Cassie smiled. she felt very happy. she tried to resist the urge but after a minute she caved. "so- uh.. what else do you like about me?" Cassie asked slightly hesitant.

Cassie laughed nervously. "You just like everything don't you? Is there aything you don't like about me?" she asked him, hoping that he'd be honest. "I won't get mad."

"Yeah I know." Cassie said. she just didn't understand it. Fish smelled so gross and it looked gross. especially when it was the whole thing. the beady eyes freaked her out. she shuddered involuntarily and sighed. "so tell me about your mom."

"She was the sweetest lady you'd ever meet, she was very kind and generous, she was like an angel, she made me sushi for lunch almost everyday, and she would sing me to sleep every night and she sang A LOT, she sang when she shopped, did the dishes, in the shower and lots of other stuff. Me and her would sometimes go fishing and we would make sushi, sashimi and lots of other fish dishes. We would play video games together, play board games with me she would do anything with me. She did the same for other people too." Julius felt all warm and nostalgic inside. and he said "You know Cassie, you kind of remind me of my mother."

Cassie thought about it. "Is that a good thing?" Cassie asked him, she didn't want him to think of her as his mother but she didn't think it was like that. *Seems like she is perfect.* Cassie thought.

Cassie's heart soared. "She sounds amazing." she said. "I get to meet her when we get there right?" Cassie asked.

Julius' expression changed to one of sadness and he said "Sadly, no." a tear rolled down his cheek and he said "She passed when i was 10" Julius then started to cry. "I miss my mommy." he said.

Cassie felt like she had been stabbed in the heart. "Ahh!! I'm sorry!" she hugged him tighter and stroked his head. she didn't bother wiping his tears away because she knew that that could send a wrong message. she didn't want him to feel like he had to hold back in front of her. she knew that that made the wounds in the heart bigger and deeper. She whispered softly into his ear. "I'm sorry." she wasn't sure wat else to say. she didn't want to say anything that would upset him more. she started humming a tune. she continued to stroke his hair and and dropped down a little to where the air was thicker. she figured that he would need more air as people usually do when they cry.
