Bukotsu picked up Sachi and puther on his shoulders, "Ready to go Sachi?" Bukotsu smiled. He began to walk to catch up to Tomoro, as soon as he caught up, he veered his eyes up to Sachi, "Sachi, just how old are you?" Bukotsu asked since he was guessing 5-7 years.
He then glanced over at Tomoro, "I was just curious since I never asked before.." sweatdrop

"It's fine... I figured she was about that age, too." Tomoro continued walking, looking up to the sky. "You know, I wonder if anyone else could ever join us.... cause we're like, going on a journey or something.... why, we could form an entire group!" Tomoro's eyes gleamed as she said this, excitedly. "We'd be an entire squad going on an adventure or something!" Although she was slightly putting up a happy front, it was better to act happy, in her opinion, than to mope around and act like the end of the world was coming soon. Actually, that would be really cool... it would be like a group of friends traveling together, overcoming obstacles... I WANT TO MAKE IT HAPPEN! Tomoro shyly looked back, smiling slightly.

Sachi looked down at Bukotsu. She was unsure how to answer that question. She only remembered as far back as the morning before. "I.... don't know... But I guess you can say my birthday was yesterday." she said with a giggle. Sachi then looked over in Tomoro's direction. "A big group sounds like a lot of fun. It would make an adventure really worthwhile!"

( You could start off by saying how you got to the Greenhouse; like, " _____ was just wandering around when he came across the smell of flowers. Wondering why there was such a strong scent, he followed it and the scent took him to the Greenhouse, where students were mingling." You can use that if you want. It sucks though, so...I'm just trying to be helpful...I'm new to this Forum myself!) biggrin

The young and vibrant Kai wandered through his new school. He suddenly stopped when his keen nose picked up the scent of a variety of different herbs, flowers, and spices. His brown eyes lit up and his hand clenched onto his staff and book tighter as he ran towards the aroma. The healer's jaw dropped as he saw the enormous greenhouse in front of him, "Whoa..." He shifted the book to under the staff-wielding arm and opened the door slowly. A warm breeze of air hit his frontside gently and he smiled widely. He entered and closed the glass door behind him, moving his healing book back to his other hand. He flicked his head back slightly to move his brown hair out of his face so he could examine the plants more carefully. His feet started walking by themselves and his curious earth-colored eyes examined everything. The emerald gem on the tip of his oak staff glimmered in the light of the botany house. His feet made absolutely no sound as Kai walked through the building, the only sound was the steady beat of his heart and the occasional breath he took.

"OH, umm thank you", he said gratefully accepting the hanker cheif. As soon as he got out he began to feel alot better his head clearing up and his vision returning to normal. He glanced about his surroundings and glanced at his watch. "Oh sorry miss, but I gotta get going I have an appointment that needs tending to", he said getting up and returning the hankercheif. "Maybe wwill meet again, but for now ta.", he said waving back at her as he sprinted away.

Kai blinked when he soon returned back to reality. He noticed that there were other students in the greenhouse and one of them ran in front of him. The breeze from the boy's movements caused a few stray strands of brown hair blow around his face gently. The young healer had become more relaxed and the book and staff were at his sides now. He was careful not to knock any of the delicate plants towards the floor and to their inevitable demise. Kai took in a deep breath and slowly exhaled, the flowers and herbs calming him even more. The top button of his white shirt was unbuttoned, revealing some of his collarbone. His tan khakis were baggy against his legs and his black sneakers were tied loosely. His original clothing choices made him feel very comfortable and at peace with himself most of the time. His brown eyes wandered back to the shelves of plants and he started walking again, slowly and carefully.

((Hey, Oni. I'm gonna like, take Sachi shopping or something, since Azns not gonna be here. xDDD wink )
Tomoro smiled lightly, picking up Sachi in her arms, spinning her around. "Yes, it would! I just forgot something in the greenhouse, though... would you care to help me get it?" Tomoro smiled, and hoisted Sachi up on her shoulders; it was surprising how strong she was when she carried such a delicate frame around. She headed back into the greehouse, walking in slowly, glancing around. A young boy with seemingly chestnut hair was wandering around HER PLANTS! The nerve! He better not pick those.... Tomoro brought Sachi down, still holding her in both arms, suppressing her weight against her chest. Sachi's long, white hair curled around Tomoro's arms, and it almost seemed like she was carrying a wig or something. "After this, Sachi, let's go get ice cream, heh. It could be a nice change or something." She moved her head down, lips facing Sachi's ear, whispering. "We could go shopping or play... anything you want! We could bring Oni, too..." However, this was the least of her problems right now, the brown haired boy was still wandering around, and it made her slightly suspicious. What kind of stuff would he do? Did he like plants too? Tomoro pondered over these thoughts as she brought Sachi and herself over to him.
"Excuse me..." she said slowly, and carefully. Tomoro pulled back her night lotus flower Bukotsu had given her, and rearranged her position on Sachi. "...but what exactly ARE you doing?" You can't trust him... be careful about what you say. He could be dangerous, even if it doesn't look like it. He looks pretty weak, actually...

