Adriel went to the sink to clean his hand, but he stopped to listen to Bones, his eyebrow arched highly at this. Continuing, his hands cleaned away the blood from his finger tips before he went to put away the things from the medical kit. "....I am just fixing what I did...." He answer back softly as he put the kit in the cabinet again and rose up.
His eyes made contact with the ones of his foggy reflection in the misted mirror. Shaking his head at what he saw, he turned to Bones, giving a ghostly smile before shaking his head. "Why don't we move back to the mattress?"

Bones felt a weight in his chest at this, knowing that was true. But it bothered him that this man was just going through the motions of life. It wasn't compassion that forced him to patch up the rocket, so what was it? Eyes swirling a bit with thoughts, color started to return to them a bit.
"It's my fault you're ALL in this situation." Every chord in his voice reverberated the truth into the air. He tugged on the last shreds of turtleneck where his 'R' scar seemed to be burning at him. "So I'm sorry." Looking up a Cooper, apparently the 'chaperone' for the moment, he frowned. "I'll leave as soon as possible."

Adriel shook his head and laughed, out loud. "You caused nothing that could had been prevented. Everyone shares a blame in every event, sometimes some more then others, but we are quiet fair in this one." He sighed softly. "And you are not leaving, I caught you, you are under my foot. So, you will be staying until I give you the all clear. Your fluffball over there doesn't scare me and I have your sword. So make yourself comfortable and stop the pity fest."

Bones looked up a the man with a hardened look in his eye, one with a twist of bad temperament towards being restricted from something. His stomach twisted darkly at the thought of being helpless to defy the healer in anyway. Like a prisoner. What good would it do him if he stayed here longer? There was no benefit to caring for him. Just a bother to both parties. He was just like a mouse that was being toyed with by a cat. Entertainment he felt. Glancing away towards a random spot on the wall, he sat and waited for a moment before extending his less damaged arm to balance himself. Trying to pull himself up by grasping the edge of the sink, dizziness quickly set in and he stopped, lowering himself back to the floor. Great.
Cooper was now satisfied with the body temperature readings of both the human acquaintances. Ears perking up and tail wagging happily, he fluffed up a bit in his joy. They were both really starting to heal nicely. Backing from the doorway, he decided to let them out of the bathroom. Veil was standing there behind the dog. Leaning over the side of the doorway, she watched the two interacting for a moment in silence.

The man watched his 'captive's' expressions changing, and crystal eyes reflecting certain turmoils. He shook his head when Bones tried to rise to his own two feet. "Truly, if you go out now, you'll be wasting all my hard work by dieing." He picked up the man into his arms. in a less gentle way he had done before. "And that is certainly no way of saying 'thank you'." He turned about, arching a white eyebrow to the woman in the doorway before stepping out of the bathroom and going to the green house. Putting Bones down on the mattress, Adriel stretched out his arms and let out a yawn. "I am going back to bed." And with that, he left for his room.

With all the work that Adriel had done, Bones could feel the healers fatigue through his grip when he'd carried him back to the mattress. He was stronger than before it seemed, but needed rest from what the Rocket could tell. Also the slight hesitation in his steps showed this as well, as he paced back eagerly almost, in the direction of his room. Bones watched him go, and felt a bit of relief at both of them getting to rest.
Head flopping back onto the pillow with black hair fluttering into his face, a short huff let out all the anger that he had towards the man. For some reason, Bones didn't harbor any resentment towards him anymore. He was...something else. A warrior that healed people. He smirked a bit as he wriggled left and right into the mattress. If he'd been feeling better he'd have rathered to sleep on the floor...but his arm was begging otherwise. Letting his muscles relax he felt more at ease now, letting himself chill out. His eyes started to blur already with sleep, pulling at them.
Veil smirked as she trotted down the hall, followed by the arcanine. Bones was making a 'friend'. Before she made it to the end of the hall, Dr. Hart was already on his way back. Raising her eyebrow back at him as he passed, she wished that he'd actually rest, now that all was well.

