Trumpets!!!!
I don't hate the instrument itself, just the people who play it. They can't seem to play quietly, they think they're the best in the band even if they suck. And the best trumpet, no matter how bad, is ALWAYS the BD's favourite.

Yeah ok I do give them credit they really did make our band BUT every single one of them was arrogant, snobby, and rude. not to mention HOW LOUD THEY WERE!!!!!!
Piccolos are WAY WAY WAY to high pitched. Flutes players were always really mean too.
Percussion sorta always got to me too. I mean I LOVE percussion but it was just SO DANG LOUD! Plus we had a lot of stupid ones who just kinda sat around and did nothing.
and Saxophones, they just sound awkward.

i have to admit the flutes are the ones i dislike the most cause they are so annoying when played wrong and they always get the damn melody (i play trombone)

no matter how much they tune they sound like s**t. i think it's just ombesure issues.

i play flute and i hate how we sound like a big part of the song! i mean COME ON!!! im a natrual at messing up! and i hate it being noticed (unless i say it). and i really dont like the alto sax. seriously the ones in our band SUCK! as our trumpets. they cant stay in tune

It's a really popular instrument, so its harder to find someone who plays it well. Your trumpets are out of tune? What else is new. xP But I'm SURE they think they're the best in the band. I don't like trumpets: Loud, overconfident, mean, LOUD! huuuuuuuge egos.

Alright... Trumpets. Its nothing with the way they play (well thats kinda a lie) its their attitudes. In my marching band my woodwind section is always complaining about Trumpets and how they get what they want. biggrin

FLUTES! I have a bow lip shape (double curve upper lip) so they're IMPOSSIBLE to play for me. Also, all the drummers I know that aren't my cousin are immature buttheads. Especially Warren, (in the plaid shirt) but I'm still friends with him.

Niphe23 I HATE CLARINETS!!!! The are just so annoying and flat. evil ummm they are only flat if the person playing it is flat and they are not annoying they are awesome

The people that I know that play it are cool. Most of them anyway.
Edit: Clarinets, like trumpets, will always Bb. Haha, I made a joke. sweatdrop

i'm such an indiviudualist...
i can't help but hate the trumpet and the bones.
i don't mind the music.
but i hate at least three people from each section.
all of the trumpets are arrogant and never know when to be serious.
the bones just think everything should be about sex.
its ******** annoying.
oddly enough i don't really like how the flutes sound. they're too high to sound normal and too low to sound pretty.
that's why i'm upgrading to pic. :D

I can't really say I hate an instrument, however, the ones I can't stand in a concert setting I would say the Piccolo, why, why must we have something so high pitched next to us!!!

I generally don't like woodwinds...at all.
The sound is just so weak most of the time. Every now and then I can take a flute if the right song is being played. It can sound precious.
I don't really like Tuba either. Mostly because at my school they're all retards and have no sense of discipline.
I like mostly just Brass.
But percussion is way better.