Kai's brown eyes went wide and he quickly turned to face the girl, "Sorry..." He bowed slightly and his voice remained quiet, "I...apologize if I have intruded upon your plants...I was just curious to see what kind they were..." The healer stood up straight again and his earthen eyes examined the girl carefully, sensing that she was a little bit mad at him. He sighed slightly and shifted the book and staff around a little bit, "I hope you can forgive me..." A slight frown appeared on his face and his brown hair framed his face almost perfectly. He didn't keep his mind on the girl's forgiveness for very long and he averted his gaze, and attention, to the plants again. He carefully set his book down and held a mysterious flower's leaf in his hand. His thumb caressed the top of it gently, other fingers rubbing the underside. Kai's eyes went towards the blossom and noticed it was a vibrant pink color with white tips. He set his staff down next to his book and stepped over to a different flower. This one was a solid blue with pointed leaves, and he caressed those also. The whole time, the young healer was taking mental notes and pictures of each flower, its scent, width of its leaves, feel of its leave, and its state in development. He went into his own little "plant-fantasizing world" and totally forgot about the girl that was a few feet away from him.

Lost in his own world... I remember when I was like that... just thinking about the plants... "You... gaze at the plants, stranger.... but do you know what they're thinking? I can tell you're a healer; I'm a beginning healer. But do you know what emotions a plant holds? It's only then that you can truly apply them to help others." She arranged her eyepatch, and gazed at the boy for a moment with her clear grey eyes. Tomoro gently set Sachi down, and kneeled down next to the boy, stroking the plant very softly. "The Algora Stratzea... very rare. Only found on another planet... amazing how this school can obtain some of the rarest plants in the world." Tomoro stood back up, and sighed lightly, opening the pouch on her hip, taking out a few seeds, and sprinkling them on an area of open dirt. She closed her eyes softly, and put a finger to her lips, then touching it on the soil, as they would grow faster now that she had applied a bit of her magic on it. "Come, Sachi. We have to get going, otherwise we won't figure out what the heck we're on a journey for."

Yume smiled at her new aquaintance. Another friend made! Yume grinned and walked out of the Greenhouse, making sure to say goodbye to Kai. " Bye Kai!" Yume smiled happily and skipped out of the Greenhouse, apparently very happy at finding a new friend.

Kai blinked and watched the girl closely, "You...can teach me...how to tell what the plants are...thinking?..." The healer blinked and watched the mysterious girl curiously, "What's your name anyway?..." He had snapped back to reality and his attention changed to the girl as he forgot about the plants temporarily. He blinked again and quickly picked up his staff and book in one fluid movement. Even though he barely had any muscle mass, he was still very agile when he wanted to be. He then looked back at the otherwordly plant and examined it closely, "Hmm...We could...possibly...self-pollinate it and grow some more on Earth...But...I'm not sure what the genetic make-up of this specimen is...If we tried that, we could possibly ruin the offspring and it could be a potentially dangerous flower...But if we succeeded...We could produce a plant that could cure some of Earth's most complicated diseases...Or...We could just make an exact copy of the mother plant..." He smiled slightly and looked back at the girl, searching for both an answer to her name and a response to his last comments about the mysterious plant. Kai smiled and nodded towards Yume, "Farewell!" He kept smiling and shifted his gaze back to the first girl.

Tomoro's eyes widenened, surprised that somebody was actually willing to talk to her, without throwing a cup or another object at her head. "No... I can't tell you what plants are thinking... but I can teach you how BEGIN interpretting what they are feeling. I... was taught the power how to control Earth by my Grandmother... but that's another story entirely... one I don't prefer to speak of..." He has no idea what kind of person is standing in front of him... what I've gone through... Tomoro attempted to cover up the serial number on her arm by clasping her hand around it, but so far that wasn't working too well. "The Algora Stratzea... is only growing on this planet because it has been fed biological ingredients from the teachers at Ria. I suppose they want to continue researching it. But that is all. From what I've heard of it, it will die, and no more will exist in this greenhouse until somebody else finds it on that planet, bringing back seeds and harvesting them for 48 hours in pure soil found in volcanos. After that, it can be placed in regular soil."
Tomoro turned her back to him quickly, checking on Sachi, rubbing her hair. "Would you like to go pick some flowers? I'm sure they wouldn't mind." Tomoro sighed softly, and nodded, turning back to the young man quickly, bowing. "My name... is Tomoro Kourosai. And what is yours, stranger?"
