"Quite all right," K'pak replied dryly, noticing the commotion not too far away and inclining his head to indicate it. "He's not knocking anyone over, so it can't be too terrible." Thank Faranth that Amalenth didn't seem too inclined to go barreling blithely through crowds, at least not yet. I would if they were trying to keep me from you. ...He was going to have to get used to that little voice interrupting his thoughts, wasn't he?

Still, after that brief comment, her attention turned back to the other two dragons. Head bobbing in agreement, she responded, I did not know there would be quite so many people here. Is it always so crowded? K'pak says that there are quieter places to go, perhaps once everyone has been fed we can go there. The green, too, couldn't help but look up at the much larger Yansanth, but there was perhaps a hint of skepticism about her expression. She was big, and a gold, but... well, she'd reserve judgement for now. Size and color weren't any indicator of sense, were they?

((I imagine I'm going to have Kyllae retire soon, before they run out of things to talk about, or...end up doing other stuff >.<)

There was no room in Kyllae's mind for doubt. If her incompetent sisters and her antisocial cousin could impress...then she would too. End of story. Now it was only a matter of when, and whether Okassis would impress before her or not. It was almost like a competition! And it was fair, since when it came to impressing...it wasn't like anyone had an advantage over other people. It could be fun!

She grasped his had firmly as she shook it. "Okay then, it's a date," she laughed. Was it wrong to hope for the next clutch to come soon, even while they were still celebrating this one? She didn't think so. A lot of the candidates were probably already longing for it.

Shells, thread was gonna fall, right? Larger, more frequent clutches. She still had three years. That was plenty of time. Especially with those three queens. In her mind, the odds were in their favor! "If we're lucky, we might be able to get a few others to bet on it!" Now that was an amusing idea. She was sure she could prod a few marks out of her cousin in her favor.

((Lol, I was thinking the same for Okassis, so that's perfectly fine. XD I've got his continuity played out through the rest of the night already anyway, so anything that gets him out of the Feast and onto other things is good by me.))

"Hah! Let me set the odds, and I bet we could get them to pay for the day," Okassis snickered, entertained by the thought. He'd always been one of those people who could turn one mark into five in a blink of an eye, though; he wasn't kidding.

At least he had something to look forward to, now. He didn't know if it was quite worth the failure hanging over him, but it certainly made the sense a bit lighter. Now, if only he could get another drink from somewhere, he bet that he could forget about it altogether....

((I'm throwing T'ka in as the responsible one, to save Kyllae from herself xD I'd have to say Kyllae and Okassis get along quite well. I look forward to them meeting up many times in the future 3nodding ))

"I wouldn't doubt your money procuring abilites," which was meant as a compliment. Wasn't that the best thing a trader could hope for? Leaning back in her chair a little, she chewed her lip, nursing the last little bit of her wine. She was aware in the back of her mind that it was getting late, and that a lot of the hall's occupants had retired. Huh...where had they all gone? Had she really been paying that poor attention?

She had just worked up the idea to ask Okassis if he wanted to go elsewhere and maybe bring a drink or two. Tell some more stories, or...whatever. Just then though, she felt a tap on her shoulder. Turning around with a smile to adress whoever wanted to join in the fun, she snapped to attention just a little. "Oh, ho' there T'ka!" Kyllae laughed, beaming. "Won't you join us for a drink?" she requested of her cousin. "This is T'ka, she's my cousin!" she informed Okassis, as if the resemblence between them wasn't enough already. They both shared the same sort of hair, though T'ka's was a bit shorter, and the same general build, though Kyllae was definately more femine, with curves and smiles,, while T'ka seemed all muscle and frowns.

Unfortunately for Kyllae, T'ka was not there to engage in the ritual of sharing drinks. The taller, more serious T'ka was here for Kyllae. In a monotone, if a little concerned voice, she started in on Kyllae. "Haanyath tells me you're over here having a little bit much to drink, with boys no less."

Kyllae laughed. "When am I without boys or drink?" she asked. T'ka sighed and shook her head. Kyllae was a little older than her, but T'ka had always been the responsible one. At least when it came to things like this. She would rescue Kyllae before she did anything reckless.

((They certainly do! XD Thanks muchly for the RP!))

"Uh-oh," Okassis giggled under his breath. It didn't take more than a moment of inspection for him to tell that T'ka was the fun-stopper, and their fun little night had just come to a close. Damn, and he'd started thinking that Kyllae might ask him to--

No, wait, that was probably the alcohol talking. Trying to steady a dizzy head with a deep breath, - my, it had crept up on him, hadn't it! - Okassis smiled to the newcomer. "You might want to make sure your Haanyath hasn't been drinking too much; it's just been one boy this evening, unless she's been entertaining someone behind my back," he informed the dragonrider with a light gaiety.

"But it looks like you two have some talking to do. It's been fun, Kyllae - I'll catch up with you sometime?" With a winning smile to the Dolphineer, Okassis rose from the table and began making his tipsy away from the Feast.

((I'm looking forward to seeing which of them impresses first actually xD Maybe we could RP out that little 'date' then))

Kyllae managed a glare at T'ka. Stupid T'ka, ruining all of her fun. The night was still young! What a party pooper. "Since when does Haanyath care about what I do?" she questioned, in one of her rare annoyed moods. But who wouldn't be angered, she'd just disrupted her nice little session with a good looking boy!

T'ka folded her arms across her chest. "Haanyath actually cares about you. And that's saying a lot," she informed. It was true, Kyllae was possibly the only other person Haanyath tolerated. T'ka didn't mention that she cared for her cousin's well-being as well. Candidate's were not allowed to engage in sexual activities. She could ruin both her and the boy's chances of standing. Kyllae would thank her later...hopefully.

"Fine, I'll humor you this time," Kyllae grumbled, giving one last, longing glance in Okassis' direction. Shells. She would have to make sure to meet up with him again later. But for now, led by T'ka, she picked her way out of the dining hall, not too happily.
