"Xeion...?" Sara's voice rang out as she picked herself up. Despite her injuries, her bearing had completely changed. It was relaxed, accepting injury and pain without acknowledging it, and coiled powerfully, suggesting both strength and discipline. Such a pain threshold was common to only a few, generally to the most experienced warriors. In short, Sara carried herself--well-- not like Sara at all, but more like--
"What's going on?" Sara asked. Her voice was oddly calm yet clear, demanding attention. It was becoming obvious that Zane's odd maneuver had not only brought back Sara's memories, but Rhia's as well. Sara looked down at her hands, processing her situation without betraying alarm. The power coursing through her was wild, as her reiatsu had always been, but the sword in her hand wasn't her Lullaby at all. It was a different blade, no less comfortable in her hand, but with an entirely different set of powers. She and her current incarnation didn't quite understand its mechanics, so it really was of no use to her. She sheathed it, feeling the strain on her muscles as she moved. She had been abusing this body. It was at its limit, and she knew that well.
She watched quietly as Xeion confronted his adversary, Zane, dealing with the threat he posed with an ease born of experience. The part of her that was Rhia admired Xeion's strength and marveled at how much he'd grown. Have I really been gone that long? She mused. It was a little sad that she hadn't been able to see all her out squad mates grow into their powers. This is my punishment, I suppose, for dying as I did. She remembered that very clearly. She remembered the horror on poor Kurai's face as she let Triox's attack envelope her. She remembered the pain and the silence of death. I remember wishing I could have seen Feiy one last time, Sara smiled sadly. I never really got on well when she left. Three years was such a long time. I was depressed, and look where it got me...
She looked up, instinctively following Xeion's progress upwards. He was likely trying to escape this place-- Las Noches, if the architecture was any indication. It was shame he hadn't heard her before, but then, he was probably in a bit of a rush trying to stave off Zane's attacks. That was all right. She could probably catch him before this body gave out. She very much wanted to speak with him at least one more time. And she desperately wanted to know where Feiy had gone. Somehow, Sara's memories were slow in returning. Perhaps they were being crowded out by Rhia's.
Sara lept upwards employing a shunpo that brought her to Xeion's level just as he emerged from his Dark Mirror. The sudden movement jarred her wounded body, but Sara wasn't unduly concerned. She harbored no illusions to her fate, this time. She did, however, hope Xeion would be able to escape, even if this place proved to be her grave. That was ok. She had already died once, and she knew this life didn't belong to her.
"Xeion-kun," Sara said with a smile-- it looked a little odd with her shining, silvery-white skin, but she hoped she got the whole amiability factor across. "My old friend--" Sara wondered why she felt like crying, but the emotion was there, thick in her throat. "What are you doing in a place like this? And where's Feiy? It's been three years-- or maybe longer, I can't really recall--"
Sara's memories were coming faster, now. The smile dropped from Sara's face, gaze suddenly distant. There it was-- Feiy's death all over again through Sara's eyes. Sara's heart shattered painfully, but her face only registered quiet shock. Luckily, her memories had brought back some of Rhia's reserve. Even so, this revelation was an awful shock. She sat down hard, bringing a hand up to cover her mouth. She looked up at Xeion, eyes bright with tears and terribly sad.
"Oh--" Sara tried to collect herself. It wasn't working. "Oh, Xeion, no... Tell me that's not... I-- I lost her, didn't I? My Feiy..." She caught site of Azuhi, shaking in Xeion's hand. She smiled sadly, making a valiant attempt to pull herself together. "Yeah-- she... would have wanted you to have Azuhi. She always said you were the only student who was ever worth a damn. She just couldn't break you of your pacifistic nature--"
She broke off in a poorly-stifled cry. "Oh, god-- I'm sorry, Xeion. I'm very happy to see you. Really, I am. I just--" She brought her knees to her chest, hugging herself. Tears were spilling from her eyes even if she voice was relatively steady. She shivered, drawing a shaky breath. "I couldn't save her. I was weak and stupid. I never told her I was depressed, and then she was gone and it was too late,"
Feiy, I loved you! I still love you. Why did you go where I can't follow?
