Parafli ~Isis HQ~
Without even thinking, he replied to her comment on Chrest. It didn't matter though, he didn't think she'd do anything to try and stop him - she seemed trust worthy enough...
"Don't worry, Chrest won't be around much longer..."
Well, that wasn't wholey true. Considering it was just Parafli assassinating the members, with no help, it might take a while. But none the less, he was determined to destroy them, as slow a process as it was. It wasn't so much that he had a large patience threshold because, he really didn't. It was because that was really all he had going for him; the destruction of Chrest and AGSA was all he lived for now.
Shaking his head at her comment about him taking her bed, he spoke.
"I don't mind people telling me to join Isis... I even said earlier, I may yet do that - living on the streets just isn't as much fun these days. Also, though I am tired, you obviously aren't much better off than I am. Besides, I've lived on the streets my entire life - just the aspect of sleeping under a roof, with or without a bed, is a treat."
Walking inside Korin's room, he sat down on the edge of the bed so as to drop her carefully onto her mattress. Standing up again, he nodded at Dierdre.
"Don't try to argue with me, you won't win - I'm more stubborn than I look. Yes, I'll admit, I do need sleep - but then, so do you. Take your bed, I'm perfectly fine with sleeping on a chair, or the floor or even."
Standing infront of the door to Dierdre's room now as he waited for her to enter the code, he smirked slightly.
"And that's final."

Duncan: ~Coming soon to a theater near you.~
"Morrrrrrgue"
Bloody girl. I'm in an emergency here!
"I know it's you Izanami", I said, rushing the words out of my mouth...it was getting late and I was beginning to feel...uneasy..."I'm in a bit of a bind. I have no idea wheer I am and need to get to FM ASAP!"
I felt the coffe flowing down Izanami's throat, I heard a page being turned...this girl's gonna get me killed one of these days...

((I'm gone for two days and the day's already coming to an end in Andel...))
Crosse: ~Puzzled.~
It wasn't odd for her to come and go as she pleases.
"I apologize, but I only intended to visit for a few minutes. I have a ton of paperwork to do, and I'd hate to be demoted because I didn't sign some of the old crone's doddering, verbal concepts. The reason I needed to see you face-to-face was to inform you that as of tomorrow, I'm sending men against the one FM building we found."
...which is exactly why I enjoyed these short visits. Her boys would do the scouting and we'd get the inside scoop. All of this was still shrouded under the dark cloak of secrecy and corporate shennanigans.
"I see", I was a little dissappointed that she wouldn't stay longer to plan the details of this attack...or other details...but I digress "You will let me know where you're going to strike. You might need some of our less ethical agents by your side if you're still planning on using the outdated weapon that Hiram has become."
He was a liability. She knew this. He took matters too personal.
I would have phoned O'Malley to tell him to bunk with Isis for the night. An attack on FM in the morning would stirr up their hive quite nicely, allowing O'Malley to gather more Intel than expected.
There was only one problem.
Where the hell is Isis?

Luca: ~My room. With unexpected company.~
"I'll give you my cellphone number. If you're ever in trouble I'll see if I can help, provided you're willing to tell me more about this whole Celestial thing at that time. But unless you can think up a good lie for why I let you go instead of taking you in, I'd better be off thinking up a good lie."
I don't...recall saying that I was a Celestial...but hey, my DOG knew so I guess it's not surprising.
Now..a good lie? I thought this was gonna be our little secret! He...he doen't intend to leave that girl to rot on the apartment accross the hall is he? It'll reek in the morning! And I'm not too keen on having my morning pancakes smell of freshly hatched maggot meat.
"Well...what about the girl? We make her a nice slab and visit her apartment every year to bring her flowers? Or are you planning on actually making this a crime scene and taping it with that fancy yellow tape you guys carry around?"
I didn't want to stall him. If he's gotta leave he's gotta leave. But I do tend to speak too much.
I picked up the metal nail from where it had fallen on the floor.
"If you ever need to contact me just rub it three times and acll out my name backwards. I'll be there in no time."
Yeah, I was freaking messing with the guy. But he didn't seem to know much about Celestials and it'd be hilarious to actually see him do it...
...Heh heh heh...silly humans...

