I was working through the Guild Settings and decided to change the guild type from "roleplaying" to "interest-based." Roleplaying isn't even half of what we do here, and I figured the change was fair. ;3
Also, I have axed the rule stating that users are only allowed one character. Multiple characters are now allowed, as long as plot-monopoliztaion does not take place.

The new Mission/Storyline Idea Sticky is now up in The Suggestion Forum. This thread is to help all members give ideas for the roleplay, and help us think of new storylines to keep the roleplay going. Now we will be taking your ideas for the roleplay and building off that, this way everyone has a say.

I've been working like a housewife house droid to get subtle little things in the Guild cleaned up. X3 That's what this update is really about-- cleaning. XD You know, to let you know I'm here and doing stuff.
Also, Guilyn has been slaving over the RP, and here's a shoutout to her. <3 Remember to check out her thread, linked in the above post.
My apologies for being a bit sparse; I've been packing and getting ready to move out of the house at the beginning of the semester-- in two days. XD I'm a little stressed, but I'll be back full-force ASAP.

The SIDE Roleplay Forum has become the INDEPENDENT Roleplay Forum after a host of questions and mishaps somehow confusing the two. ;3
Independent roleplays are not in any way affiliated with the Main role play, which is sanctioned by the guild and modded.

The currect roleplay will be undergoing a large change over the next few weeks. We will be moving over to a new storyline and will hopfuly help draw more people into the story itself. For people in the roleplay now if you can attempt to keep up if not it's ok. For those in the RP right now you may PM Guilyn if you have any question, or if you want to help.

I've been neglectful. Though, I've also been in college, so you'll have to give me a break. Between Mass Effect, a physics lab which habitually kicks my a**, actually having to practice to keep up with the music majors in the Wind Ensemble, and American politics, I've not been on Gaia in forever-and-a-day.
Oh, and I also made the mistake of purchasing Final Fantasy XII, which made me flunk an astronomy test and drop a history class because I refused to go to class because I needed to "YOU KNOW OF THE REBELLION AGAINST THE EMPIRE???" nerd-out. (I think I saw that entire game on "Star Wars" once.)
BUT. I'm back, and I'm going to be revamping some obselete rules that I think are stupid. Any suggestions of what you want abolished? PM me. Or, if you're too lazy, just contact me through our psychic connection.
Now, if you'll excuse me, Saren's due for another a**-kicking, and I need to reaffirm my undying love for the Empire. Peace.

I decided that the front page is also due for a clean-up. While staring at it, I discovered that it glorifies role-play, which is no longer this guild's forte. This brings up the other complaint I see most often (and one that I certainly understand): how the hell can we keep role-play up?!
I decided it's about time to put the power back in your hands: major choke-hold rules are going to be amended. Not to the point of anarchy, mind you-- that's what the other forum is for-- but to the point where you all have enough control over your characters and the plot that if one of us (or... all of us) gets caught up in college. Every time I pay my tuition fees, I suddenly feel like studying. *shrug*
Spring break is drawing to a close, which means I only have a few more days to play through the Sun-Cryst level again. I mean, which means I'll be getting my list done, asap.
Remember, if you have something important to say... PM PM PM PM PM PM PM PM!!!!

May 2, 2008 It feels good to finally be in a home with internet 3nodding . For those who were wondering life got into the way for me in more ways then I care to go into at the moment and I am sorry I left the roleplay such a mess. One thing I do have to say it got so bad I had to sell my xbox and all my games crying (which was only Kotor and Kotor 2) and I'm still recovering from the Star Wars void that has been left.
Since I left everything such a mess I hope to try to fix everything, or at least as much as I can. Any tips or idea what to do...or where to begin would be VERY helpful. Thank You ^_^

GREAT news. The Roleplay is up and running again. As I have said before I am sorry I am to blame for it dieing but its alive and kicking now and we are moving into a new story. This new story will go places that this Roleplay never has before.
The Sith order is reborn with a new found strength is has not seen in generation. The idea of only two skilled warriors is not enough, and now on the Hidden academy on the Dxun Moon the Sith rebuild to take their Revenge.
The few broken Jedi left have fled to a hidden enclave on Dantooine. Unsure what if anything they can do, they seek to learn more about this new threat and what they can do to help.
A rogue force user believe the Jedi and Dark Jedi have no right to use the force and will hunt them all down to kill those unworthy attempting to use The Force!
With The Republic and Imperial Fleets both gone they have joined together under and new banner of The Resistance to try to stop to spread of the Oronar Fleet!
Come join us for an adventure in the Star Wars world that will keep you on the edge of your seat begging for more. This Roleplay is made and controlled not by us mods but by you, everyone who is in the Roleplay is making the storyline as it unfolds!~Guilyn

Howdy! I've axed more rules and re-worded some shyat in the RP Application-thingie. I also demolished a therad that was just hanging out. Also, I'm going to be archiving the Force System thread, seeing as it was something we used a good three and a half years ago, but not since. If you have any major beef with my taking it away, contact me.
Next, I will be working with Guilyn to clarify your questions about the plot. Keep those PMs coming!

I'm pleased to be back and operational again. While I'm working full-time and going to school part-time this summer (with cabin trips and camping excursions in between), I fully intend to spend more time devoted to this guild.
Which, of course, means I'm going to need a project to work on (but might never finish, lulzor) to keep my head on straight. Therefore, I'm compiling a compository list of the roleplay, intended to help those of us who winked out of the last one to be able to play strongly within the storyline parameters.
It also means I'm going to be annoying and PMing some of you for information, so buck up and give me a good answer! XD
Also, Seffi may or may not have died of lung cancer or liver disease, which is why he's not around. Maniac was probably mauled by his speech class.

June 16, 2008 Unfortunately, I'm not dead. Lung cancer and liver disease have not yet invaded my body, at least not that I'm aware of. However, my laptop is currently (how can I put this eloquently?) ********. Moreover, with a lack of money, I'm unable to get it repaired anytime soon. Therefore, I will not be able to participate in any guild activities for some time. I was going to try and mingle in some references to smoking, drinking and Class-A drugs to reflect upon the other luxuries I will be missing out while poverty-stricken, but I'm feeling uninspired. I made the mistake of picking up full-time hours at work this month, and even though half my paycheck goes towards taxes and the other half is used to pay bills and university tuition, effectively making my ten-hour days one giant waste of my time, I've discovered the joy of not going to bed until 4 AM, and because I dropped my microeconomics class a week in, I should be finding the time to do more work.
Work? What kind of work? Suggestions should come my way.
Currently, I've pooled an effload of money together to get a new guild banner. If anyone knows any good artists, this guild pays handomely. I use that word because I'm currently halfway through Oliver Twist. Apparently, when it comes to my booklist, I am a masochist.