"Do you think she knew?" She asked Xeion, wishing he didn't have to see her fall apart like this. "How much I loved her? I should have told her every day... Dammit... That idiot. I just wish we had more time, you know? I don't know if I ever got to tell her all the things I meant to say. And now it's too late,"

Knowing his time to help Zane was over Alexander nodded to Xeion as he let go of his existence, but before he did he gave Zane all his knowledge, but it was up to Zane to find out what that knowledge meant."May peace sign on your soul Zane."Alexander said as he faded away from this dimension, as Zane came back the entire shock of having Alexander in his body, stopped his heart but only for a few seconds but that was long enough for both Zane's energy to disappear, and since Alexander's energy had already disappeared the Bounded Filed was terminated and the dead Zane collapse to the floor. As he laid there dead slowly his heart started beating again, and ever so slowly Zane eyes flicked open and he almost had his stop again as Insanity in it's cat form got right in his face.
"You scared the crap out of me cat."
Zane said as he slowly sat up rubbing his chest, feeling out of breath, as he rubbed his chest he made a mental note to throw Insanity at Musa the next time they met, since Insanity was really getting on his nerves, and has he thought about Insanity an unknown thought from an unknown source popped in his head.Use Pureness to block insanity
"Interesting it just might work."
Zane muttered to himself, and came up with a way to mess with Insanity placing his finger on Insanity he started to charge is finger with reaitsu, and unknown to him, his reaitsu had changed so instead of bronze colored reaitsu it was gold colored, and in it was no corruption immediately Insanity faded away, though it wasn't as painful for Insanity this time since Zane reaitsu wasn't as strong as Alexander's. Now with Insanity gone he focused on Xeion, and discover wear he was, but not through normals means, for some odd reason he could feel the metal in the air, but not just that he could feel it breathing, calling out to him, even the iron in the human body called out to him, but he knew wasn't going to be able to control it he just knew he could feel it. He also could feel Azuhi, but he could feel the blade speaking out to him, and he knew it was conflicted, Sara/Rhia was probably was the person closest to Feiy, but Xeion was Feiy's student it didn't know who to chose, but Zane wanted Sara to have it, but he was to exhausted to go after Zane at the moment but he was going to delay him.
"Well time to put that sniper training to good use."
Zane said as he took out his Colt Python from it's holster from his positon he aimed his gun at Xeion who he could feel was above him and as Zane closed his eyes he saw the world in a new light, he could see the metal around him, and everything was different colors ranging from icy blue to fiery red, and the metal in Xeion was a mellow red color.
"As to thialo!"
Zane cursed in Greek which he was very surprised about since he didn't know Greek, but some how he knew he had just said Go to Hell, then he pulled the trigger and fired a bullet that he had purposely charged full of reaitsu so it would make it to Xeion. The bullet shot through floor after floor, never slowing down, all thanks to the extra reaitsu injected into the bullet, no wmost bullets would not harm spiritual beings but all of Zane bullets were made to kill both Spiritual Beings and special humans liek the Bounts and Quincies. So has the bullet made it way through the last floor, and went flying at Xeion's heart, Xeion would have to figure out the bullet would hurt him less he learn the hard way.

((I apologize for the long wait. I should have posted sooner, but the internet got really screwy... sweatdrop ))
As Xeion reappeared from his Dark Mirror, to his surprise, he saw Sara-san already there. However, in the same manner as Zane-san/Alexander, it wasn't the Sara-san he knew. It was a different version, influenced by a powerful force from another plane of existence. Naturally, the first thought that came to pass was that Rhia-taicho was the one controlling her at that point in time. It was confirmed, however, when Sara-san began talking to Xeion in the same manner as Rhia-taicho. Xeion knew well the dangers of dimensional disequilibrium, but this was Rhia-taicho we're talking about.
Rhia-taicho -- she was the woman who helped him when he first came to the Seireitei and taught him the basics of healing which allowed him to heal and save countless people. Xeion couldn't express how grateful he was to the person who gave him so much and helped him become who he was now, and never will since she had died long before he was able to do so. Still, this was as if the world gave him a second chance to do so. Even though he knew it would be risky, he would allow her to exist in this plane, even if it's just for a little while.
Xeion bowed his head in utter respect for the person before him, the same way as he did back when he was in Squad Four as its sixth seat. It meant just how much Xeion viewed the person, or rather, her memory, that even if they were equals now, he still treated her like did back in the day. "Rhia-taicho," me muttered while he smiled slightly then lifted his head up again to face Sara-san/Rhia-taicho, listening and hanging on to her every word. When she started to break down, however, Xeion could only come closer to Rhia-taicho and wrap his right arm around her after he had sheathed Elena back into her scabbard, leaving Azuhi the only weapon drawn out. He continued to hug her even still seeing as it was the only thing he could do to comfort his former Captain.