[Izanami - FM HQ'
Izanami heard the panic in the caller's voice and leaned back in her chair, stretching. "Keep yer panties on, Duncan," she said in a dismissive voice, spinning her chair to face the closed laptop buried under a pile of open textbooks. She brushed them aside without care and flipped the laptop open.
"So what's this bind you're in?" she asked casually as she waited for the laptop to boot up, her tone not unlike one she'd use if she were asking about the weather or how his mother was doing. It sounded like she was just making conversation, but as she said it, she was casting a glance across the room at her weapon's locker, wondering how well she'd need to be armed and what vehicle she should take. She logged into the computer, bringing up the call-tracing software shortcutted on her desktop.
"Now how does this thing work," she muttered to herself, trying to remember the instructions she'd been given by the anonymous techie coworker who'd set her up with the seldom-touched computer. "Aha!" she cried out in triumph when a number and address popped up on the screen.
"You at a payphone, Duncan? I'll be right there."

Duncan: ~Well, s**t...~
"You at a payphone, Duncan? I'll be right there."
What?! Wait! No!
She hung up before I even muttered a word!
My bind is that I don't know where I am and she does! Does she even know how to drive a car? Take a cab? Cause that ride back to HQ would really kick this day into high gear!
Yea, to the secret FM Headquarters please! And step on it pal!
Here's hoping it doesn't rain anytime soon....

[Izanami - in her car, searching for Duncan]
Izanami scrawled the address of the payphone on her hand in blue pen and stood up, stretching her arms. "People always need me to get them out of situations," she complained to herself, approaching the weapons locker. She unlocked it deftly and looked in, selecting after a bit of consideration her favourite handgun, already loaded, and a standard-issue redneck shotgun just in case she needed some extra oomph. She thrusted the handgun into the holster on her right thigh and packed the shotgun into a long carrying bag.
She headed for the HQ garage, used the locator on her keys to find her sleek black car, and, after locating it in a shadowy corner, slipped into the front seat and stashed the shotgun into the back. She started the ignition, flicked on the headlights and backed out of her spot, headed towards the garage's exit. She flashed the guard her clearance, the door opened, and she blasted out into the street, hitting play on her cd player and flipping to some suitable chase scene music. She tapped the radar detector on on her dashboard to 'on' and took off, unabashedly and skillfully steering through the streets the direction of Duncan's location.

...Heh heh heh...silly humans... "Umn...How about I just give you my cellphone number? Right." He got out a small notepad and scribbled "Sam" and his number on it. He tore out the sheet and handed it to Luca. "There. I'll take care of the girl. I'm not and idiot." Maybe he meant that about the nail thing too. Part of him wasn't sure what to think, the other part was simply sceptical. He was trying to give Luca information to get in contact with HIM, not the other way around. He didn't expect any celestial to come when he called...even if rubbing a nail would do it. "I have to go. Good luck finding a new apartment...or fixing this one," he chuckled as he head for the door. ((I have more planned but I dont know if Luca's gonna stop him))

Deirdre ~Isis HQ~
Chuckling softly to herself, Deirdre stepped up to the computer locking panel and winked backwards at him before punching in the code. "Hey, don't worry. I was kind of hoping you were to stubborn to take my offer. I've had one hell of a day."
I actually thought that, for once, things were going to be simple and work out the way I had planned. It's too late now, but in the morning, I'll definitely ask this Parafli guy about whether he knew a Celestial named Sazuko and if she had any enemies or not. If there's one thing I hate the most, it's a Celestial killing a Celestial...
Stepping inside, those thoughts busied her until she'd slipped underneath the wonderfully warm covers. Her eyes closed and she drifted dreamily off, her mind shutting down despite her many thoughts.
And Korin and I have to find that other Celestial girl that ran off...luckily, I think I could pinpoint her on a sensor in the morning...
Adrienne: ~Chrest HQ, Main Office~
"Ethical? Hiram? Hardly. I'd say you've become overly ethical enough. That agent you sent out today should be on an operating table, not garnering respect as a peer...anyway..."
Adrienne had to get out quickly now; she could feel her chest convulsing into one of those coughs that signaled her eventual, premature demise. If it happened in his office, the weakness she would show would be incredibly embarassing. "Send your men, of course. I'll contact you later tonight, or perhaps, in the morning. Don't hesitate to call, Crosse."
She stepped out then, making her way briskly down the hall, ignoring the stare of the secretary. Finally she'd made it into the wonderful sanctuary of the elevator. Privacy was a virtue, and she collapsed into a horrible fit.
Elevator going down. Down, down, down.
Luckily, her business suit that day was red, so when she was done nobody could tell. Lately, she wore shades of scarlet very often.

