"No, but it would be a good sub target before the main one. Well, you'll see when we get to the top of the spire." He said, not needing to explain it here. Too bad this very spire would probably be destroyed even. Everything in the world would be. The world would be wiped from civilization and those who remained would be that new, perfect world.

Meshik fell silent again. He had gathered a plan, and he could pull it off with the right timing. For now he needed to conserve his energy. He needed to fire once.

Zen remained silent as well and continued up the steps.
A tornado of Angel feathers formed and dropped Seth to the ground, just outside the spire. Seth stood up and looked up the tower. Zen must be here then! Dammit, they must of got a good head start up the tower. He turned attention back to approaching soldiers of Zen's who were guarding the entrance to the spire. Seth didn't have time for this. He cut and hacked through every soldier in sight with his blade. "Meshik, do what you must for Zen, but do not do his main desire. My spying could no gather the information of what it is, but his main target for you Angel Eclipse power will destroy the world." He said, hoping Meshik was watching again. He then ran into the tower and looked for the staircase upwards.

Meshik silently agreed. No, he would not let Zen's ultimate target be struck. He wondered if Zen wanted him to fire straight down, towards the center of the planet. There's no way...right? Well, he was prepared for just about anything at that point. He was going to throw it all back at Zen, and he knew exactly how to do it.
He placed a hand on his chest. He contained the blood of the Angels, perhaps the same ones that helped fight Zen's army back eons ago. Was this what the old mage was hiding from him all this time?

Zen and Meshik were now past the halfway mark. "You're being awfully quiet. If I were you, I'd be excited to be the key to creating a new world." He said with smile, knowing Meshik would never be excited for such a purpose. Too bad he didn't approve of his new world. All his soldiers did and anyone with their eyes opened enough to see the world's corruption.
Seth finally found the staircase that led all the way up the spire. He sighed as he noticed how far up he had to go. He just hoped Zen hadn't reached the top yet.

Zen just laughed and continued on up. They were getting very close to the top now. "We're almost up. Be prepared for your purpose." He said, referring to getting his energy ready. Any creature that tried to attack them this high was fought off by Zen's soldiers.
Seth ran as fast as he could up the first few floors of stairs. He leaned against the wall and panted for a second or two. He then continued on upwards. He still wondered whose voice that was and who brought him here.

"Say what you will." He said as he continued towards the top. A few minutes later, they had arrived. The top of the spire. Zen looked at all of Verspya from his everlasting view. It was just like summoning the last Angel Eclipse except this time, he was firing from up here. He looked into the distance at Deralo Field. The war was still pushing and Deralo was getting stronger. "Now I want you to fire at Deralo Field or your friends will die." He threatened.
Seth sprinted up a few more steps. Dammit, he still wasn't even half way. He kept going though. He had too.

Time to try and put his plan in action.
Meshik stood in the middle of the large circular platform that overlooked the world. His arms were outstretched and his eyes closed for a moment.
When he opened his eyes, they were solid white. His large Angel wings appeared. A white magic circle appeared below his feet and raised him into the air about thirty meters up.
Meshik let out a tortured scream. The runes that seemed to just appear on his body were cutting into his flesh. Blood dripped from his hands and feet.
Holding the power of the Angel Eclipse inside his small body, Meshik targeted Deralo Field. However, he was targeting Zen's side. He wasn't told which side to prefer.
Bloody tears streaked down his face and the white magic shot from his body and the air around him, downwards and directly towards where Zen's army was.
He landed on his feet quickly. Still crying from damage, Meshik bolted for the edge of the platform to jump.

Zen grabbed Meshik's arm and tried to twist it back into a painful position. "You fool!" He screamed to Meshik as he knew where it was aimed. It would wipe out so much of his army while only causing minimal damage to Deralo.

"Ah!" Meshik's painful cry was more feminine. Then it switched over to his normal voice, "Y-You're the fool, Zen..." He said and spat out some blood.

Zen was actually almost startled by the feminine scream. He twisted his arm even more though before tossing Meshik to the ground. "This is just why the world is corrupt." He mumbled to himself. He gripped Meshik by the hair. "Be ready to make up for that little mistake."

Meshik's voice turned feminine for a sinister laugh, but went back to masculine for his voice, "You're the one who made the mistake. I wonder how many...Oh! Not many of your little pawns are left. Your 'perfect world' is not going to have a militia at this rate! And whoever was lucky enough to survive are starting to doubt your qualifications as a leader! This is too much! They think you are the one who fired on them and killed them!" He was laughing like he had gone insane. He couldn't feel any more pain than what he's feeling already. So what was left? Death? That made him laugh even more.