In comforting her, Xeion just fell silent and allowed her to speak her mind. Any attempt to say the usual stuff like, "It's fine," or "Don't worry," would probably result in Rhia-taicho getting mad since the truth of the matter was everything was not okay and Rhia-taicho had a right to worry. Saying those things would just make Xeion sound insensitive and hurt Rhia-taicho's feelings. He didn't want that; Rhia-taicho was already hurting enough as is. Only when she spoke another time, upon sensing that this was probably the right time for him to speak unlike before, did Xeion whisper gently into Rhia-taicho's ear to ease her wounded soul. "She definitely knew, Rhia-taicho. She knew from the bottom of her heart. Unlike me, Feiy-sama was just too proud to actually admit it, but she knew that you loved her, and she you," said Xeion, pulling Rhia-taicho closer to his chest. "Somehow, I think her death was related to you. I'm not sure, but I can strongly feel it. That proves that she loves you with all of her heart."
As Xeion continued embracing Rhia-taicho, Xeion felt a spacial disturbance caused by a powerful energy flux coming from below. It was fast and it was tearing through floor after floor without losing momentum nor power. What's worse, it was headed right for him. If he didn't act quickly, Rhia-taicho would get hurt as well. He had to do something, and fast, if he wanted to not only stay alive, but to keep the already badly hurt Rhia-taicho from sustaining even more injuries which may endanger her life further.
"Rhia-taicho, get down!" Xeion shouted and pushed Rhia-taicho away from him as he went immediately into a defensive stance with Azuhi facing the floor. True enough, the bullet shot out and hit Azuhi's gigantic blade metal with the impact from the bullet being so powerful that it was able to send Xeion a few feet into the air just by the force of the impact. The bullet didn't stop until it hit something though, as it continued pushing through the metal for a hit, so Xeion, instead, tilted Azuhi slightly upwards, allowing the bullet to ricochet off the angled metal and crash into the adjacent wall, blowing a hole through the thick stone.
When Xeion fell back down, he was panting. Never did he encounter such a powerful shot from a gun aside from his own Angelus. The strain it put on his body was just enormous, but the strain it put on Azuhi was even worse. Not only was Azuhi confused as to whom it belonged to, as it continued to search for its original master's own reiatsu, but she was used to block something of incredible power like that. In the end, perhaps the strain was too much for Azuhi to handle.
Azuhi started to shake violently in Xeion's hands, leaving the dumbfounded Captain unable to ascertain as to what was really going on. Azuhi continued to shake, growing even more violent that before, until the infamous giant cleaver began to crack, starting from where it was hit with the bullet until the spiderweb cracks spread across the entire frame of the cleaver, eventually shattering from the strain of it all. In that moment, the giant cleaver disappeared, turning back into its normal form of a guard-less black blade, with its parts now scattered across the floor, leaving only its handle and a small part of its blade intact. Xeion couldn't believe his eyes -- Azuhi, the famous weapon that was entrusted to him, had been shattered by something as simple as that. How could something so strong become shattered so easily like that? Xeion didn't understand until he remembered something that Feiy-sama said to him long ago.
"Azuhi is very loyal to her master; you can't use it until you have gained its trust. If you do, she won't accept you like she does me. Any attempt to do so would result in failure."
That thought rang through his head. This was probably the failure that Feiy-sama had talked about on that day. Xeion forgot all about it since he didn't expect to use Azuhi so soon and force her to go into Shikai by bombarding it with his own reiatsu without even considering her feelings for the matter. It was just that Xeion didn't really think of anything else at that point aside from his own preservation since the situation was literally life or death. It wasn't his fault, but at the same time, it was. Now, it was too late to do anything about it as Xeion just knelt there, motionless, not even showing any other emotion except that of shock.
"Azuhi's...broken...," he whispered, a terrible sadness emanating from every word that he let out of his mouth.

Sara propped herself up on her elbows, clenched fists pressing against the floor as she tried to stave off a wave of nausea. She had been taken by surprise by the sudden attack from below, but it seemed that Xeion had both protected her and evaded the attack. Something thick and hot rolled up her throat, half choking her. She coughed into her hand and brought up a globule of blood. It shone starkly, darkly illuminated by the silvery-white of her skin. Rolling over, she sat up, wiping her hand with the back of her mouth and cleaning her hand off on her clothes. This body was quite beyond its limits.
