When Serena looked back at the two again, they had become transformed into completely different people. The girl with the pretty blonde hair had disappeared, along with Shinichi-sensei. In their places were a strikingly pretty girl, as well as some short kid with dark purple dreadlocks that rested his on head and face. Both of them were quite pale, the boy's looked even close to white. The genin also noticed that their eyes were quite out of the ordinary, as well...one of them had piercing yellow snake eyes--'Oh...it's him..' And by him, she meant the boy that she had really formed a slight disliking to because of the horrible, teacherous, clever little personality that he had.
It was then that the Raiken decided to turn her head to the stranger, the one she had never met before. Serena even felt a bit envious towards the girl, for she was quite beautiful, to tell the truth. But then again, this girl must spend more time on her looks than on anything else. "Hi~Uhh..ohh, ok." The genin was unsure of what to say, for the approach was a bit sudden, and the Hyuuga had already walked to the Uchiha, and then run off. It really wasn't until Kanami confronted the guy that she made her first judgement on the girl. A little bit, flirty, no?

The boy listened to the diva’s words about his pastry and whatever else her mouth decided to blabber about. His gold eyes barely took in her leaving and the natural way her body yearned to pull the hearts and loins of her male peers. Yet this was not what concerned the serpent youth. He was more interested in the new person that arrived. A familiar face, but he could not put his finger on it. The person’s name, and with that the acknowledgment of their existence, was at the tip of his tongue. “Those grey eyes... This person was cunning one... Her name did it begin with an S…” the serpent youth thought. He did not feel any liking to this person, although one could say it would be hard to find anyone that Shisei liked. Yet there wasn’t a total abhorrence for this one like the others. Where was it that he had met this person again? Memories of the past should remain lost in the past, yet a memory always wants a place in the present. What bothered Shisei more was this person was at the tip of his tongue to realizing who they were. It may take a while more for the serpent youth to learn of this person though. For now he would have to leave and find Yuki. The woman was pivotal to his increase in strength no matter which direction he went. At least for now. Not planning on staying long Shisei went to the rock where Kanami was to pick back up his fan. Fenghuang came off of his shoulders sometime during the training. The boy looked at the gold tessen checking its design. He unfolded the giant fan quickly allowing it to reach its maximum span. He would also need to train with this too. After he saw Yuki.

Sukotto's lips formed into a warm and welcoming smile as he saw Serena approach the populated area of the cliffs. He had been quite hasty when requesting that she join his team earlier that day, and he felt that that would have been enough of a reason for the girl to reject his request to be on his squad. In addition, the chuunin had mistakenly commented about the girl graduating in the most recent genin exams, when in fact, she had been a genin for quite some time, and he hadn't realized the mistake until he saw her approaching the cliffs. "Oh don't be sorry, I should be the one apologizing for my rudeness earlier in the day, and you aren't late by any means." Before he could continue, the Uchiha was interrupted by the Hyuuga temptress and her finger that gracefully slid along his chin, sending warm shivers down his spine. Having trained all day long, Sukotto couldn't have afforded to spend any more chakra on his defenses against her assault on his senses, so he simply allowed it to breach his will on this occasion. His eyes trailed after the girl, but only until she had passed him. After that, it was back to business for the chuunin. "I didn't mean to be so rushed at the mansion, but I was in a hurry to get to all of the members of the squad before they wandered off or got involved in a task that would prevent me from asking them if they wished to join up." One down, one to go. "Something that I regret even more was the statement that I made about you graduating yesterday. I know this to be false, and since you've had a lot of experience as a genin, you were one of my top candidates for squad mate selection from the very start. It was a silly error that I made in my hurry to round up the squad and I am truly sorry for it." With that said, Sukotto decided to get the final and potentially most challenging part of his team building task done and over with. "Now if you'll excuse me for just one more moment, I must attempt to secure our final member of the squad."
The Uchiha then turned and took the dreaded steps towards the dread-locked boy. A flurry of strategies flowed through his mind as he opened his mouth to speak. "Orochi Shisei, I have a proposal for you." It was in Sukotto's personality to start things formally and then warm the conversation by continually making it less formal. "I have been tasked with a mission and it requires me to form a team of shinobi. Having observed the abilities of many of Shimagakure's shinobi, I have chosen to request that you join us." Now it was time for the Uchiha to make the offer sound more favorable for the Orochi, which he had been planning on doing from the start. "In exchange, I will train you in whatever you desired to be trained in." And finally, it was time to bring up the final burden that the Orochi genin would have to endure. "However, as a requirement of being on my squad, I will be training you in areas that will also benefit the team as a whole while making you individually stronger as well." Sukotto felt as though he couldn't have presented it in a way that would have been more enticing than that. At that point, it was all in the hands of Orochi Shisei. "I know we haven't had the greatest experiences in our past, but I assure you that I will assist you in becoming one of the finest shinobi in this village. So what say you, Orochi Shisei?"

