised at anything she threw his way. So laughing softly at her insult, he whispered in her ear unfazed by her anger, “Did I ever deny it?”
In some minutes though, it seemed she had forgotten all about her anger at him. She clutched his arm in a vice grip as if he was the only life vest on a sinking ship. Really, did she actually find this pathetically made movie scary? Rolling his eyes at her behavior, Thorne gave up trying to freak her out more. The movie was doing that job perfectly all on its own. “God Mitsukai, It’s only a movie,” Thorne murmured glancing down at her. Your best look,

Oh and hunny; i love you♥ Mitsukai ( Angel? ) Kanji Mitsukai was intrested in an unscary moment in a movie, when Thorne wispered in her ear. Ofcourse her reaction was her back went straight and a trail of goosebumps filled her arms. "Hun, not cool." She wispered. She didnt like when people wispered in her ear and stuff like that. Okay correction, she did. But she didnt like it when it was a tease.
Though the moment of goosebumps quickly faded when another scary part made her hide in his arm. Then he made the 'it's only a movie' JERK! It was a scary movie. Okay, scary to her, not to everyone else. Mitsukai looked up at Thorne, right in his eyes. "And i'm a scardy cat.!" Mitsukai said, though she wasnt scared when she looked at him. She knew he was safe, and looking at him made her feel safe. Good. She very well intended on keep looking at him, feeling safe. Untill a peircing scream made her look at the movie screan. That poor lady was so desprate. Mitsukai had to look away, hiding herself in Thornes arm. Since that scary old lady was being freaky scary again.
Ohh, then the movie ended! Seriusly, was it just Mitsukai or were angels singing? Oh well, the movie was over. She could dance and sing and celbrate. "I didnt like that movie." Mitsukai mumbled, ohh well she didnt like what she saw. Most of it she hid her face in Thornes arm. He obviously thought it was ridicusly funny. Ohh, gummy bears. Mitsukai popped one in her mouth, heaven. She forgot about her yummy goodness during the movie. "Soo, i'm glad thats over. Now time for icecream." Mitsukai beamed. Excited for her next yummy treat, maggie moos red velvet milkshake! Joseph Douglas Jones When L thought that he had to laugh, but managed to keep it quite. "Ofcourse baby.What isnt there to love?" Joesph thought. He desisded looking at her was far more intresting than the movie. Wasnt it supposed to be scary? So through the remander of the movie, he looked at L.
Though the movie ended in a quick amount of time. Thank goodness. There was no way he could sit through another boring minute of that movie. "That was the stupidest movie i've ever seen." He mumbled, and looked over at Mitsukai. He couldnt help but to laugh, seeing her recover. How she saw that movie scary he'd never understand. (( EDITED(: ]]

Nikky smiled at the puppet show. That was probably going to be her favorite part of the movie. As the movie played, she had to admit to herself that it was not what she expected. It was more comical than anything. Suddenly she remembered, it was one of those spoof movies. She still jumped a few times, but nothing serious. She ended up laughing half the time.
Nikky smiled, glad that she wasn't getting terribly scared. However, she was on the edge of her seat when Justin Long's character was getting chased down the street by the possessed button and all those it had killed. She straightened up once the lights came back on, and she smiled at those around her. "Thanks for coming guys!" she said before turning to Mitsukai, "And thank you for setting up this whole thing!"
Daina looked up when Adam spoke "Oh, Hi!" she said with a smile. She was right about the fake blood and terrible mutilations, but it was quite funny. The 'cursed' button came to life to haunt all those who pressed it. Talk about the wrath for pressing someones buttons. Daina laughed in spite of the thought.
The little button menace was doing the impossible, attaching itself to people and causing them to blow up and other nonsense stuff like that. Daina had to catch her breath a few times to prevent herself from laughing too hard, although if she did, she would be fine in moments due to her power. When the movie was over, she gave a sigh of relief, she would be able to get rid of the stitch in her side, finally!
Cadence managed to force out a laugh a few times at the button's rampages. She had to admit, the movie was funny, even though the fake gore still got to her. She cringed whenever the blood was shed, but that was usual for her.
Mika's whisper distracted her from her daze, though. "Oh, um...for now I am. It's Nikky's night, I'm not going to draw attention away from it." She said with a forced smile. She turned her attention back to the screen, laughing slightly every now and then. Cadence realized she wasn't doing to good at the whole 'going to have fun no matter what' goal she had set.
She hadn't even realized that the movie was over until the lights came back on. Cadence looked around and blinked to get used to the light, realizing it was more because of oncoming tears. She quickly wiped beneath her eyes and ended up making the tears retreat back from where they came.

O, it is excellent to have a giant's strength, but it is tyrannous to use it like a giant.
Jet walked into the school that evening. His first day and he was already late. How great. The school was very empty, compared to what he had heard it would be. One of the other first years told him a lot of the upperclassmen were at a party.
He crawled to his room and plopped into bed. He stared at the ceiling. He had absorbed a few powers already, but pushed out the ones he was aware of. He missed his parents familiar powers. Super strength and fire manipulation.
What if he couldn't control a power he obtained? He could hurt somone really bad here. What were his parents thinking? Sending him to a place literally crawling with powers? He would go crazy, he knew it. Jet just prayed no one would get hurt because of him.
The highest proof of virtue is to possess boundless power without abusing it.

Seeing the ending credit, Mika couldn't help but let out a yawn. The movie was ok, but she wasn't expecting that. As long as Nikky had fun, that's all that mattered. The party was a success, in Mika's opinion. The only thing she wasn't really looking forward to was when classes started tomorrow.
