Sam didn't know why he chose that song. Maybe because it was the only one he knew but he regretted saying it. As he listened to the music he could see the black grande piano, set up in the middle of a white room, the far wall practically made completely of glass. an elegant woman was sitting on the bench and playing the song. her long black hair gave off the smell of apples and she played wonderfully. Sam opened his eyes. he didn't want to remember. *Forget it. Forget her, and all the rest of them* he told himself.

Soma shut every thought out of his mind, closed his eyes and focused on the beautiful sounds his flute made.

Chloe was amazed at how well Soma played the flute. "Where did you hear this song?" she whispered to Sam.
Sam scratched his head, "uh,hah, my mother used to play it actually...." he said.

As Soma finished playing he opened his eyes and snapped back into reality. "Well?" he said.

Chloe clapped her hands. "I've never heard it before but it sounded great!"
Sam forced a smile. "You know how to play that flute, I'll give you that." he said.

Chloe didn't flinch this time. "You're welcome." she hugged him back, feeling a little awkward. *This guy has managed to change me this much in just a day?* Chloe couldn't believe it.
