Alex quirked a brow at the comment and bowed to Azyre. "Ah. That's what I'm afraid of." she laughed lightly. "I am Captian Alexandria Drake. And you are the owner of this establishment?" she asked approaching him resting her hand on the hilt of her sword casually.
"What exactly IS Adonis?" she said motioning to the little fluttering angel who was happily picking out clothing and various things. "I found him sleeping with me one day and haven't been able to rid myself of him since. I cannot DO with a conscience.. Well it is.. simply unbecoming of a pirate to let them go because your little fairy angel thing tells you to." she said slightly exhasperated.
"Might there be a way to perhaps..be rid of him? God knows i've tried so many things but the little demon keeps coming back."
"I"M NOT A DEMON!!! " Adonis landed next to Audric. "THAT is a demon" he pointed angrily. "I am an ANGEL. GET IT AN-GE-LLL" he sounded out to her angrily.
His eyes narrowed and he looked to Audric. "was your's like this in the beginning oni?"
Adonis was now clad in the trendiest pirate wear a small thing his size could wear. Aside from the pile of clothing that was bigger than he, that he had amassed from his spin about the store.
"What are you lookin' at?" he spoke to Azerim as if he hadn't know he just interrupted their conversation.
Adonis was a gorgeous little angel, but he certianly didn't act like one.

Azerim blinked, almost not realizing he was being spoken to. He looked out and spied an angel with blue wings and an eye patch. "Oh, I was looking at my owner over there." He pointed out towards Dark, still looking at Urcaquary's ring. "He just recieved a ring, just like you used to be! He's my little brother!" Azerim piped up cheerily. He coughed out a laugh though, realizing he hadn't properly introduced himself yet. Looking at the demon, he smiled and said "My name is Azerim! What's yours?"

Adonis' eyes widened and looked over at the guy with the ring.
"Uh.. Sorry" he grinned impishly and scratched the back of his head. "I'm Adonis. She's my well owner, but she doesn't want me" he frowned. "As much of a meanie as she is.. She likes me i think." he laughed.
"She's a pirate, so I gotta dress like one! Cuz I wanna be a pirate too. She threatened to dip me in paint and call me Parrot" he frowned angrily.

It wasn't that Audric's mood had improved, it was that there were more people, and he didn't dare meander about looking depressed, it was unbecoming of the one who was supposed to guard the store. He peered at Azerim curiously. "You have a younger brother now?" His question was soon answered.
Azyre's ears flicked lightly at the chatter going on all at the same time, between angel and owner and oni and angel and oni and oni. "Well Captain, it is safe to say I am indeed the owner of this little shop." The druid eyed her weapon fondly. She reminded him of the old world, and vaguely smelled of wood and wiskey. Ah, allure, thy name was woman.
"Adonis is..." He was interrupted by her continuing to speak and nodded, "But you see, he is exactly that. Adonis is a personification of your concience! I'm sorry, but there's no way to get rid of him." Azyre said, listening with amusement as Adonis himself jumped on Alex, in a tiff.
Actually, Azyre was lying. There was a way to be rid of both angels and demons, but he didn't care to mention it, as it would mean the death of another innocent soul, which he wouldn't allow. Adonis had chosen her, and with her he would stay.
Audric waved when pointed to. "I'm a demon, yep!" He turned to Adonis, still quite little but very feisty. "Mine? No. But mine doesn't care for me much. Gabriel's owner however has tried to kill him on numerous occations."
Azyre chuckled at the choice of clothing. "Well, you do look rather dashing." Already Azyre was calculating about Alexandria and little Adonis. Pirates huh? He'd imagine they'd require a lot to keep them occupied. It soon dawned on him with the opening of a swimming pool the next block over. He'd rent it out and wage a naval war!
Azyre whipped out a paper and a pencil and began to write a list out.

The three "customers" in the shop previously were a bit too busy to notice Alex and Adonis at first. It wasn't that they were disinterested, just busy. Azyre's attempt to awake Kamuzu had worked, and the small angel brought a great deal of attention to the small company around him. He wriggled and stretched on the top of Kori's fingers, and then tried to crawl up her dress sleeve.
"He's adorable!" Zac cooed. This little pixie-thing was so cute. The mother reached out and stroked Kamuzu under his chin and the little angel gave her an approving grin. Zac didn't even seem to mind (or notice for that matter) the fact that the expensive ring she had bought for Kori was now gone. Instead, the new little angel was all that mattered. "Kori is he a little pet?"
Tsurara watched Kamuzu move and wiggle with intrest. It was amazing. "Wow, that's so cool! Did he really come from that ring? He's so tiny!" The boy's eyes widened as he saw Kamuzu flutter from Kori's shoulder into the palm for his hand. "Hey there!"
Kori, on the other hand, was appalled at this new intruder. Where the heck was her ring? She wanted a ring before, not an annoying pixie. "Hey, I'm not taking care of him. He's a creepy little flying maggot and I don't want him here. I want my ring!"
The angel's once happy grin and purr was gone. He sulkily flew back to Kori and sat down on her shoulder. "That wasn't very nice. You need to apologize to everyone..."

