"Portal, hon, I don't blink...that would be the freaky witch's thing." Mid said before she began painting a large portal into the middle of the room. The center of it burned away to reveal the inside of the Guardian's tower.
Mid stepped through, and glanced around before giving a nod to her head and allowing Shim to follow after. "If you think I'm getting left behind, you're wrong, Anc. I'm coming with," Midna said with a quick glance towards Ancwalar.

"Darlin', I couldn't tell yeh no ifin' I wanted to." He replied, s tepping through the portal.

"You could tell me no, it just wouldn't do you any good." Mid said, a cattish curl to her smile. "Shim, you're staying here."
Shim took a step forward, "I'm coming al..."
Mid cut him off, "No, you're not. You can argue with me over it but I'll win." She gave her younger cousin a pat on the head. Shim scowled at her the entire time, but she was in fact right, she would win the argument one way or another. The only one who regularly held up to Mid's arguments was her twin, but Pat never really fought fair.
The portal closed behind them, a few whisps of gold remaining in the air for a few seconds before dissipating into nothing. Mid headed for the door, "Let's go find Nuri."

Anc turned to Shim, kneeling and resting a hand on the boy's shoulder.
'"If yeh come with, that pretty much tips our hand da Temarin. She knows we found yeh, and that we're playin' a different game, now. This room's prolly the safest place in the palace, now. Stay here, keep da door closed. I got wards, seals 'n magic that the Twins helped with that I dunno whut da hell it does. Jus' keep yer head down. I'll keep in touch." With that, Anc tapped his temple with a small smile.
He rubbed his chin as he turned to Midna, raising an eyebrow.
"We needa fake an a** beatin'. Bad news, I'm gonna have da beat yeh up a bit. Good news is yeh git da beat me up alot."

Mid gave a nod, stretching her arms a bit before popping her knuckles on one hand. "You want to go first, or should I? Oh, and try not to break my nose. I want to keep it pretty."

Eulalia Danae Mid gave a nod, stretching her arms a bit before popping her knuckles on one hand. "You want to go first, or should I? Oh, and try not to break my nose. I want to keep it pretty." "Shut up," Midna grumbled. She then let out a sigh and unsheathed her sword, proceeding to do as he asked. She wasn't any afraid of blood, having seen enough people die and get chopped up, just for sake of her heritage. But despite knowing how to use a sword, she hadn't actually used it to chop anything off very often. She flinched a few times, but quickly got a hang of it, laying waste to Anc with growing ease.

By the time Midna was done, Anc was missing most of one arm, and missing several other bits of himself, along with several deep gouges in his chest and gut.
Anc eyed her handiwork, and nodded once in approval.
"Aight, let's git yeh ******** up." he replied, fumbling around in his clothing for a knife, swearing as he fumbled it repeatedly, "Yeh jus' 'ad da cut off me sword hand, didn't yeh?"
After a moment of fumbling and swearing, he finally got the knife where he wanted it, and proceded to make Midna pretty. Or not as pretty. However you want to look at it.

As Anc moved to slice her, Midna had to force herself not to dodge away from the blade, an instinctual reaction. She apologized a few times when she couldn't helped it, and the blow slipped past her by a tenth of an inch.
By the time they were finished, the floor was slick with silver and red, and they both looked fairly awful. "If this leaves scars, I'm going to slice off your arm again." Mid said, glancing at the gashes on her body. She let out a slight grunt and started walking, she could take more damage than an average human, and most of the cuts were deceptively shallow.
"So what will our story be, exactly?"

She apologized a few times when she couldn't helped it, and the blow slipped past her by a tenth of an inch. "So what will our story be, exactly?" Anc rolled his eyes. "Always with da drama. Scars are hot. Yeh can't git a date on Earth with scars, come here, 'n I'll be more 'n happy da entertain." He covered his bleeding stump of an arm, which was quickly healing itself, "OUr story'ss that we got hit, hard. I had you open a portal da anywhere. Just happened da be the throne room. We're gonna need da leave it, cussin', spittin' 'n with weapons out. Fall through, if yeh can. That'll be enoug, I think." He replied, raising an eyebrow.

"I'd like to stay pretty, thank you very much." She said with a sharp smile of teeth. She glanced at his healing arm with slightly hooded eyes and let out a small sigh. "We've got to do this fast. Get out your weapon." She took her own and put it in her teeth as she opened up the portal to the throne room, and gave Anc a push in.

Anc sheathed his weapon, opting to clamp a hand over the healing wound so as to mask it a little better, and stepped through the portal behind Midna.

Midna responded without any humility.
As they stepped through the portal the sight of them was taken in by Temarin, who let out a loud gasp at the blood and damage. Nuri however was nowhere to be seen.
