Alexa's eyes widened with the thrill of motion. Although she could run quite fast - a gift from her mother, really - she had never felt the need to move this quickly. It was beautiful. Beautiful.
And it would only get better from here.

Vix frowned, but asked no more questions. She would certainly have been more angry with him if she had not already been worried about her hellion daughter.
"Alexa. Did she follow you and Alex out?" she asked, knowing even as she asked that the girl had not. "She was with me for a while. I thought she went to her room, but I just went to look and she isn't there."

Kirra stopped at the edge of town and strapped her scythe to her back. Then she grabbed Alexa and picked her up, holding her draped across her arms and said, "It will be much faster this way." Then she started running again, and it was faster without having to pull along Alexa and worry about her hitting anything.

Leon shook his head "i fear the worst for our daughter Vix...i don't know what went wrong....maybe its the haunt of the Evil that haunted my brother...." he looked down "there is nothing i can do this time i have no choice but too stay out of action"

Vix's eyes widened, and she shook her head. "No. Not Alexa. Leon, we've got to find her right away. It's not too late for her," she whispered. "It can't be."

Alexa opened her mouth to protest, but found that it really was faster. So instead of arguing and slowing the whole process down - after all, wasn't the idea to get out of town before her parents came looking? - she simply held on and gloried in the speed.
She loved motion. She loved running. And life was going to get better all the time from here on out.
"It's perfect!" she said, her eyes dancing as they raced along. "Perfect!"

Kirra grinned as the wind blew through her crimson hair. She felt the same as Alexa, the sensation of motion was perfect. They were already about five miles away from town and still gaining distance.

((OOC: I'm putting off homework I really need to do in order to be here. XD Also, my practice didn't take as long as I thought it would.
But since it's late, I'm exhausted, and I have to be up early, this is my last post.))
Alexa wondered in an absent sort of way whether or not her parents had realized she was missing yet. Whether her brother had noticed. She didn't think so.
Why would they? If they noticed that things were quiet, they'd probably just breathe a sigh of relief that she wasn't out scaring small children and all the rest of it, she thought bitterly. She didn't think anyone would notice her absence until morning.
She grinned up at Kirra, forgetting about her family for now. There were much better things to think about. Like the Immortality that she and her newfound companion were looking for.

Kirra grinned down at Alexa and said, "Soon we shall be at the desert, and then our search can begin, and I think I know where to look. The ancient ruins of the First Empire. It will take about two days for me to reach the edge of the desert, and two more days for us to reach the ruins of the Palace on foot, and one if I were to carry you further."

Michael flipped over the crazy girl with the chainsaw. Woah, did not see that coming! he thought, grinning. This definitely would be better than expected. He held out his bo staff again, and took out a dagger, aiming it for the girl.

Naomi looked over to Sora in confusion. "Why are you following me?" she finally asked as they returned to the street her apartment was on.
Sora shrugged. "Curious to see what you were doing."
"Oh..." Naomi murmured. "I should probably try this bow out. It's rather different from a crossbow."
Sora nodded. "Just don't bring in your matches."
At this, Naomi scowled. It wasn't because she wasn't allowed to use her matches, it was the fact that this girl also considered her a pyro. Well, she was, but she tried to resist temptation better than she used to. Shouldn't she get at least some credit?

the group had been in the desert for some time now and the heat was getting to them. Kray seemed like the only one still in any decant condition. "come on, the first village is just a head!" he called out and as the group made it to the top of the sand domes, a small oasis could be seen about a hour's walk away.
finally, water. Balon thought. he took glance at Kray. how can he still seem so unaffected by this heat?

Leon nodded at his wife "yes i agree but you'll have to take Alex my wound has been healed by Mathias" he didn't need to explain more that alone should have told Vix how bad the wound had been

Balon glanced at Kray and the same question popped back into his head. "ummm..." he began but was not really confortable asking. he took a deep breath and began again. "ummm, Kray, how do you...how do you still look so young. i mean...well...you did take part in the first great war so..." his voice trailed off.
Kray was slightly taken by surprize. "well, i guess that is a resonable question. to understand that, you have to know my past. as i told you, i was born in this desert in a hidden village. my village was guarding something secret but some how that information leaked. now a days, no one turely knows what the village was hinding except for me, but anyways, the word got around and herds of bandits rushed to the village to try and clame this object for themselves. we fought off many of them but eventually they broke through and among the chaos, i took that object and left. to this day, is till cannot use it to its full power. i have only scrached the surface but even this amount of power is a lot. that object was a sword forged by demon magic of old. the very one i carry now." he said resting his had on his sword.

Gurrin noticed the group of people walking towrds his village. As an instinct, he took his srowd out and made a fist in the other hand. Lightning sparked from his fist as he watched the group move closer. He waited for them to get close enough and he then threw the lightning bolt at the men and demaned them to stop moving.

Alexa nodded, all business. "It's better to take the two days, I think," she said with a little smirk. "I'll get lazy if I'm carried everywhere, and you never know what we might miss."
The First Empire, she thought, with a little breath of exaltation as she turned her head and stared at the road ahead.

Vix's eyes widened again, and she went rather pale. "He told you he could handle it himself," she said accusingly. Then she shuddered slightly. All this was almost too much for her to deal with all at once, so she forced her mind back to the problem. Mathias had healed Leon, but Alexa was still missing.
"Alex and I will start looking for her," she said at last. "How far could she possibly have gotten, after all?"
She went upstairs to wake her son.

Engela smiled a little at Aura, but under it she was still worried. There was something that Aura wasn't telling her, and she knew it. "Is there anything else?" she asked quietly.
Aura wanted to talk to her mother, who seemed to know much more than Aura had ever thought possible about this sort of thing. About the weird threads of magic in her own powers, and the whispering voice in the back of her mind. But just then, the voice itself spoke up, clear and piercing.
(tell her no)
Aura obeyed, as she always had. "No, Mom," she said. "Nothing."
