Nils listened to two of his friends, Sue and Blossom, speak of their own stories. A war in the future that his nephew was involved in, a wedding that unknowingly became Blossom's... it was all so amazing.
Nils blinked for a moment when FD spoke. His face softened and he gave him a nod. "Go for it, Hikaru." The bard whispered encouraging. He wasn't even sure if he knew FD's complete story, so he was eager to hear it.
---
Alihi smiled, laughing softly. "Yeah, but I don't mind... As long as Amara's happy."
They reached the stand and the person who was apparently running it started to tease Ephraim. She groaned. Did she really look like she was with Ephraim? "He's just a friend!" The tactician said, repeating what the noble said without the included stammer. Her mind did drift, if only for a moment, but a tug on her pants leg reminded her why she was here. "Oh, right..." She dug into her side pouch, pulling out two more gold coins and handing them over to the lady. She then bent over to pick up Amara once more. "My daughter would like to give this game a try!"
Amara, though, twisted towards Ephraim, holding out both Berry and Cherry. "Hold please?" She asked him sweetly while Alihi held the rings in her hand, waiting for Amara's hands to become free.

Wait a sec, if he knows aboutShento, yet does he know the true story? This time, turning back, he started to walk over towards Ganon. "One way to find out."

Huh. He sure didn't know that.
They had been in the Team of Teamwork Team for a while, but Lance wouldn't have guessed she had a past like that when she always acted happily like that. Of course, you're not that far off either...then again, you hardly remember your past.
"Ain't that good though then Blossy. Despite what happened, you're here as the person you are. That's pretty swell, don't you think?" Lance said while grinning. "Somehow, that rings a bell with my own story, but I don't really remember much of it, so I can't say for certain.

Ed was gobbling down her mutton. She really had been hungry. She tried not to make a mess of it, but it was just too satisfying to get her stomach filled! Ed couldn't quite remember when she'd awoke either, so she could have been hungry for a while.
"Ooh, ya. You gotta meet him, he's an old friend of mine." She swallowed another hunk of mutton and took a sip of perry. "Since he's a wandering bard, I'll bet he's got lots of stories. Sure knows how to lift anybody's spirits. And he's tall as heck, so that kinda goes literally too!" Ed wiped her mouth on her sleeve.

Blossom quietly departed from the stage. No one was really saying anything, and suddenly she wasn't that sure if she should have told all that. She smoothed one hand against her head, tugging her glove back on, and then Lance was speaking to her, and she turned her blue-grey eyes to him.
The uncertain expression on her face relaxed, and she smiled warmly to him. "Yeah... Yeah, I guess so. Thanks." She gave him a small hug, then stepped away and adjusted the gold ring around her wrist. "You don't remember much of your past? Did you block it out or something?" she asked him, trying not to overstep boundaries.

If anything, Ephraim would rather get the game over with before the vendor started teasing him once more. He barely knew Alihi and for all he knew he only thought of her as a friend. Although her outburst of the same thing he said couldn't help but make him smile. Amara turned to him and handed him the two stuffies she had so she could play and he gladly took them from her, holding it against him with his arms crossed.
He watched her toss the first one and it bounced off the rim of the backboard, the second one landed in the ring and he nodded in impression. She had good aim, gotta give her that...then again.....she had speed, aim and strength for someone so little..what more could you give her? ... Somehow Ephraim was a little afraid to find out what more Amara could do.

"Really? I didn't know you knew him well." Isadora reply as she wiped her mouth with a handkerchief. "How did you two met?"
Isadora raised her hand to get the bill. After a minute or two, the manager brought the bill (after Mary tried to take the bill from Merry). Looking at the cost, Isadora paid it along with the 20% tip.
"Let's hurry before the waitress gets us." Isadora whispered as she got out of her seat and moved across the room. Once they were out, she let Ed take the lead to Ganon. After all, with so many people in the festival, it would be hard for the paladin to find this Ganon person.

"Where is that guy? The one who was telling those stories..." Looking around, he could not tell which way it had came from, since all he did was hear it and glance back.

"Well, from what I can remember right now," Ed replied, screwing her face up slightly in concentration, "he was doin' his wandering business when he came by me. I wasn't in a very good mood and he wanted to fix that. So he played for me, and we got acquainted. He's a real good musician."
She was eating ravenously as she spoke, so her plate was cleaned quickly. Shortly after she had finished her brief flashback her food and drink were done. Ed shot up from her seat as Isadora laid the money down.
"I hear ya loud and clear," Ed whispered back with a cunning grin. She quickly slipped out of the restaurant with Isadora in tow, then picked her way through the crowds using the trained agility she had developed.
"Hey...heeeey! Ganon!"
Now not too far away from the musician, Ed jumped up and down, waving her arms in an attempt to catch the bard's attention.