Alex looked to Azyre and looked disappointed. 'i thought my conscience would be more ya know.. fearsome and less. well " she sighed as the small ANgel was busy primping hismelf in Audric's little mirror. "Well less cute and cuddly?"
Adonis looked cute in his eye patch with his pirate hat. "ARGH!" he growled into the mirror "Avast ye land lubbers!"
Alex put her hand on her face and sighed. "SEE what I have to deal with? How can THAT be what's inside my head? I don't even say that kinda stuff!"
Adonis laughed and sat down on a small couch "I want one of these! PleasE?!" he grinned.
"Fine.. get whatever you want. I guess a happy conscience is a quiet one." she looked over to Azyre and then to the small creatures inhabiting the counter.
"Why do I have him?" she asked honestly.

Azerim began to worry. He noticed that Darks emotions were slowly turning, from happy to sad. Ever so slowly. His mind wanders so far from reality... Azerim thought to himself, shaking his head. The little demon used his springing rocks to jump over to Dark.
Landing on his shoulder, the Earth Oni gave him a hug on the side of his head. "Don't worry. Nothing's gonig to happen. Everying will be all right in the end. You've waited long enough. You deserve it my friend." These words touched Dark, and Azerim jumped into his paml next to the ring. "Hey you know what? My belts really tattered... And the ring is bigger than it, and much more comfortable. Do you think I could wear the ring instead of my belt?" Azerim looked up with promising eyes. "Uhh...." Dark was caught off guard with this question, he thought Azerim was going to bring up other issues, but alas; now was not the place or the time. "Well, as the duty of being a big brother falls on your shoulders as it does mine, I am proud to give you this ring to wear. Take good care of Urcaquary now, Azerim." Dark smiled, and sheilded Azerim from everyone in the shop while he quickly changed. "Wooow! This ring is so much smoother than I though! This is great! Thanks Dark! I'll take good care of him!" With a nod and a jump, Azerim was out and about running around on the floor, with Urcaquary's ring rplacing his tattered belt.

Azyre smiled serenely. Alex seemed distraught now, but she would come to accept Adonis, and realize she needed him. He leaned back against the counter as she spoke, smiling at the tiny angel. "Nobody's concious is fearsome, Alex. That's just not what they are." He said simply, "He's become the outer voice of the inner thoughts that you too often have ignored, when they could help you. You have him because his base spirit, his body if you will, discovered your concious and sought you out."
He smiled happily at Kamuzu's emergence, though Kori's obstinance was discouraging, despite all she had seen, she still refused to believe any of it. Kamuzu's ring had molded to fit onto his arm, he still had it, though Azyre doubted he'd part ways with his Halo. Each angel wore theirs a different way. Some had theirs hover over their heads, others still wore them as bracelets or jewlery. "Kamu, you have your work cut out for you with this one." Azyre said sympathetically.
Audric peered at Azerim, beginning to laugh quietly as he took the smooth violet stone ring and hooked it to his suspenders, creating a nearly comical hoop skirt appearance. Audric for the life of him could not understand why Azerim never opted for normal clothes. Well, his bartender attire wasn't exactly normal, but Azerim didn't even wear pants, or a shirt, or shoes. He called down to the oni. "Be careful you don't warp the ring! It is stone, you know!" Audric shook his head at Azerim and wandered over to Adonis. "I think you look rather dashing." He admitted with a smile, his tail flicking back and forth.

Alex nodded and looked to Adonis who was happily trading fashion tips with Audric.
"So. I see i don't really have a choice. I should simply embrase him?" she asked honestly now leaning on the counter herself.
"He is humorous in a child like way, but that gets annoying real quick" she admitted. "From your shop it appears they grow correct?" she asked looking over at Azyre. After a nod form him she looked over and smirked
"when did you get him?" she thumbed over to Audric.
Adonis grinned to Audric. "Why thank you. I do have to say your noblemen attire is rather suited for you. Very handsome. Makes me want to..' HE quickly pulled out a little plastic sword "makes me want to pillage you!" he laughed in a joking manner. Holding Audric at plastic sword point. "Argh gimmie all yer gold!"
(BTW what is with all the a names? Alex, Adonis, Audric, Azyre, Azerim?))