She hoped Xeion hadn't seen that. He really was the kindest person she knew, and she could see how her own mood affected him. She was happy that Feiy hadn't changed that about him. He had a greater power about him, now. He had poise where there had once been uncertainty, power where there had been vulnerability. It was somehow redeeming to see an old student of hers so in control and so very powerful. She hoped that this power had served him well in deflecting Zane's attack.
What met her eyes when she finally looked up was more painful than she could have imagined. Azuhi had shattered-- that was probably what had evinced such a violent reaction in her body-- and her pieces lay scattered about. Xeion still held the hilt and a small section of the blade in his hand, and his face betrayed his dismay. Upon hearing his words, Sara's heart-- or what was left now that she'd realized Feiy's death-- wrenched, nearly forcing her to double over. Poor Xeion-- he meant so well. She could still feel his arms around her, and she'd been so grateful that someone had at least made an attempt to comfort her when she was in such pain.
She made to move toward him and, as she rested her weight on her arm, a shock of new pain registered, emanating from her right shoulder. Looking down, she could see a shard of Azuhi embedded in her bicep. She pulled it out carelessly. It didn't matter how she abused this shell, now. Or, at least, it wouldn't, soon.
As she pulled it out, the shard, now painted red with her blood, began to hum softly in her hand. Another shard by her knee took up the same sort of vibration, and Sara wondered if she alone could hear and feel it. On a whim, she brought the shard she held towards that by her knee. Like a magnet, the shards jumped together, fusing with a ruby-red seam that could only have been her blood. Odd-- it seemed as though her blood was acting as a solder. Instinctively, she knew she could fix this-- not permanently, perhaps, but enough to make help Xeion. It was good to know that this body wouldn't go to waste.
Standing with a bit of difficulty, Sara used the two fused shards and cut gashes across both palms. Blood welled up from the cuts at once, dripping from her palms. Drops spattered the floor, and all of Azuhi's shards took up the vibration she had felt earlier. They tottered on the floor, crowding towards her as though she was a lodestone. As they neared her, they jumped into her hands, catching drops of her blood and reconstituting the broken blade.
She began to approach Xeion then, hands outstretched, Azuhi's enormous blade growing as she moved. By the time she'd reached him, the last shard had lept into place. The blade in her hands appeared to be divided by a tracery of ruby-red spiderwebs. This, as Sara had worked out, was her blood, acting to hold Azuhi together. Apparently her love for Feiy, soul-deep or stronger, was enough to mollify Azuhi into a tenuous peace.
With gentle, though bloody hands, Sara fit the blood-patched blade to the piece in Xeion's hands. Immediately blood flowed to completed the seal, and Xeion held Azuhi once more. When she was finished, Sara's shoulders sagged. She hadn't felt the strain until she'd severed the power that was pouring out of her. Azuhi was a powerful blade. It required a great deal of energy, and Sara was down to the dregs of this shell's power. She swayed and sank slowly to her knees in from on Xeion, hands still on the blade.
"I'm sorry," She said a little breathlessly. "That's the best I can do-- and I don't even know what I did," Her laugh was a little off, but hardly noticeable. "Azuhi will hold for you, but you need to go now. She'll accept you in the end, but you have to prove yourself to her. Knowing you, that won't be a problem,"
She tried to smile. This next part would be hard for him to accept, but it had to be done. "I'm spent, Xeion," She continued gently, words soft but serious. "This body has been ill-used, and I'm tired. But I want you to get out of here. You have to promise me you'll get back to Soul Society with Azuhi. Can you do that for me?"
((she has no blood-born pathogens, I swear! XD On the other hand, if this doesn't fit with your plot, just let me know, and I can switch it all up!))