The gold weapon closed back up quickly and the cold youth strapped it back onto his back. Enough time was being wasted. Before his frame could turn around and begin its tread to the house of Tenmoki his name was spoken aloud. At the speaking of his name his head pivoted with a glare for a brief second before he realized it was a shinobi in higher ranking. He still needed to keep manners to the superiors despite his true feelings. A face returning to deadpan, Shisei listened to what the Uchiha had to say. Obviously the request would befall him. He is… was the best… Either way the snake child was not sure how to answer. While the offer was enticing to get someone to teach, Shisei had come to learn something about the generation above. They were unreliable. Yuki’s daughter, her so called foster son, the woman with the lion, Kanami…. They were undependable as much as his peers were trash. There was only one genin, probably now chuunin, who was actually a slight help. Shisei only realized this after all the years now. Still it did not motivate his mind to join a team. “What can you teach me that another chuunin could not? Or even Yuki or the Kage? Also who else is a part of this squad you want me to join?” the other members was also another big thing. The boy was planning to somehow ask Yuki or the Kage if he could just get solo training and missions. Like all adults in his life though there was always the greater percentage they would not comply with his wishes. If so then what type of squad would he need to join up with? The boy had no preference of people, because they were all the same in his eyes. However there were certain types that he would need to take into account. Like two years previous when his frame was chained to the two weights on the Tategami grounds. What if it were them again? Or perhaps others he had come to detest. Teamwork was something that Shisei still did not need a use for.

Feeling a bit more relaxed now, Serena smiled at the Uchiha's apologies. He seemed to be a very nice and hardworking person. "Oh, it's perfectly fine~I knew you were in quite a hurry to finish up some other important business. Go ahead, I'll be waiting." The Raiken was expecting the chuunin to turn and leave the cliffs in order to recruit the final member or their team, but to her surprise, he didn't. 'Wait, what's he doing?' She watched as he began to take heavy steps towards the serpent like boy nearby. ....not him.
Serena eyed the chuunin carefully as he approached the golden eyed boy. She knew he was going to reject. She just knew it. 'Oh don't say he's gonna ask him...'The Uchiha would only be able to get that stubborn headed boy to join if there was something useful in it for himself. But maybe he would know how to talk. He was a chuunin, after all...and related to the first Kage. His communication skills were probably quite exceptional, to say the least. It wasn't really this matter that made Serena slightly worried, though. It was the fact that it might take a little bit of work to get their teamwork to any decent level, for this guy was a selfish and rude person--that it, unless he changed any over the years. But the Raiken seriously doubted that fact. '..this might not turn out good.'
And yes. The Uchiha proceeded to consult the boy about being apart of the squad. She couldn't hear everything, but she was close enough to know that the offer had been presented. Oh, well she would just have to attempt to cooperate with whoever was on the squad. Serena heard the boy--whose name continued to escape her mind--answer, but did not know whether it was a yes or no. She tilted her head to get a better look, and smiled at them, just in case they were going to look over at her. It wouldn't be polite to have a frown on her face.

