Lokail grinned sadisticly as Mika dove into the water. He simply snapped his metal fingers, which sent a frequency that even Mika could hear underwater. He then looked left and right, and then walked over under a tree to take a little napsies. It always felt nice to rest in this lovely oasis. Even if the possibility of another few students was currently presenting itself. As Mika swam underwater, after a while she caught a glimpse of a shiny metal thing, after swimming closer it became obvious this was the coin, and Hikaru was floating lifelessly next to it. As she got close to Hikaru a shadow quickly darted behind him. She was obviously not alone down here.

The boy huffed for breath as the fire was still burning him. He slowly stood up and tried to hold his katana even tighter. He looked at Hikaru, and realized he had gone crazy. This boy had done nothing but fight without any tricks, and here this boy pulled out a damned fireball in a sword fight. And he was the dog with a tail between its legs? Yeah right... The boy huffed for more air, and let out a little grin. He always had wondered what it would be like to die in battle, and this was it. He charged for what would likely be his final strike.

(( 16 + 2 + 0 = 18 )) Mika dove down deeper after seeing Hikaru in the dim light. She kicked her legs to push herself in his direction. I really don't know how he's stayed down here for this long. As she continued to kick, Mika drew closer to her friend. But, once she was a few feet away, behind Hikaru she saw a an unidentifiable shape swim quickly by him. What the hell was that? Mika squinted her eyes to hopefully get a better look at the thing. Slowly, she swam up to Hikaru. The girl then reached her left hand out to shake him. Dannmit! Wake up! Mika then nudged him harder in his side.

Hikaru seemed motionless, though a heart beat could still be detected. As Mika looked through the blurry waters she could see two silver eyes glaring back at her. Suddenly she could make out what was the body of a very delicate serpent. It glared at Mika with eyes that seemed to scream one thing, food. As it looked at Mika it was obvious that it had no intention of either of its meals escaping.

Pretty much you roll, add dex, and whoever gets higher goes first ))

Hikaru took back the control of his mind in an instant. I know you mean well but just because he is weak that doesn't mean its ok to take control and pick on him. we could have easily beat him without the Gokakyu. perhaps your right I will be careful next time Hikaru's other self knew better than to disobey his master because Hikaru was in complete control over his mind and if the other Hikaru wanted to see daylight he wold do well to listen to hikaru. Now Im going to take control and swiftly end this kid's pain. its a shame it had to end this way but there's nothing that can be done now. all of a sudden the evil glare that had filled Hikaru's eyes had vanished and the kind Hikaru had returned. "Forgive my other self. he means well but he can be a pain sometimes. Fogive me for this but it looks like i must end your life." Hikaru said in his usual emotionless tone. as he lifted his blade in the air to deliver the final blow.
[attack roll=14+14+2=30. im thinking of making hikaru have a few different personalities. since he is usually emotionless(hides his emotions pretty well during battle) i was going to make like 2 more. the one that you just saw was anger obviously lol.]

Hikaru's blade came down with lightning speed and in one fluid movement he dodged the boy's final attack and severed his head from his body silencing his voice forever. "Forgive me." Hikaru said as he left the blood stained arena to face the kid calling himself his friend and obviously very mad about something. Hikaru was not sure what he was mad about but Hikaru was not in the mood to take another life so he just got ready to take an earful of noise and useless dribble.

(( Danmit,.. lol )) Mika's eyes widened looked those of the serpent. By it's placement on its face, she could tell it was a predator. The girl treaded water trying to stay afloat. Her eyes darted to her unconscious friend, then back to the serpent. She, nor her friend where going to be its prey today. Mika's only option was to engage the animal. She didn't know of its strength, but it didn't matter. Today wasn't going to be her last day.