Adriel ignore anyone he passed as he walked to his room, on the last hall there, he almost felt himself collapse all together, but he caugt himself against the wall for a moment. Groaning as his muscles yell under his weight, he felt all the pain from before hit him at once and he started to laugh softly. A soft sad laughter as he pushed himself into the room and close the door. His bones, his whole skeleton felt like it had been become made of ice and his muscles were made of fire itself. He felt the harsh edge of the air as he took it in and coughed from it. A week, a week before this one had been hell on earth. He had hoped for a few days of rest, but everything kept coming.
His vision blurred and he raised an eyebrow as he force himself to the bed and stared dumbfound at his medicine, in its little orange bottles. Taking out his dose from them, he swallowed them dry and stared at the ceiling, feeling some sanity coming back to a world that had been suddenly too bright, too colorful, where sound had been amplified and scents were stronger. where the blood he had seen had almost hypnotize him.
He thought for a moment back to the kiss and a little smile painted itself in his face. He would admit to himself that kissing someone while the effects of his pills vanished had been...well...rather more enjoyable then it should had been. At the same time, it had ridden him of what little of the pills effects had been still lingering. He had almost lost it. His purple eyes looked about as he lay down and wrapped up himself under the covers, sinking into the mattress that was too plush for his taste and into silk and satin covers that were too high class for him. He would prefer something else, under these covers, he could feel the dirt that was still on him, the blood that was caked and dry in so many places....he could feel the gentle fabric taunt each fault and scar. He growled to himself and just rolled into the covers, cocooning himself deep into the cooled texture that would heat up with his body warmth. Closing his eyes he let himself be taken over by exhaustion.

Bones brows knit together in pain everyso often, as his chest rose and fell methodically removing the bother in his body and mind. Taking into account his surroundings of a ballroom and his form laying on a bare mattress, the thin young man was quite dead to the world. His free hand draped to the side with his fingertips almost brushing the floor, a stark contrast to the other appendage strapped down to his torso to prevent any range of movement. Maybe it was true that he had long eyelashes, shown off especially when his eyes were shut, but it was a fact that the rocket never bothered to confirm.
Breath passing through his slighly parted lips at a controlled rate, Veil could almost see him healing. Smiling to herself, the joy spread to even a twinkle in her eyes. This whole situation had been bad from the start, but perhaps it was slowly spinning into something good. Regarding this for a moment, she relished it with a blink as she sat beside him on the makeshift bed once more. Her weight so light it almost made no change in the balance shared, she tilted over and tugged at the last piece of ribbed sweater around his neck. Almost through the fabric, she could feel the ebb the scar on his neck gave off.
His own little leash, that kept them from moments like this. Just the simple notion of knowing the other loved one was there beside the other...it was all taken away with one bad decision. Subconsciously baring her fangs a bit in a snarl, he hand withdrew poisonously. Veil's cheeks burned with hate, and she let the idea of waking him to share a parental lecture pass...but not without a small huff. Bones irked out a small content noise, and the woman considered this to be his 'thankyou.' Emerald eyes gliding over to spot the panting arcanine at the edge of the bed, she scratched under his chin for a moment with her small fingers. His tail thumped in glee, and she chuckled a melody of moods. Ah yes. When things were that simple.

Daniel walked back to the music room, this time followed by Faraon and Writer. Sitting down, he pulled his guitar into his lap and began playing a slow and soft tune. In many ways, he should be doing other stuff, but considering the situation, he prefer just to do this for now.
Faraon's ears twitched, listening to the tune, but eventually falling asleep like an old cat would. Writer, on the other hand, stared at the hand movement closely.

Veil blinked up at the nearest window and was shocked to see night falling already. Perhaps this was the reason behind her being so alert. Smiling to herself, she wrapped her arms around Cooper as far as she could as the fluff seemed to hug her back. Cooper heart was an amazing thing to hear, so vibrant.
Then the sounds of music accented the drum, and her head rose with long crimson locks falling to her shoulders. Smiling to herself she let a chuckle slip. That kid really was talented.

The few days passed without much ruckus from either injure man as the other two and the pokemon fell into an ease of routine. The wounded just slept happily, rarely awaken, rarely taken away from the blissful dreams.
Until today...
Adriel open his eyes slowly, looking about as the shadows of his nightmares were dismissed by the logic that was slowly settling in. His lips were dry and his throat was parch from the elaborated breathing. Slowly, very slowly, the mind become aware of the rest of the body and told it to sit up on the edge of the bed, which it did. Eyes looking tranquil as they roam the bedroom scene, while doing this study is when it hit him that he needed to piss. Giving a groan, as he had not want to just take upon his feet, he rose and shuffle with heavy steps towards the bathroom as the call to relieve himself become more urgent.
After attending his needs, he took a much needed shower, getting rid of the caked blood and dirt that he had not had a chance to until now. Taking his sweet time, he put his thought together as he bathe under the stream of barely warm water. Once out of the shower, he dry off his body and took the excess water from the white hair that now clung to him. Forsaking the towel to the floor, he stepped back out to the bedroom and search the closet for boxers.
[No, he doesn't have a towel on]