A grin spread its wings across the Uchiha's face, 'Finally,' Sukotto silently thought to himself, 'something to work with.' "Well most of the other chuunin have been subject to the teachings of the academy, whereas I have not. In addition, that tactless woman and the kage, while no doubt each powerful in their own right, have subjected the youth of Shimagakure to the academy." With that said, Sukotto quickly followed up with his point. "Since I've arrived in Shimagakure, I've pretty much trained myself to become the shinobi that I am today, and I believe myself to be strategically more powerful than any of the other chuunin on this island, with the exclusion of that new Hyuuga girl, as I haven't seen her full power yet." Since it was quite a claim to make, Sukotto decided to back it up with a supporting fact. "In order to complete the creation of my original taijutsu style, I tasked myself with sparring against a shinobi in a taijutsu-only fight." The Uchiha would have to step out of character for a moment with his words, as he hated talking highly about himself, but the point had to be made in order for the Orochi to see why it would be beneficial to join Sukotto's squad. "Instead of fighting one shinobi of equal rank, I ended up fighting two, per request of one of them. The pair are a very solid team and have hard hitting taijutsu, a combination that makes them quite a lethal force. In the end, I had managed to disable one of them, and caused the other to erupt into a frenzied assault, which I easily avoided. To my knowledge, no other chuunin would be capable of coming out on top against those kinds of odds, not even the fabled Tenmoki Aya" Sukotto raised an eyebrow while looking at the boy before him. It was easy to tell that the snake-youth was proud of his own abilities and the Uchiha would have to live with the fact that the younger shinobi could in fact turn his offer down. "However, if you wish to ignore that and return to the cliche regiment that will lead you where it has led every other ninja in this village, be my guest. You may be a favorable candidate for my squad, but the others at your level are just as capable of being helped along by me to become truly powerful shinobi." Sukotto realized just how important relations within a squad were, and he was a little happy to find that the Orochi actually had a bit of interest in who he would be paired up with if he joined the team. "As for the members of the squad, the only confirmed member so far beyond myself is Raiken Serena, and as I'm sure you've noticed, she's already arrived. The other teammate may show up briefly if they have decided to join, as I presented them with the same option as you, and I assure you that they are beyond competent. If they do not show, then I will merely select another candidate to ask. So Orochi, Shisei, will you be part of my squad? Take it or leave it."

As the Uchiha marked his reasons the serpent youth calculated each one in his mind with the unnatural way of percentages. Both the Kage and Yuki were strong, but it is true that he would be treated no differently. After all he was a member of the race of warriors that exterminated the past leader. If anything they would more inclined to give him the bare minimum and allow the other students to surpass him. Malice was something that could bleed from generation to the next. If Shisei was the only one that their hate could be taken out against who says they wouldn’t? “He had the confidence to say that he was the strongest chuunin and yet at the same time humble enough to not put himself above Kanami…” the Orochi taught. Regardless of his feelings towards her behavior, Shisei always thought of Kanami as the strongest within the older generations. She, in a way, was his standard of excellence. In terms of fighting anyways, but that was something he’d never let her know. As the male continued his explanation it jogged the serpent’s memory of times past. “Yes… that time…”. He did face off against the woman and her lion and succeed. This also meant that under his training he could defeat the peer who also had a lion if need be.
When Sukotto mentioned Tenmoki Aya it was then that the boy returned to his original thinking of Yuki. “Aya… the most fabled of her class… yet the false brother does not seemed to be fabled… “. Was this more favoritism for the blood lined daughter? But of course. Shisei was not surprised. It must be difficult to love an adopted child as much as your own. Perhaps even impossible. Hence why it is Tenmoki Aya that returned from the Orochi War and not Orochi Seshiro. The ideas that were long planted in his mind since just before his mysterious departure during the Meho war was finally beginning to take root. “Two… years. Two years… and nothing. Even if I’m stronger than the rest of the trash, what is the point without jutsu? Even now… Yuki’s new brats have probably learned more than I. No matter what she’d never teach me more than them. They will learn techniques that no one else can while I shall be stuck with the mediocre jutsu that everyone learns. That is fact in which Aya and Seshiro have proven…” The calculating maverick did not pay attention about him finding someone else on his level. As far as Shisei was concerned all his other peers were trash. A nasty clump of ants supporting their each others' broken limbs. When he stated the name of Raiken Serena though and gave a nod to grey eye teen not far behind. Now his mind remembered who she was. The one from the forest. The one who always was trying to spy on the academy class, but was always caught.
She stood smiling back at the two of them which made the snake’s brows curve downwards. "Why are you smiling in this direction?" the austere snake questioned. Even if Serena became target of the boy's irritation and glare, majority of its origin was due to Sukotto. Shisei was a boy whose mind was rational. Irrational choices always made confusion. It made people hypocrites and liars. At the same time Shisei was still a child and his selfish mentality of being ‘right’ did not like to be even merely wrong. For the boy to agree with everything the hazel eye boy said would mean that his initial presumption of the rude boy may partially be wrong. This also meant that the boy’s logic was not flawless. That at the moment irritated him the most. Stepping past Sukotto to face the taller teen… kunoichi. She had a headband to prove she was already a shinobi. Even though his mouth was hidden behind the brown jacket his voice was still audible. “Raiken Serena is it? Tell me this. Why did you join his squad? Also I want a reason from you of why I should join?” the cunning serpent said. His decision was 74.971% made up, but depending on sly smile’s answer that could change everything. Of course there was an ulterior motive to this question, but that was left for only Shisei to know.

