Syren scratched her head in confusion. She had no idea what he meant, or what he was talking about. She laid down on the ground facing to the sky, crossed her arms over her chest, and closed her eyes. "I don't really understand you." She said.

The Dark One smiled, "Nor do I expect you to, as I do not understand you either." he answered quite simply. He pulled his hood back onto his head and closed his eyes with a thoughtful smile on his face. He began to think.

Syren flicked her eyes in his direction while he spoke. She paused to think after he spoke and had closed her eyes again. "It's not worth wasting time to understand me. Any other person will probably say the same thing." She said. "Even though people say everyone's different, we're actually the same, always striving for something better."

"I have no clue," The girl replied in answer. Then the girl suddenly blushed for some unknown reason. Scratching the back of her head in embarrassment, she then said, "It's Trixie by the way, Trixie Davidson." She sighed after that. Then turning back, Trixie said, "We should probably try and figure out what this place is."
"Indeed." Michelle answered in reply as she started off into a certain direction. She had no idea where the hell she was going, hell... she had no idea where she even was. Michelle sighed and wandered around in hopes of finding at least someone in this god forsaken world.

"Ah ha signs!" Trixie exclaimed as the two came to part of the forest with signs. "This should help immensely," she had said before she actually started reading them. The relieved smile on her face now became a frustrated pout. The signs had every direction written upon them, literally. Although, They all were completly useless to Trixie and Michelle. 'Up', 'down', 'back', 'this way', 'that way', 'yonder', etc, etc. All completly useless! Trixie let out a sigh. They were getting no where. Turning back to Michelle she questioned, "What do you think we should do?"

The Dark One thought for a moment, "I try very hard to hold conversations and make 'friends', but most people fear the Black Magics I use. In turn, making me somewhat anti-social, but I do not go out of my way to be." he answered, "Do you understand that?"

Syren glared her eyes at him."Yes, I understood perfectly well if that's what you needed to know." She answered sternly. She was seething but quickly calmed down. "How does it feel to live in Wonderland? To live in a fairytale world?"

Glancing at the signs, Michelle sighed. Well, this is just about as useless as a broken compass. Michelle sighed as she looked closer at the signs in hope that she missed something. Unfortunately, she didn't. She then glanced at Trixie and said with a sigh, "How about we go 'that way.'" She pointed at the sign that said, "That way."

"Might as well," Trixie replied with a sigh as she started heading 'that way'. It was awfully quiet as they walked on making Trixie a little uneasy. "So Michelle, tell me about yourself," Trixie brought up to bury the uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach. Conversation was always something that calmed her.
