Just a personal observation here...
It seems that the three winners won by a large margin (over the honorable mentions) and they all occured on the first several pages.
It feels, to me at least, that all the judges did not throughly read through all the entires. I feel slightly dissatisfied by the results (although all the winners were certainly worthy).
Thats just my take on things though.

Congratulations to everyone in the short story division! I thoroughly enjoyed reading everyone's entries. But I have to say, there are a few writers who need to proofread a little more carefully, and pay attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation. For all writers, I love to proofread, just PM me with your story biggrin

Here goes nothing!:
Forever My Spring

Sun shines as bright as the fall leaves,
The bright colors of the fresh flowers.
The light breeze gradually touches my skin

For your beauty intrest me

That was probley the worst poem ever:/
