"Absurd indeed," the warlock replied with a chuckle. "The Tanar'ri of the Abyss and the Baatezu of Baator have been engaged since the dawn of time in an endless conflict known as the Blood War."

"which validates my dislike of you, warlock but we are guests here and it would probably be a bad idea to kill you. I wouldn't want mistress aglo to not trust my intentions."

She walked around the the around the castle, and memorized every little step, there was interesting places she wold check out later, she then quickly went walking very gracefully to right before the head mistresses office, through the whole time she was walking any one could see she was of high office, her grace surpased most, her beauty was great. she sat in a chair right out the headmistress office. taking a spell book out of her purse, it was he one she had been reading through her time. she was reading in a beautiful post, it was obvious she was trained in grace and trained in the ways to look the most beautiful when she was doing anything. even though she was a b***h it was her birth right as a future matron.

As Aglo lied there, panting and still trying to recover from all the foreign, hellish energy that broke through her defenses, she heard a silent knock on the door. A deep sigh escaped her blue lips, as she slowly stood up. Straightening her figure, and trying to look as good as always. She wouldn‘t allow herself to be seen like this. Showing weakness in this place was dangerous.

When done, she took a quick glance at the scrying bowl from before, still having water in it, but no spell to make it work, Aglo used it as a primitive mirror to make sure, she was ready to show herself.

With that done, she approached the door and opened it. Seeing Nereid on her doorstep she was quite surprised. As she looked behind the girl, she saw another, unfamiliar person to her eyes. A young, beautiful drowess, reading in front of her office door, ignoring all the world surrounding her.

„Well this day keeps getting better and better...“
Aglo thought to herself, and focussed her eyes back on Nereid.

„Hello, Nereid. Something you wanted to talk about?“

Through the main hall a dim light flickered, accompanied by heavy, defiantly not Drow footsteps. They echoed through the main hall of the academy, along with the deep breaths of a human male. His face was very dimly illuminated by the pipe he was smoking, revealing a scraggly beard on his tan face, a result of not shaving for some time. For whatever reason he had absolutely no trouble making his way through the nigh pitch darkness of the Underdark, not even needing the faint light of the occasional fairie fire illuminated pillar or torch to guide him on his path. For him, all he needed was his magic to guide him, and a lengthened true seeing spell did just the trick to pierce the darkness. For him, it might as well have been the middle of the day. Reaching one large hand up, he took the pipe from his mouth in his hand, and exhaled a plume of smoke, the dim flicker of the burning tobacco in his pipe dimming as it burned the last couple of leaves. With a sigh the man tapped the still lit pipe on the back of his hand, the burning cinders and ashes from inside the pipe leaving smudges and smears on the back of his hand. Cringing slightly as he brushed the back of his hand off, the man tucked his pipe into the inner fold of the black vest he wore, the bulge hardly showing against his built frame.

"It's been far too long" he told himself quietly as he walked, pacing along slowly, not in any real hurry to make his way to the offices of whomever was in charge of this academy of magic. He had neglected in his research of the headmaster, or headmistress, of this particular academy, and for that he was not proud. He usually always did his looking up of important people he wanted to meet, but this time it had slipped his mind, as he was more excited with his return to the Underdark. You see, it had been nearly fifty years since this seemingly young human practitioner of the arcane arts had 'graced' the Underdark with his presence, and even then he had only studied in Menzobarran for a few years. However the itch to return had finally gotten to him, and packing a small bag the spellsword had set off on a whim in pursuit of the knowledge held deep within the earth, within the libraries and minds of not only the drow, but any and all who inhabited this bleak place. Running a gruff hand through his hair, the man stared straight ahead, his blues eyes fixated on the largest door at the opposite end of the main hall. It had to be the room of the person he wanted to speak to, for it would be them who could tell him of the information he sought. Doing his best to smooth down his nearly bedhead like hair, the man then adjusted the cuffs of his white dress shirt, worn under the his vest, to make sure he was indeed presentable. Combined with his black dress pants, he really did have the look of a human nobleman, just without the haughty attitude and actual position. He was naught more than a spellsword now, come to ask a few questions in hopes of some answers.

"Aaand here we go" he said, to nobody in particular, as he approached the door. For a final touch, he adjusted his belt, as it was chafing him after having walked for such a long distance. His saber idly swung back and forth as he slid his belt to and fro, till the buckle lay squarely in the middle of his pelvis. He was a might bit worried that he was walking in armed, but he had heard nothing to state that he could not walking in bearing with him his saber, so he opted to keep it on him. One never knew what dangers awaited them in any city of the drow, after all. Raising a hand, he would knock deftly on the door of the headmaster/mistress, not saying anything for fear of confusing the gender or position of the person for whom the door he was knocking belonged to. For all he knew he could be knocking on the door of the dormitory, or a classroom door. He hated being clueless, and under his breath he hoped he had made the correct choice. It had never occurred to him that not across the way people were conversing near another one of the many doors, and in reality, he was knocking foolishly on the absolutely wrong door. In fact, he was knocking on the library door, and probably looked rather stupid for doing such. At this rate, nobody would ever believe he was a spellsword of amazing capability.