((Okay, Zane-san; Rhia-taicho, nonesense. This plot was made for you. I should be the one adjusting to your posts, not the other way around, you silly rabbit. ( =w= )v )) Xeion paid no attention t everything that happened around him, not even caring if the Arrancar below tried to attack a second time. It was as if Xeion's mind and soul had been transported to another world where time stood still around him as the gravity of what just happened began to set in, deeper and deeper, flowing down his psyche like a poison that shook the very foundations of his training. Azuhi, one of the most powerful zanpakuto in existence, had just been shattered by a simple shot. If it was Feiy-sama holding the sword, not only would it have been okay, but she could have even found a way to turn the shot back at the attacker. However, Feiy-sama was gone, leaving only her memento -- the Azuhi -- as evidence that she ever existed; however, it seems that even that had also died. That is, that's what Xeion thought. When Xeion heard Rhia-taicho's voice, he snapped back to reality and realized that Azuhi was once again in his hands, but the only difference was the numerous red lines that adorned the blade as if acting as some sort of solder that held the blade together. Xeion couldn't believe his eyes -- Azuhi was once again whole -- but when he turned around to thank Rhia-taicho, what he saw made his eyes widen as tears slowly crept out from them and ran down his cheeks. Rhia-taicho had been severely weakened and now lay on the ground, dying. Immediately, his still fresh memory of Feiy-sama's death shot out of his mind when he saw Feiy-sama in Rhia-taicho. It was happening all over again. However, Xeion refused to let it go on. The cycle of death had to stop now. Xeion would be damned if he would let Sara-san/Rhia-taicho, pass away like this. No, he just can't -- he won't. [Post #8 - #9 BGM: Alone (Piano Version)] With his free hand, Xeion took the crystal attached to Azuhi's pommel and took it out and placed it on Sara-san/Rhia-taicho's stomach. Since Xeion thought that Rhia-taicho's energy was compatible with Feiy-sama's energy, seeing the effect first-hand on Azuhi's reconstruction, he also thought that the same principle would apply in healing Rhia-taicho. In fact, since it was Feiy-sama's energy, the healing effects would be amplified a hundred-fold and immediate which probably equaled, and even surpassing, that of the Angelus. Lucky for him, a good amount of Feiy-sama's energy was still stored within the crystal, but there were no clear assurances that it would work. Still, Xeion had to try. At once, Xeion poured out all of his reiatsu and channeled it through the crystal. The chiyuudo, amplified through the crystal, spread across Rhia-taicho's body and began to try its best to heal any and all injuries that she had sustained thus far. It was quite exhausting to do so, but Xeion wanted to her to live. She was just as important to him as was Feiy-sama. Losing one was already a blow to Xeion's heart; losing both would be unacceptable. "Stupid! Both you and Feiy-sama are stupid!" Xeion screamed while he healed his heavily-injured former Captain and her current incarnation. "You two don't care about the people you leave behind; you just do what you want and make yourselves look cool at the end! It's so annoying, but then again, it's probably why you two were meant for each other because you two are just as inconsiderate and selfish as the other!" Xeion cried some more, but it only made him much more determined to save Sara-san/Rhia-taicho's life while he continued to rant on. "Think about it for a while -- what right do you have to use your reincarnation's life like your own, Rhia-taicho! She's her own person now and you can't just allow her to die without her consent! Sara-san is Sara-san, Rhia-taicho is Rhia-taicho. The latter is dead while the former lives on as a new person separate from the latter. You don't have the right to allow this body to die!!!" By this time, Xeion was overly exerting his body as he started to feel the effects of pouring every last bit of reiatsu into healing Rhia-taicho. His hands started to shake, his lips became dry, and his muscles tensed up like cement. Still, Xeion continued with his work, determined not to let anyone else die on that day. "Besides, if you die, then Feiy-sama dies as well. When you die, Feiy-sama dies as well. But if you live, then Feiy-sama will continue to live in your heart, in your mind, and in your soul, even if you or Sara-san remember it," Xeion added, slowly calming down since fatigue began setting in. While he was healing, Xeion heard a voice from inside his head. It wasn't Elena's voice, but a different one altogether. It was Azuhi's voice -- she was speaking to him for the first time since he had acquired her. It was probably because she had felt Feiy-sama's dormant energy, stored in the crystal, activate when Xeion augmented his own reiatsu into it and channeled the resulting energy as a powerful chiyuudo. " I feel her...Feiy's energy...I feel it...," said Azuhi as she began to shake in the hand Xeion held her in. " That's because my master is using her energy to heal Rhia. Feiy...is dead," Elena replied upon sensing that Xeion needn't be disturbed in healing Rhia-taicho, but continued to use his head as a convergence point between the two spirits. " She's dead...?" Azuhi asked in slight disbelief, " So I'm all alone now...I don't have a master anymore..." " Not exactly. Do you want to come with us? We may not be as good as Feiy, but we'll be happy to give you a home." The conversation between the two spirits went on while Xeion continued healing Rhia-taicho with all of his might. His vision started to get hazy, barely even seeing what he was doing, but Xeion still continued. he didn't want a tragedy to happen again. [8/10]

"We know what we're doing," Sara said, pulling away and pushing the stone from her stomach the moment she was able. She could feel Xeion's power fading rapidly. His was an impossible task. To restore all of her reiatsu and bring her back from these injuries was akin to filling an ocean. He would kill himself doing it, and that was the last thing Sara wanted. His healing, however, had given her enough energy to resist his further aid.
