There was a new kid in band who moved in the middle of concert season. Hes amazing cause he can play every instrument (and percussion) except the clarinet, trombone, and tuba. The dude only been there for a month and hes already named the pit's section leader.
Anyways...he liked me and I liked him, and we started going out most of my freshman and sophmore year. That is until I had to move...again.
He would be a junior like me this year, but he decided to skip a grade, and now hes a senior. I know...it sucks.
Its weird...we're four states away from each other and Im still thinking about him. Very...strange...
(btw we dont talk anymore...)

lol well seeing as marching is required if you're in the band program (unless you have health problems), and every guy i've ever liked has been in band...hahahaha yeah, lets see, used to like the now-french horn section leader like 4 years ago, have liked sousa/clarinet/bass clarinet/tuba/bari sax-ist since...forever ago haha, used to like the now-trumpet section leader (yeah he's a d*****bag...) now the...i suppose second-in-command trumpet (who totally doesn't go with trumpet stereotypes at ALL unlike the rest of the section in my band haha)

I have a crush on the first chair trumpet. My brother is first chair tenor sax and band president and I doubt the guy I like even knows me as anything other than the presidents lil sis.

Oh, god, where do I begin? Haha. I'll start from the beginning. (I play tuba)
1st band crush and boyfriend was on a clarinet player. We dated on and off again for 3 years. It was a tumultuous relationship, and we have ended on bad terms. He was and still is a jerk.
2nd band crush was on an alto sax player from a rival band. He turned out to be gay.
3rd band crush was one of my drum majors. He helped me get over my relationship with my 1st crush/boyfriend. I had feelings for him at the wrong time because the same day I was going to tell him how I felt, he just got a girlfriend.
4th band crush was on a bass clarinet player I met at a summer music camp in Michigan. We danced together. Never saw him again after camp.
5th band crush and boyfriend was a euphonium player who was a friend of mine. The relationship didn't last very long, but we're still good friends.
6th band crush was on a french horn player I met in college. He had a girlfriend, so I was friend zoned.
7th band crush and current boyfriend is a bassoon player. When I first met him at a band meeting, we were supposed to introduce ourselves to new people, so I went up to him, but I was "miss hyper, ask 2,000,000 questions", so I think I scared him at first. XD He was so shy! A few months later, he joined in on a conversation I had with some friends, and it turns out that he was a big Black Sabbath fan like me. We talked for two hours and asked for my number. We've been dating for a very long time, and I love him. <3

Yeah.... he's taken and basically doesn't know I exist. I mean we've met multiple times but he's the popular nice guy that every girl wants. It would have to be a Cinderella story. sad

It's a guy who graduated in 2016 -- he was a drum major, and a widely-known one, too, mainly for his academic prowess -- and he's a sophomore in college now, but he came back to the HS to be the marching director. Volunteering, I suppose. I remember going to a few games before HS and watching him conduct -- I'm in 10th grade, so he graduated before my freshman year -- and I was just awestruck at how GOOD he was. He had this intensity about him, a seriousness that I really admired. He was very assertive, and it was obvious that he was intelligent. Then, somehow, during band camp, the vague admiration blossomed into a really weird attraction. ... confused

heart heart I have a crush on a guy in my band and we both play trombone but he's in grade 9, I'm in grade 8. I really shy so we never really talk unless its some joke about me playing a solo (ITS HAPPENED TWICE whee ) and we sit next to each other in 2 bands out of the 3 at our school and we are the only trombonists in one of them bands and my friends say he is ugly BUT I DONT THINK SO and he is smart and he has a good sense of humour and he is really good at music and HE ACTUALLY ISNT A JERK HE IS REALLY NICE and... ok I'll stop now sweatdrop
Whoops, just read that this is about marching bands... I'm just talking about school bands lol

Last year, when i was a freshman, I dated a junior who played trombone. I'm in colorguard, and my friend was, too. We both liked this dude and he liked the both of us. Since this guy was my brother's friend and we knew each other slightly, she told him to ask me out, so we did and we dated for two months. But he kept being an a** and told me he liked her more so I broke it off between us and yeah. I don't have much contact with either now.
Anyways, I like this guy in drumline who is in the same grade as me and aaaa I don't know what to do because we're not the best of friends but we're.. um.. pals? I guess? Idk?