Reivan apparently no longer being part of the conversation with the warlock and the daemon, heard the knock. wondering why in the abyss someone would knock on a library door, He walked over and opened it. Almost immediately he reacted, "Human!" HE lept back a few feet and quickly pushed his sleeves up for better access to the blotches on his forearms. the runes on his ring glowing softly in anticipation.

Slowly Shdw rises up from a shadow between two figures his cloak flowing around him as if it were alive. Taking a quick second to scan the area his crimson eye glowed faintly, seeing Reivan and a human. "Well ain't this a surprise." Glances to Reivan turns his attention to the human. "I doubt he poses a problem my friend. But..." Tilting his head a bit looking at the human with his white newly acquired eye. "...I wouldn't underestimate him."

The man wasn't at all surprised when someone quite nearly jumped out at him, waving his arms about and shouting the obvious. In fact not only was the man not in the least bit intimidated, but he was embarrassed. He could not help but cover his face with his palm in a symbolic act of his sudden realization.

He had picked the wrong door.

Smoothing his vest down once more with his hands, the male human payed no mind to the second person who popped out of the shadows, rather, he opted to focus solely on the being that came out from the door he had tried.

"Excuse me" he said in a polite tone of voice, one belonging to what many might consider a gentleman. "But I think I've made a mistake. You see I'm looking for the one in charge of this academy, would you happen to know which door was theirs?" he said calmly, cocking his head slightly to the side. Though, perhaps speaking the common language of man was not enough in this case, as many he had met that wandered the Underdark had never bothered to learn it.

"Uhhh, F'sarn ghil pholor fol scholarly chaon, ka dos gumash simply k'alf uns'aa ulu l'ventash'ma d'nindol tier breche ol orn'la tlu zhennu." he said, knowing full well that he had forgotten a few of the words and simply substituted words he did know in their place. He never said his linguistics skills had been perfect.

"I heard you clearly the first time human" he replied warily, "as for the headmistress, you'll have to get in line, it seems she has quite a few visitors today."

The man gave a curt nod, followed by a swift turn of his head to scan the area around him. Not surprisingly, not a few doors over, he saw another group engaged in conversation. "That must be it then" he though to himself, turning his head back to the one he was currently speaking to.

"My thanks sir." he said, turning swiftly on his heel and heading promptly off. He really didn't mind waiting, but it irked him to end that he had foolishly knocked on the wrong door. Good thing only one person other than he knew about it, right? Regardless he knew where he was going now, and narrowing his focus on the headmistresses door he would slowly amble his way on over, stopping far enough away to be out of polite earshot. Sure, he could still hear them, but he wasn't going to hover over the group while they were talking about things he was likely not privy to hearing.

"And so the wait begins" he said to himself, reaching back into his vest to pull out his pipe. Fishing around a little bit more the spellsword also came back with a small box of tobacco, which he fumbled with for a moment before he stuffed a bit of the fragrant leaves into the opening of his pipe. Stuffing the pipe between his teeth, he then went on a patting search to see if he could find his box of matches, which apparently was nowhere on his person. He must have dropped them somewhere along the way here, curse it all. Thinking for a moment he set his focus on his pipe and, like -magic- the leaves sparked into flame. Content with his lit pipe, the man would simply wait until he could get a moment of the headmistresses time.

"That is correct my friend my Matron has her house on a short leash mainly myself. But i do have ways around that." Turns to Reivan but making sure the human was still in sight. "And my reaon for being here is to make sure a young lady is doing well since I brought her here. Other then that I tend to help out around here when I am able." His voice was abit deeper and his energy around him has changed since he last saw his brother in arms. "And about you my friend whatbrings you here?"

"Business, for both myself and... a client of high standing back home." he said with a shrug, "m'lord Zehir bids me to establish a branch of the guild here and to make contact with the ranking priestess of lolth." Reivan glanced around and brought his voice low. "but it seems this city is undergoing a serious shift, from what I can gather, and extradimensional goddess has recently entered this realm along with several other daemons." he mothioned to panthera behind him, "All I know so far is the name, Uoe. If it helps you can pass this along to Matron Eclavice, it may help improve your standing with her."