She opened her mouth to speak again and froze, a shudder passing through her body. Her face was tensed, betraying an anxiety that Rhia's natural calm could not displace. There was a powerful energy moving towards them and moving quickly. They had a minute or two at the most before...
"If ever I was your captain, you'll respect my very last command," She said tightly, nerves singing. In Xeion's state of near-collapse, she doubted he was able to sense, as she could, the approach of this reiatsu signature. "I want you to take Azuhi, and I want you to run,"
Knowing he wouldn't accept something like that, she continued, speaking quickly: "I understand what you've said. You're right-- Feiy and I lived for each other. Now that I'm alone, it's hard to find something to live for. I feel like half a soul, and it hurts me every minute. But, Xeion, I promise you this-- if you do as I say, some semblance of my soul will remain,"
The powerful signature was growing closer, and a sense of urgency grew in her voice. "You must run, Xeion. Don't waste your energy trying to heal me-- you've spent too much of it as it is, and we both know there's not enough. You get yourself out of here. There is someone coming for me as we speak, but she can't know you've been here. When you run, don't look back. No matter what you sense or hear, you're not to turn around. You're not to come back for me, understand?"
There are some things that you should never have to see, Xeion.
Sara caught Xeion's face in her hands, holding him steady and planting a kiss on his forehead. Through her brief contact she forced a spectacular amount of energy back into him. It was raw and may be a bit painful, but it would function as a shot of pure adrenaline, providing him with the energy he would need to get himself out of Las Noches.
"Go, and I swear to you some part of me will survive. Promise me you won't come looking for me," She said softly into his ear, embracing him briefly. "This is my place in the world, now. No one can change that,"
Jes, the Primera was nearly upon them. Her reiatsu signature was unmistakable. Since Sara's rebirth in Las Noches, Jes had been her savior and her protector, her jailer and her tormentor. If there was anyone with the arts to rescue this body, it was she, but both Sara and Rhia knew the price of that salvation. It was not a price they wished Xeion to watch her pay.

((I enjoyed it as well, Rhia-taicho; let's do it again sometime. 3nodding
I'm sorry for making you wait, Jes-san. Really busy right now... sweatdrop ))
Xeion blushed when he felt Sara-san's/Rhia-taicho's soft, warm lips touch his forehead, then followed by a sharp pain that surged throughout his body like an ocean of energy filling a small pond. However, Xeion was too preoccupied by the kiss to actually feel the pain. This was the first time those precious lips had touched him and Xeion was still quite dumbfounded by what just happened. When it was over though, he just knelt there and stared at Sara-san/Rhia-taicho with his face still as red as ever. The entire thing was quite a shock to him, but Xeion's shock was quickly eclipsed by his curiosity at where Sara-san/Rhia-taicho was getting at. Why did she want him out of the picture? What was she hiding that he didn't want him to see? Why the sudden sense of urgency? As Xeion asked those questions, it was then when Xeion, too, felt the surge of energy coming towards them at such high speeds. It was powerful, no doubt, and filled with malice and dark intent. However, Xeion didn't sense any murderous will from it. It was just like the things he had dealt with before when he stopped that outbreak from Hell's Gates long ago -- kind-hearted demons or emotional devils -- whatever they were called. Xeion knew this was similar to that.
Understanding why Rhia-taicho wanted him out, Xeion smiled at her since she had expressed his concern for him and his well-being. However, he shook his head to Rhia-taicho's request. Xeion had disobeyed Rhia-taicho's direct order. "When you died, I was so sad that I wasn't there to see it. If I was there though, I would have happily tried my best to save you, Rhia-taicho. I can't let it happen again -- I want to see how this story ends with my own, two eyes. I'll be a witness to the climax of this insane play and accept whatever consequences since it's my decision to do so."
