Wow. Ghastly is terrible at lower levels. I have no TM's to teach it either.

I'm replaying Pokemon Red currently...I think almost all of them are close to level 40. I leveled them all to their fullest. It took forever for Charmeleon to evolve.

@symphonic: It does seem like the pokemon you want to evolve the most takes forever to.

It's the same with Magikarp. Waiting for it to turn into Gyarados is ridiculous.

I know! I think it's because it's main attacks are Splash and Tackle. You have to rotate it in and out of battle in order for it to get experience because it can't do anything most of the time.

My suggestion would be to lose machop and get a budew and evolve it to roselia or just find a roselia. Then if you feel like it you can evolve your roselia into roserade with a dawn stone I think.