The boy slowly dropped to his knees, and then to the floor. The crowd was silent for a moment, but then roared and cheered. Amidst all the screaming and clapping Hikaru's friend climbed up onto the arena and ran over to him grabbing him in an embrace.
You did it! Haha there were so many bets against you! But you did it! We're Mercenaries now! It's grea- Once again white noise took over the scene. And once again he faded back to reality. He could feel life leaving his body, however through blurry eyes he could also see his team mate Mika, swimming towards him, trying to wake him up.
White noise again, this time they were in a crowded small gipsie like city. There were tents everywhere, and Hikaru's friend was sitting besides him, tending to a cut on Hikaru's shoulder. This is screwed up, three more of us are dead. It looks like you might have to lead are group Ru-ru. Do you think you'll be able to?

Hikaru sat up and winced as he felt the pain in his shoulder. he was entirely unsure of what was going on. "Wh..What happened. the last thing I remember was exiting the arena after I...Took that kids life." Hikaru said with a somewhat remorseful tone in his voice. "regardless of what happened so far if I am required to lead a group then I shall lead them to victory." Hikaru looked down to see the cuts he received in the arena were almost completely healed. Whats going on. Hikaru thought to himself as he tried to think. Mika, Lokail. that's right I'm at the bottom of a pool of water right now this is a genjutsu. and an extremely powerful one at that. I guess there's no point in trying to get out of it if it's Lokail's doing.

The serpent opened its mouth and let out a watery hiss, immediately shooting out at him with serpentine like speed. It darted to within a few feet of Mika. Up close it could be seen the creature was somewhat small, only around five feet long, and less then a foot wide. Though also you could see it's five inch dagger teeth, and although Mika was no expert, it was obvious that this was a delicate animal, but a decent hunter. However instead of opening with it's usual tactics, it instead snipped at Mika, hoping to test her reactions.

The serpent started for her, though by its slow speed it wasn't bound for a full on attack. It drew closer through the murky water and bore its teeth in her direction. Danm! Those are long! It came closer to her by the second. Its wide mouth opened and snapped at her like a trap. Naturally, she jerked her hand back close to her body. I shouldn't let that thing get behind me. The girl flailed her arm's and legs to the left as it passed her. Keeping her eyes on it at all times. This nameless thing wasn't going to get her. She would kill it before that. Mika threw her clenched fist out into the water towards the limbless creature. However, her attack did not reach its target. It simply maneuvered its way around it.

His friend rose an eyebrow as he watched Hikaru. Obviously once again he had made an odd statement.
Eh? You've taken a lot of kids lives, it's sort of what we do, remember? The arena? If you're talking about our initiation that must have been years ago... Besides the point! We were lead into a trap by our employers. We're currently being hounded by dogs and shinobi. We're somewhere in Kusa right now. We need a plan to get out of this. You have me, a medic nin, three muscle people, and some kid whose alright with Ninjutsu. So, what is the plan? He looked at Hikaru with very expecting eyes. It was obvious that this team was going to be putting a lot of faith on him, after all it was all of their lives on the line here. Come on Ru-ru! Oh fearless leader, i believe in you!

The snake wiggled around Mika's fist with ease. It hissed once again as it's hollow gleaming eyes stared at the young girl. It was obvious that Mika was our of her element underwater, and the serpent was clearly in it's. Once again it swam around Mika, now trying to bite her leg. It figured that if it could pull the girl deeper, then she would just end up drowning instead. It snapped at Mika's right leg, with hope in its silver eyes.

Easing maneuvering away from her attack, the sea animal glided through the water around her. After a moment of simply slowing in the water, the serpent came at the girl again. Not just snapping this time, but with aim. It came from her left side and dived down towards her right leg. Repeatedly opening and closing its mouth filled with long, sharp teeth. 'Yikes', the girl thought as she lifted her leg up from its path. 'Why's it getting darker?' Mika took a quick look at her surroundings and them up from the hole where she dove from. It was slowly getting farther away. There was a moment of slight panic. The girl waved her arms around trying to get closer to the surface. She knew the serpent would try to attack her as she ascended, so she kicked at the thing with her left leg while using her arms to get higher up. She then shot a glance at Hikaru, still lifelessly still in the water. 'Please hold on.'