With that said, Xeion stood up and sheathed Azuhi in her scabbard as the two spirits continued to interact within his head, but Xeion was much too preoccupied to mind them. Closer -- the being of such power seemed closer now, but Xeion was prepared to meet this powerful being who harbored no murderous will, though her soul was sick and twisted. From the energy, Xeion traced it deeper into its source and found that her spirit was an amalgam of memories, both bad and good, with no clear distinction as to which memories were concrete and which ones were fake. True, this was how an Arrancar usually felt, but this was one was different. It was all clear to Xeion as he felt the energy -- the person who had such a power had the ability to manipulate memories, hence the weird energy signature. This gave Xeion all the more reason to stay and see things through.

[No, no! You didn't keep me waiting at all. I just didn't know what you guys wanted to do with this thing. Now I sort of have it figured out whee ]
Why does this anxiety claw at my chest? Jes tugged at her crimson kimono top where it rested above the hollow hole that took the place in her chest where her heart should have been. There is nothing in me that feels, yet I'm certain-- So certain...
My little hawk. My angel is dying?
Jes's pace increased, spurred by the uncomfortable, unfamiliar jolts of fear in her. She was in the courtyard, now. Its entryway, usually open to the cold, white sands of Las Noches, was blocked with an inordinate amount of rubble. She was, frankly, surprised the cracked columns still stood after having sustained such heavy damage. There were traces of Sara's energy within the rubble. Looking up, she could see holes in the ceiling that breached several stories. Jes could sense Sara's energies in one of the upper stories along with another unfamiliar power. Their emotions were so potent that she could taste them from afar. Sara was in a great deal of physical pain, and a crushing sadness weighed upon her heart, threatening to drown her. The other being's sorrow was of a similar magnitude, if not of the same variety.
It wasn't the emotions of the two above her that worried her. Rather, it was the feeling of Sara's spiritual pressure. It was the same, wild energy she had always emitted, but the feel of the power was changed, overshadowed by something more powerful and strangely alien. It felt wrong to Jes, as though something was trying to occupy a space in which it did not belong. It made the hair at the back of her neck stand up, but at the same time, the power emitted an entirely familiar presence. If the idea didn't sound entirely impossible, she would have thought Rhia was up there, not Sara. The thought of Rhia stirred the half-digested soul of Rhia's sister. She came alive, screaming for her sister in Jes's head. Jes's face hardened into a mask indifference. Internally, she tried to crush the soul back down into the conglomerate mass that was her make up, but the spirit refused to be quelled. Nothing would do but that the presence be investigated immediately.
Although Jes hated to follow the whims of this unruly spirit, she was, for once, in agreement. Without further thought, she sonidoed upwards through the ruined levels that crowned the courtyard. Finally, she landed on the level on which the two spiritual pressures she had sensed stood.
If she had not been accustomed tamping her emotions down under a cold, expressionless mask, her surprise and shock would have been written clearly on her face. As she was, a slight crease appeared in her otherwise-smooth forehead, and her eyes grew hard like chips of icy ruby. She didn't recognize the two people kneeling on the floor in front of her. One looked like a shinigami. His spiritual pressure, though ragged with fatigue, was of such enormous proportions that he could be none other than a captain at the very least. He knelt facing a glowing figure whose skin was a strange, silvery-white that Jes almost recognized. The glowing being sagged with extreme fatigue and its skin was covered with wounds. It looked as though something had put the skin under at extreme pressure and it had ruptured, spilling blood. There were this trails of blood around its face that gave it an oddly nightmarish quality.
With a jolt that, again, did not register on her face, Jes recognized the glowing figure: "Sara," She sighed almost sadly. The emotions that rolled from the girl were akin to those she had sensed when Feiy had died. Nothing else could cause such torment, and Jes could guess at the scene she now beheld. Sara had, somehow, remembered Feiy's death. Jes had been sure she had taken all of Feiy from Sara's memory, but somehow, something had brought everything back. And not just Sara's memories-- there were Rhia's there, too. Jes wasn't sure how she knew that. Perhaps it was Sara's presence and the way the soul inside of Jes reacted with such vehemence. Nothing but the soul's sister would have caused such a reaction.
"My little hawk--" Jes knelt and gathered Sara to her, expecting little resistance since her body had been so weakened. She wrapped her arms territorially around her, cold eyes finding those of the shinigami. "I don't know what you've done, and I don't want to know. I have no interest in killing you at the present time, but that may change. You would do well to leave, boy. Go back to your Seireitei and never come looking for my Sara again,"