Veil was perched beside Bones on the mattress, still sewing away at her torn dress from days before, and was somehow throwing new life into the tattered item. Blood washed away and hung to dry in the kitchen the dress had just been really torn but other than that was still useable. She recalled the memory from yesterday and laughed…thinking of when the petticoat had fallen from the fridge top and landed on Dan’s head. That kid…she just smiled a little vampire grin to herself as her company stirred beside her. “Well, good morning.” She directed her gaze to the young man, a hint of amusement showing in her mouth.
Her ‘pleasant’ demeanor was met with a scowl and a groan of pain. Two days ago he’d run out of his pain killers, and it was amazing how quickly that killed Bones’ determination to leave immediately was crushed. The stiffness in his shoulder stirred him to sit up. Moving was easier now that his arm was properly strapped down…and as much as it pissed him off…he knew it would better him in the long run. But it also itched like hell.
Running a hang through his hair, Bones made a face that was the very definition of the word ‘ick’. Scowling, he slowly stood while his joints popped and cracked in protest. Making it to his feet, he started to stroll for the bathroom just beside the larger room they were residing in. That was his path for the past day or so, when he woke in alarm and worried about Veil. Literally had jerked himself awake in panic.
Bathroom, mattress, sleep. Perhaps the occasional food offered and turned down. It was a pattern…and his sleeping hours chained together was getting even more spotty than when he’d first lay down.
The rocket could only stand a bed, even a makeshift one for so long.
Pain that was now just a beating ebb was still a bother and distraction, reminding him of the injury’s existence. However, what was even more-so a bother on his mind, was that he was technically ‘M.I.A.’ on this mission…and it would compromise Veil further.
They’d come looking soon.
All this work…and only to be the one who led the bad guys right to her in the end. He’d never live it down…if they lived through it.
Punching at the bathroom wall in anger, he concentrated on his hand’s new pain before letting the thought go. He was leaving today, and that was it. Looking in the mirror, he quickly decided to wash his face while he was there. Each day, he’d gotten more of the blood back that he lost, and his examination of the place became more clear. Even of the dirt content of his face.
This place, didn’t fit that healer…..Adriel…was it? Bones let his mind wander and regard the man for a moment. Just the whole ‘indoor’ thing just didn’t seem to be his style. So why had Veil picked this place? Still, although he wondered, Bones let the thought go. The woman always knew what she was doing, most of the time. And it wasn’t worth his to doubt her. Pacing back, he reached down and grabbed at his sword. Veil and Cooper both blinked at him at the same time.
“You’re going to try to leave? Again?” She blinked at him. “Last time you collapsed on the way to the door.” The sudden activity from the man left her mildly surprised. Cooper noted this and hopped to his feet, immediately stretching out his legs. Bones had that look on his face, and she bothered him with no more questions.
Looking to her stitching, her eyes flickered knowingly, hearing stirring footsteps from a distant room. He was awake. Several days in this house and she’d become used to the creaks and groans of it…especially since there hadn’t been much to do. However it seemed like things were finally stirring to life once again in the manor.

Dressing in a pair of black boxers and pants and tying his hair back, the tall healer stepped out of his room to be met up by a grumpy persian. Chuckling, he petted Faraon gently before stepping further into the house. Giving another yawn, he gave to the little party of Bones, Veil and Cooper. His eyebrow arched.

Bones glanced at him coldly from over his shoulder, trying to seem like he'd not noticed the man, already healed back up for the most part. Turning away, he shifted his small bag of items and handed it off for Cooper to hold in his mouth. Perhaps if he didn't show the still bit of lingering fatigue, the man wouldn't say anything. The rocket was up for a fight mentally, but not in body. It was still yelling at him for the last time.
Veil smiled happily at the sight of the rested Adriel, and nodded to Faraon trailing at his heels. "Goodmorning." Her voice was bright sounding, but not overly. Welcoming. "Good to see you're well." It was almost idle chit-chat to fill the silence. There might still be conflict between the men before this was over.

Nodding his head towards Veil in greeting, his eyes stayed on Bones, like an Arbok waiting for its venom to take effect on its prey, taking details on the rocket's movement. He was a healer for creature that couldn't tell him what was wrong, and this rocket thought he could just passed by him.
He smirked as he continue watching, his persian sat down by him and gave a lazy yawn.