For some reason, Serena had already saw it coming. The serpent boy was being all inquiring and annoying as his usual self. He obviously hasn't changed a bit personality wise, and neither had his eyes. They were still the same bright golden orbs that she had stared at two years ago many times before. The sight always kind of creeped her out, for it wasn't really normal to have a person with large snake eyes staring back at you, but it wasn't enough to make her scared this time. "What? Am I not allowed to smile when I like?" His question just made her grin bigger. It was natural for her to annoy him back. Now the serpent's other questions? She had to take more time to carefully pick out her words. This was an important matter, after all. The Uchiha wanted him on the squad as well, and even though she really didn't like him that much, it wasn't really her say.
"Yep, that's my name. And to answer your question, I joined because Shinichi-sensei is a bit busy in his duties as Kage to train our squad for now and I can learn and strengthen myself so much by accepting this offer--I have nothing much exciting to do, anyways." Serena paused and thought for a moment. "And why should you join?" Hopefully, she knew this guy's personality well enough for her to say this... "How about why you shouldn't join? You shouldn't join because that gives me an advantage in improving myself much faster than you with this Uchiha's help. If you joined, well then, you'd probably end up becoming just as strong as I am and even more than that, knowing your intelligence. You do know he had been trained by the greatest shinobi in all of Shima, the first Kage, no? I mean, you're smart enough to think about it. You will lose more than you will gain by declining this offer." The Raiken was pretty much taunting the boy now. But you know, positivities never affected a person as much as the negative facts did. Like when you're running a race. You have the positive motivation to do well and beat everyone else, but you'd probably have both a ton more motivation and pressure to defeat the others if you knew you would have to do a thousand push-ups if you didn't win.
Serena knew the serpent boy was ambitious. He seemed like the kind of person who absolutely despised everything and anyone he knew, and was a selfish person who only sought personal gain and power. She really questioned whether or not she was saying the right thing to the boy. Hopefully her words would help in persuading him to come to the squad. After all, the Raiken could put up with him...maybe.

Sukotto raised an eyebrow as the Orochi turned his attention to the Raiken, an action that he hadn't anticipated. This unexpected turn of events, though relatively insignificant, showed the Uchiha that he would always have to be on guard while leading his squad to the Bird Country. If the team fought an opponent who was at his level or higher, then he would always have to watch out for the younger members to make sure that they weren't assaulted. In addition, the technique that he was designing would likely take a few moments to initialize, and it would require a great deal of control and focus from all three of the squad members, so Sukotto would have to protect them as they prepared the jutsu. With that thought in mind, Sukotto figured that he'd have to work at making the jutsu something that could be executed in the time that it took to execute one jutsu, instead of three, so that it wouldn't be so easily countered. If successful, the team would be able to use the jutsu if Sukotto happened to be disabled. This way, if the squad was facing a powerful opponent and that enemy had taken Sukotto out, the team would still have something to fall back on. The technique would be both accurate and powerful enough to still be effective.
Focusing his attention back to the matter at hand, Sukotto decided to begin his duty of protecting the members of his squad. Since Serena was the only member who had agreed, the Uchiha figured that it made sense to assist her in defending against an outsider. However, before Sukotto could even take a step to intercept Shisei, the Raiken genin launched an effective defense of her own. For a moment, Sukotto's mouth hung open. He had done research on all of the younger shinobi of Shimagakure, but this was a side of Serena that hadn't been in the records. It seemed as if the girl would be quite capable of handling herself if ever placed into a tricky situation. The chuunin half-smiled and crossed his arms, waiting for the response of the Orochi. Surely the boy didn't see that kind of reaction being released from the Raiken, it was truly electrifying.