FD smiled at Nils before making his way around the audience to the front. He wasn't sure how to begin his story, and worried that it might insult some present. But then he looked back at Nils and drew the strength to begin.
"Once, in this same world that Sue and Blossom have spoken of, millennia ago, dragons and men coexisted. It has been said they shared a peace that lasted many, many generations. But peace inevitably falls throughout history wherever it may be. And it was no different in Elibe when mankind disrupted this balance in a sudden onslaught on dragonkind. At mankind’s instigation, men and dragon fought in a savage war that ravaged the very foundations of Elibe remembered by both sides as The Scouring. It’s well known that the dragons lost in the war.
"I participated in it. Of course, I was one of the lucky ones. I made it through the Gate after our defeat was inevitable and our lives endangered by eight people now considered heroes. The journey through what is now called the Dragon’s Gate in Elibe was unforgiving. The world we arrived in was unknown to us, and many of us died before we were able to organize a civilization once more. Our world revolved around the portal from which we had come, so as to preserve our history. We built temples around it and guaded the Gate always. I lived with the honor of being one of the select few to guard it.
"From the other side of the Dragon’s Gate however, a man had managed to open the portal, pulling out six dragons from our separate world back to Elibe over time. Three are dead, the other three are all among us today. I am one of them. I was one of the last to be pulled through the gate along with two other guardians. As we went through the gate however, we lost our sanity on the other side and went into raging frenzies. My companions we’re killed to prevent us from destroying the other side of the portal. I was the sole survivor of the initial attack, only to be struck down by a band of people and sent through the Dragon’s Gate once more.
"But I didn’t return to the world I was familiar with. For whatever reason, I was pulled into this world with my sanity returned to me. Unfamiliar with anyone or thing in this world, and without my own people to unite to create our own world, I was lost. Additionally, I didn’t resemble a dragon – but bore the figure you see today. Unaware of any civilization in this world, I subsisted on my own for a time. Although it was hard to get by in a new form I was unfamiliar with, I eventually realized I was still indeed a dragon, and learned how to shift between my natural form and the one you see today. Soon after, I came into contact with the other two dragons that had crossed the Gate and discovered Eyris. Although I no longer have the company of my entire people or the land of my birth here, I’ve finally found a place where Dragon and man coexist, along with life forms I didn’t even know exist, in peace.”
Yes, FD thought, peace with others. He realized how blessed he was to be in this world.

Turning towards the yelling, Ziaram felt like he was on the right path. "That may be the way." He said to himself dashing towards the person yelling.

(( On a semi unrelated note, I calculated Amara's stat growths a while ago... xD ))
The third ring made it into the circle, while the fourth narrowly missed and the fifth made it inside. Amara's reward? A small, plastic crown. She squealed happily, reaching up to place the crown on her mother's head. "Mommy's a princess!" The girl exclaimed with a grin.
Alihi blinked, placing Amara back down on the ground. Her hand rested against the plastic, lingering there for a few moments before she let out a sigh, letting her hand dropped and bump against Zelos'-- no, her rapier. He probably would have laughed in agreement... She thought with a chuckle, watching Amara demand for Cherry and Berry back and then immediately run to the next game without even waiting for him to react.

(( I wish to see these stats XD ))
The next game wasn't exactly..a game at all...it was one of those, catch a fish in tank with a paper catcher. The water wasn't that deep at all and somehow the small goldfishes swam around..didn't seem like they were going anywhere at all. There were other kids trying as well but their pans kept breaking through. He watched a little girl with her mother try and catch one.
"M-Mommy" hearing the girl nearly cry as she couldn't catch a fish. Ephraim couldn't help but jump in, he paid the vendor 3 pieces of gold and took the catcher
"The trick is to pull them to the edge" addressing the girl who was about to cry, she looked at him curiously and watched his movement. Ephraim ran a goldfish near the edge and once it was close enough, held the bowl he was given and tossed the fish in with a single flicker of his wrist. "See?" smiling, he handed the bowl to the vendor who handed him a small bag with the fish he caught in which, Ephraim handed to the little girl who happily took it.
"Thank you" the mother bowed politely and followed her daughter to another game stand. Ephraim huffed, turning back to Amara. "Would you like to try?" curiously asking.
((I can't remember what this game is called but I remember playing it when I was about 12 or 15 xDDD, all the goldfishes I caught went into my tank and died 3 years later :<. It was fun though, FREE GOLD FISHES! XD They give you some kind of paper net like thingy to catch the fishes with.))

Ganon smiled, ceasing to play as FD finished his story. "This is absolutely wonderful," he said. "I love to hear new stories, so it's truly a pleasure to have so many people to share them with."
He glanced up as Ed started to wave frantically, and laughed as he stood up, gesturing to her to come over. "Ed! Heyyyy, Ed!" The massive reptile leaped down off the stage, stepping around (and in some cases over) people to get to his chimera friend. "There you are! Been wondering when you'd show up, little rascal!" He laughed as he wrapped his arm around her neck, rubbing his knuckles vigorously into her hair.
