When you write a long post consisting of a few paragraphs in response to someone's question or actions and one of these happen:
A. The one liner response.
B. By the time you do post the ones who doesn't care to write long or in great details has already made about eight posts so you have to go back and read what they had to say or edit your post to deal with them.
C. The person with whom you were replying too tells you that your post is too long and they don't feel like reading it.
One other pet peeve I hate is when everyone is practically godly and everyone is immortal with some unknown age but looks like a teenager. What's wrong with mortality? And then when you fight with them...ugh!
I know that I'm going into a rant now but when someone makes themselves super powered with no visible weakness then say that there is being a lack of common sense, what the hell can you do with that?
I've dropped so many RPs because of that.
I agree with that so much.
I was in a naruto RP, and one of the characters WOULD NOT GET HIT! they would dodge everything, and every time I did something which guaranteed a hit, she dodged it. She then claimed that I had to outsmart HER, not the character, HER!
Sorry, but it pisses me off when people do that.
And as for the post length, I agree with you there, my posts tend to be at least a mid-large sized paragraph to three paragraphs maximum, and when I do that, and it isn't read, I drop the RP.
I was in a resident evil RP, and my guy was alone on a rooftop, talking to the villain. Now, this roleplay had several noobs, and one of whom constantly sent one liners, each involving auto-hits. But this guy DID NOT READ your posts. He suddenly decided both of our characters would be in the middle of the streets, shooting at zombies. When he was told off, he claimed to have ADD, not enough time, our posts were too long, and other things.