Shisei merely just stared at the girl waiting for an answer. Her face did not reveal any phase from the serpents agitated stare. This to some degree made the boy more annoyed, but the feeling passed quickly. His mind wanted to see just what would happen next. “The Uchiha will probably try to step in the conversation again with me. Or reprimand me. Whichever. This girl will probably say something similar. This guy probably told her the same thing. Meaning that he had another group of students planned to use if this team did not work out? That must be a farce. I’ll simply turn this girl against him too. Then let us see him talk both of us back into his group.” the serpent thought. Exactly why he wanted this to be done was just out of his rebellious nature. If this person wanted to make a group of the best then he had to be top notch. Not only that, but a bubble head like the sly smile probably did not understand the full circumstances of being under this Sukotto’s wing. Shisei wanted to break her resolve in this. If the Uchiha wanted this team then he would have to beg. Yet this would not be accomplished. Because the so called bubble head, had her own speech to lash out. Maybe this Raiken Serena was not the witty ditz that the serpent youth had first expected.
“Why I shouldn’t join???” the boy’s mind thought as the girl began her banter. As she spoke the boy’s eyes widened in slight bewilderment. The audacity to make such ridicule! Impudence, impertinence and insolence! Serena not only put herself above Shisei stating that he could become as strong her, but also questioned his intelligence! The ultimate maverick felt as if an electric eel had given a small jolt to his foot and the shock traveled from the bottom of his toe to the top of his highest hair follicle. She has some nerve. Nerves of refined steel. Her dialogue had made the boy forget about his previous plan of turning them both against the chuunin. If the sharingan user had sparked the boy’s childish side with his rational speech then the lightning wielder just bumped that rare childish persona one more level. At this point Shisei could not even perceive sly smiles dupe of his feelings. It was the rare occurrence where his mental capacity had failed him. All his mind was sure of was that this dark hair vixen of the Raiken clan wasn’t going to get the superior training. No. Aside from the fact of making sure she could not surpass him, the other question in his mind is exactly what was she planning? “Did she want this training for herself? Was she doing it for the Uchiha? What was her agenda” The serpent could not figure it out. Then again that’s why he dubbed her sly smile or twinkle eyes in his mind. Whether she meant to or was just a natural, shrewdness was a part of her nature.
His eyes returned to normal a minute later from the girl’s speech. This left sixty seconds of silence between the two with Shisei just analyzing the kunochi. The emotionless face hidden partially by the jacket blinked twice and pale hands found themselves within pockets. To be frank Shisei was not sure how to reply. Any wit seemed to have been shocked into silence for the next couple of minutes. Well, if there were no complaints the only rational thing to do was accept. Despite the child like tendency to be right, the tactician brain could not find an excuse at least for now. That and the inner child just had a burning desire to not see this girl surpass him. “Very well Raiken Serena. If anything, then I must stay to make sure you cannot surpass me.” with that the boy closed his tessen and put it back on his back. “At least for this mission I am a part of this team. Now unless either of you are teaching me jutsu, I should depart to Tenmoki Yuki.”

