Ick...never got to start FFIV.
I do believe that you fight a Lavos Spawn on top of the Mountain of Woe in CT.

Yay, I think I remember! *scratches head*
The monster you have to defeat in FF4 to get Kain's Holy Lance (or otherwise known as White in the SNES version... sweatdrop ) is Plague in the Moon's core...right? I think that's right... (that thing was a b*tch to beat, though..)
And the boss at the Mountain of Woe? ....hmm....um....I forget (it's been a while since I've played CT) for some odd reason, Magus pops into my head, but I don't think that's it... sweatdrop

Final fantasy : damn cant remember , but the other thing gives you ribbon Chrono trigger : I beleive it's name is Giga Gaia.