Oh, and sorry about the chair thing in my post here... you didn't exactly describe your room, so I'm just assuming stuff sweatdrop >
Parafli ~Deirdre's room~
Smirking, he nodded at her response and walked over to an arm chair in the corner of the room. Flopping down limply, he averted his gaze from Deirdre, assuming she'd strip somewhat before sleeping - it was, he guessed, what normal people did before going to sleep after all.
"I'll have to take a better look around this place tomorrow..."
He whispered to himself, before closing his eyes and resting his head back. He was out within 3 seconds of doing so.

((Important Info to Read: Okay, I can't help but feel that we should get back into a more active Rping groove, and that refraining from the jump is causing the delay. I understand, however, that there are some characters that haven't quite finished up their little scenario - so here's the plan for coming to a perfect compromise. Although I will be establishing a jump for those that want to move your characters along, you can choose not to immediately take part in it. All that means is that when you are ready, post 12 hours later... in front of your post, or something along those lines that communicates the basic message. Okay? Okay!
Oh, and another note: don't feel like you have to start off where your character left off at all. In this case, I'm moving Deirdre to Sal's house, and Hiram and some men to the FM building that the FM characters are currently housed up in. Other characters should feel free to tag along with any of my character's (*coughs* Korin or Parafli, or both).))
12 hours later...
Deirdre ~Outside Sal's House~
One of the best benefits to being of a psychic mentality was that, although she was admittedly rather weak when it came to brute force, her resources of wit and wile were sufficiently enhanced. The sensors read that there were about thirty active Celestial movements moving around this half of the city, and when Deirdre passed her hand over the radar screen, she narrowed the list down to about ten. From there on, she just tried to create a mental map of their location yesterday when they met her, and the general direction Deirdre thought she saw the strange girl run in. And so, at about the same early time in the morning that she'd tracked down Sazuko yesterday, Deirdre found herself standing outside on the doorstep of a rather dilipidated-looking home.
With definite decisiveness, she snapped the screen down like you might an ordinary calculator (a great espionage aspect of her duties), and then she made three quick raps on the door.
Hiram: ~Outside FM Building, On Nearby Rooftop~
With the morning "sun" poised at this angle, shadows fell across the particular part of the rooftop that Hiram stalked. His cell phone was ready at his side, as well as a very helpful walky-talky that he was using to communicate with several important leaders of the raid. Somehow, this didn't feel right to him - he was a member of the damn AGSA, no longer a unit in a police squad. While a policeman he'd had some run-in's with the FM crowd, and he'd happily considered those days done. Unfortunately for him, the higher-ups (Adrienne), thought this weird attack would somehow take a great toll on the Celestial population. He didn't really understand, but neither did he question.
"Be ready to move in ten minutes," Hiram directed in low tones into the walky-talky. It wasn't that Hiram was all that important to leading it, as that he was an vital step in the strange ring of communication that had been set up. So that the radio waves were less likely to be comprehensibly traced, a system that reminded him of playing whisper-down-the-alley as a child (because, amazingly, those days had once existed).
Adrienne ~Slowly Moving Towards the FM Building, Parson's Street, Car~
For a moment, her widened eyes didn't quite take in the information that she was reading from the small sensor machine built into her car. Still a little unbelieving at her massive good luck, Adrienne flipped her cell phone open. Crosse's secretary answered, so Adrienne gave her a quick: "Put me into Crosse, dear. This is an urgent conversation."
If Crosse's little O'Malley experiment is tracking the Gust, the Brain, and the Glow, then maybe two birds can be killed with one stone, figuratively speaking...and we can capture the helpful little scapegoat already. Unfortunately, I don't have that Chrest Celestial's phone number - if he even has a phone - so I'm counting on you to be dependable today, Crosse.