Senritsu began skipping her way upwards towards the cliffs. The familiar smell of the woods and sound of her feet against the ground was comforting in a way. In the distance the sound of conversations made it evident she was not the first there. She could tell Sukotto’s warm voice was apart of it, but she wasn’t able to tell what was being said. Her fingers quickly found the ribbon around her thin neck and began to play with it as she continued her way forward. The voice of someone else that sounded familiar soon reached her ears. It wasn’t a voice she was exactly sure about, but it was one she’d heard before. A feminine voice for sure. As she reached the opening of the trees, a dark haired girl was speaking to someone who’s face was hidden but was easy to recognize. She’d only ever seen one person who had that hair, those eyes, and that air of only loving himself. The Uchiha then sparked up the memory of the girl. It was the tattoo on her ankle that reminded her. Raiken, Serena, the nice girl from the crocodile infested Forest of Sorrows.
So she was one of the people Sukotto had chosen. But, the person she was talking to came to her mind rather easily. She knew his first name, but not his last. Shisei if she remembered correctly. It had been two years since she’d seen him, and their first meeting wasn’t a very long one. Walking out of the trees, she held her face straight, walking up to the group, but not right in the middle to draw attention to herself. “Sorry for being late Sukotto, had to deal with something.” Senritsu hoped nobody would notice the redness of her cheek or the slight dirt that covered a few patches of her clothing from her run-in from her father before. That, and she didn’t want to say anything, but the last of their conversation was easily audible to her. It seemed Shisei was having to be talked into joining the team. The last she remembered, he was getting off on watching the match between the crazy lion woman and Sukotto. Perhaps if he was given another thrill like that he’d stay, but as to where he’d get it, Senritsu didn’t bother to think of it. The slender bodied child felt a knot in her stomach grow for every millisecond she stood there beside Sukotto. Walking into what seemed to be a very tense moment for Sukotto, waiting for a member’s answer as to whether he’d join or not wasn’t something she felt completely comfortable doing.

The Uchiha was glad that Serena's response to Shisei's assault had tamed him for a moment, as the boy constantly seemed to wish to make things more difficult than they needed to be. Before he had a chance to respond to Shisei's statement about leaving to train with Tenmoki Yuki, Sukotto noticed that a certain Uchiha female was making her way up to the area that the group had gathered. His muscles relaxed a little as she entered his field of view, as even though he figured that she'd accept his request to join the team, there was a possibility that she'd refuse. After a moment more of hesitation, Sukotto shook his head at her words, stating, "I hadn't set a time, so you aren't late at all, I hope that something went well for you." With that said, Sukotto shifted his gaze to the Orochi, and finally responded to what he had most recently said. "Actually, I had planned on bringing you up to speed on the jutsu that you need to know. I'll be mixing in a bit of the training that I had planned for you, but you will only have to wait a moment more before we begin your training." The chuunin then stepped back from his newly formed squad and addressed the three of them at once, without giving Serena or Shisei time to greet the third member that had arrived.
Squad Theme
"Before I instruct Shisei, I will lay out a few of the details of the task that lies in front of us." Sukotto narrowed his eyes and gazed at the three shinobi that stood near to him. He was relieved to have finally gathered the squad that would assist him on his personal and official path to the destination that he had had a vision of, and also had been assigned to venture to. "We will train and travel under the team name of Hosenka. I vow to help train the three of you to become stronger as individuals by constantly observing your strengths and weaknesses, but more importantly, I will help to make you stronger as a focused unit. In my shinobi career, I have found that teamwork is the very most effective tool for personal growth and achieving objectives." While he had been nervous to lead his own team, the Uchiha found that his senses felt as though they had grown quite strong, and his voice had taken on a steady, yet not-too-stern tone. "In exchange, I wish for the three of you to do your best to work together. Personalities will always clash in our world, but we can't afford to have that sort of thing happen if we're stuck in a battle against a superior opponent or group of opponents." Feeling as though he had said enough on the subject, Sukotto decided to finish with a closing statement before moving onto training. "Thank you all for accepting my request, and let us all grow stronger in the name of Shimagakure while finding more out about ourselves. I will explain the details of our mission at a later time, but for now, we will begin our training."
The Uchiha favored the two female shinobi with his gaze for a moment. "Serena and Senritsu, I want the two of you to begin your training by attempting to balance on the branches of those trees over there." Sukotto gestured towards three J-shaped trees that jutted out from the side of the cliff. They were the same three trees that he had trained on with Jikan Kaori and Orochi Seshiro while he was a member of team Shuga. It felt a little strange to be standing in the shoes of the Tategami jounin. "The catch is, you may only use one foot to hold yourself up. Be careful out there, as it's a long ways down, and don't forget about what I said about teamwork. If you two cooperate, things will go more smoothly. You may begin whenever you're ready." Sukotto then fixed his attention solely on the Orochi boy. "As for you, Orochi Shisei, I'm going to have you learn my favorite academy-level jutsu: the Body Replacement Technique." Sukotto then slid his hands into the Ram seal, making sure that Shisei was able to see. "The seal is simple, just the Ram, but that has a drawback. If an enemy catches what you're doing with such a simple seal, they will be prepared for the assault. I want you to practice concealing the seal so that your opponents won't know what's coming if you're going to use this jutsu."