Melek who'd remained quiet and doing his own thing for the first little while was getting bored and needed something to do. Growling at nothing he walked across the table then back again, there were so many new Oni's and angels it was driving him alittle nuts.
Frowning he did the only thing he could think of practice his powers...yes he'd promised to behave, but that was before he got bored... Touching his small hand against the wood of the counter he waited, not long though after a few mintues green vines started to appear causeing cracks to form in the counter.
Melek just grinned at his handy working.

Kamuzu looked at Azyre hopefully and touched the ring on his arm. "I'll try my best." The shopkeeper had kept him safe as a ring, and it was his duty to try and help those that were lost. As a young angel, Kamuzu's heart was dead set on pure intentions in helping his new ward.
"Forget it, he's mine and I'm saying that we're leaving." Kori reached out and pinched the scruff of Kamuzu's neck like a kitten, hoisting him up into the air. The angel fell limp in her grasp, which made it very easy for the young girl to storm out of the shop with a nasty scowl. These people were so stupid! Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid! It was at this moment that she wanted to kick and scream and throw a temper-tantrum. No, she had something to prove to that stupid shopkeeper. She was going to prove that this angel would listen to her, and not the other way around.
Tsurara watched as his twin left the shop (and their mother followed soon after). "Sorry about Kori..." The boy beamed at everyone around him and gave them all a wave. "Melek, Adonis, Alex, I want to see you all again. I didn't get to talk to you much, so maybe I can next time." After his brief speech, he ran over and threw his arms around Azyre. "I'll bring Kamuzu back some other time, okay? Thanks for letting him come to live with us!" As Zac stuck her head in and called for her son, Tsurara left the shop. These people were all so nice (or, at least in his mind).

"Yup. Accepting him for who he is and listening to him is the best way to happy coexistance. Ignore him, and he'll never ever ever shut up." Azyre said with a laugh. Oni used force to get their way. If they wanted something and their owner didn't comply-- too bad. Angels preferred non violent but highly irritating tactics to be heard.
"When did you get him?" Alex asked, motioning to the blonde ice oni.
Azyre shook his head. "He isn't mine. I just let him hang about here and run the shop with me. He chose his owner, just as Adonis picked you, but it seems neither needs the other as much as they originally thought." Azyre gently patted Tsurara's head as the boy grasped him in a quick hug. "Take care," He said to the boy, glancing at the clock as the lad ran out. "It's an hour until closing time." He said quietly.
Audric meeped at plastic sword point, holding up his blue hands. "Don't keel me!" He squeaked. Reaching down to rifle his hands in his pockets, he realized he only had some lint, and by the look of the pirate, that wasn't going to be good enough. Smirking, Audric reached for his hip for an imaginary sheath, forming a small rapier out of ice in his hand. Pulling it out, Audric challened the young pirate. "Haha! You had to try and rob a royal knight! En Garde, you fiend!"
((It just happened coincidentally. I had Azyre since I first joined in March '03, and when I first got Audric I named him by what I thought would be a fitting meaning for when he got older. It means 'old and wise rule.' Dark named his Azerim, after a creature he'd had before in a different game, and then you showed up with Alex Drake, and named your angel Adonis. XD *shrugs* it's so hard to make sure you're writing out the right names.))

Urcaquary's ring gave off a bizarre aroma. The more Dark stared at it, the more it shined; and it was hard to turn away from. Azerim noticed it too, and before long they were both looking down at their new edition to the family. Dark wanted to know it's secrets. How was this ring tied to Iruini? What's the story behind the acual angel? A spirit? He didn't know; though staring at it more inently seemed like it would tell him evenually. Probing the ring with his eyes, Dark almost looked like he was going to crush the tiny thing with his fist. Azerim gave off the same look; like he was disgusted to be wearing the ring. It just captivated the two of them. It paralyzed them, made them want to know more and more. And all the while, the ring kept on glowing violet purple. Suddenly Dark felt a sharp pain in his side, and flinched completely, jumping backwards, and throwing Azerim off his gaze as well. Both of them toppled to the floor; Azerim rolled across the ground the ring helping him along. He hit the side of the counter top with a loud crack!
Dark sat up and whispered "Wow..."

He lunged out at the demon pet only to fall on his face, tripping on his own lacey hems. "OOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" he whined loudly tears spilling out of his eyes. "ALLEXXXX" he sniffled wiping his tears on his sleeve. "OH walk it off" she groaned "I'm talking here." Adonis grew angry and stood up. "She's so mean!" he looked back to audric. "Is your master mean like this? I don't understand why she won't listen to me!" he was frustrated and sighed. "Let's get back to the battle at hand! If i win you'll tell me the secret of happy living with her!" he joked and started to sword fight with audric. Suddenly he realized that Audric was playing with a sword of ice. He dropped his sword and wowed at it. "HEY.. it's ice! that's neat!" Audric's sword didn't stop as it smacked him in the head. "OW!" he groaned rubbing his head...