((FINALLY!))
Korin ~With Deirdre~ Korin yawned as Deirdre played with her tracker. "Couldn't you have just kept a mental mark on her? Machines are so.... unreliable..." She leaned against a wall of the Lower Level and sighed. Two days in a row...how stupid. She was beginning to think that some celestials were... unsavable. Like that Sazuko girl. Killed by another Celestial, no less! She would have been perfect for Isis. An assassin... I'll make sure I find the moron that wiped her out. I hope he knows what he got himself into. She followed Deirdre to a strange home at the Eastern Wall. There were fewer people here. As she followed Deirdre, she glanced casually at the dusty ground. Feathers...? She watched Deirdre rap on a piece of plywood, a makeshift door, perhaps, and she sighed again. "We didn't get her name, either, Dre? Why'd we have to come this early, anyway!?" she felt an old-fashioned tantrum coming on. Even though she had slept, her body had used all energy from her rest to restore her energy cells. She wished she had slept in the Regenerator back at HQ. Oh, well...
Laurence ~Across the street from FM HQ.~ Laurence was ultimately annoyed. It had already been a bad day. He had orders to wear black. He hated black! It was so drab and dull. He looked down at his suit and sighed. At least he got to wear his white tie. That cheered him up a little. He stood on the rooftop with Hiram, leaning against a wiring system covered in glass. He pushed his hair out of his face and attempted to crack his neck. "Be ready to move in ten minutes," Hiram's voice seemed to echo as it was relayed through his earpiece and as he heard it coming from in front of him. "Are we sure this is the right place, Mr. Matthews? I'd rather not waste so much force on a hunch." he didn't even look up at Hiram, however. He had opened a suitcase and was now picking the right knives to throw if need be. He closed that compartment and opened another. A screen automatically switched on and he saw three small dots: the three celestials he had been tracking yesterday. Perfect! Adrienne must be pointing this out to the Boss right about now... He chuckled to himself. I just hope O'Malley will get the call...

Parafli ~Behind them~
"Abandoning me so soon? Not very sporting, leaving a guy in a place he knows nothing about..." It wasn't too hard to follow Dierdre and Korin. After he was "abandoned" by the pair, he had simply followed their presence which he had kept track of in the back of his mind. An assassin would have to be good at these things, after all.
"Just be thankful I didn't kill any of your other Isis pals." He said casually. It was morbid joke, as he obviously wouldn't do that unless provoked. Glancing at the door, Parafli sighed and shook his head. Why would they just wait?
"I'll never understand you people..." He muttered, moving past Deirdre infront of the door. Patience was a foreign language to him. So, bringing his fist back, he drove it through the door beside the handle. Unlocking it from there, he opened the door calmly and made a low bow with a gesture towards the entrance as he faced Deirdre and Korin.
"Voila." Was all he said, stepping inside to admire the home, obviously not caring towards the fact that the houses owner would likely freak out at the forced entrance of someone.

[[Oh happy day! *jumps ic* I really hope this isn't because of my bored rant in the ooc thread. sweatdrop Sal's home, is only a single but very large room. If you missed the description of her home in the last post I had up, it's a very large room with a bunch of old sheets hanging from the ceiling, creating a maze of sheets. x3 At the end is just her cot with three oil lamps, and underneath her bed is all her medical supplies she uses for her routes.]]
A knock snapped my eyes open, I went rigid and listened intently.
Someone is here?
They're... knocking? Every once in awhile I'll get a pounding on the door, an emergency from someone who still doesn't know that Jove doesn't live... here... anywhere. Over the years though, word has spread, and it's once every month or so. I stood from my cot and stretched my wings, a crack and pop here and there, and then a small ruffle as I shook the loose feathers. They fell, carelessly to the floor. I slipped an arm to put on my raincoat to answer-- A loud crunching of wood from my poor front door cracked through the air.
I froze.
I listened as the clicking of the lock was undone and the door was lightly swung open.
Oh heavens. Please, heavens no.
I dropped my raincoat, and ran into my maze.