Serena eyed the serpent with a smile of contempt and satisfaction. Yes, she had succeeded in convincing him. But now she would have to put up with his spiteful attitude. It made it better, though, that another girl was on the squad. One that she knew wouldn't be as hard to work with as the--Orochi, that was it. His last name was Orochi, the Raiken remembered. And his first name? It was...Shisei--of course, how could she have ever forgotten that vile boy's name? The chuunin standing before them had confirmed it, and the girl, Senritsu--whom she had met earlier in the forest--had allowed the genin to pick up that his name was Sukotto. Serena smiled at Senritsu in greeting, and then proceeded to listen to the Uchiha that stood before the them.
This new task that Serena and Senrtisu were given was quite a simple concept. It might be a little bit tougher than it sounded, though. After instruction, she proceeded to take a branch on the tree to Senritsu's right. It wasn't a very good first start though, as her foot immediately lost grip and she slipped off rather ungracefully. "ooh...wasn't expecting that...guess I have a feel of it now." The Raiken stood back up and breathed in deeply.

Senritsu kept her silence as Sukotto began to speak. When he hoped that the something went well for her, she could only attempt a smile in response. She couldn’t reply, else he catch that it definitely didn’t go as well as he would have hoped. When he moved on to the boy of the group, she was almost happy. It meant he wouldn’t take notice of the redness of her cheek. Her green eyes brightened as he mentioned the ‘team’ and making them all stronger. Hopefully it wouldn’t be physical strength they’d be working on. She had enough of that by this point. Though, hearing the fact they’d be working in a group made the hair on the back of her neck stand. Working with another had never been something she favored, but it would be something she’d be doing if she was in a group such as this. She’d take it in stride. The Uchiha’s head snapped up when her name was called, and she heard what was needed of her. Well, here’s to the start of teamwork.
Her shining emerald eyes turned and focused on the person she’d be doing this exercise with as Sukotto changed his attention to the Orochi child. Senritsu returned Serena’s smile and waved as she proceeded towards the trees. The one in the middle would be the most effective if she ended up falling over. It wouldn’t be too hard to quickly grab a branch from the tree next to it. “Let‘s do our best, Serena.” Senritsu said before climbing up into the tree and getting herself up on one leg and starting what she‘d been given by Sukotto. This shouldn‘t take too long. Senritsu was pretty good at focusing herself when she needed to. Probably not as good as the others, but still pretty good.

Serena half laughed as Senritsu began talking to her. "Yes, let's do our best...that is, not counting that last one heh.." This time, she made her way up to one of the branches and mirrored Senritsu, balancing herself nicely on her right foot. Now was the tough part--staying on one leg. The Raiken raised her left hip and leg so that almost all of her weight would be balanced on her right one. It was actually a bit harder than it looked. The genin knew that if she lost focus for even a minute, she might slip..and the fall wouldn't be so nice.
So how long were they supposed to do this? Serena really didn't know whether or not Sukotto had told them. Hopefully, they wouldn't be up there for too long because one, her leg was probably going to start trembling in in a little bit from staying tight and stiff so that she wouldn't fall.
