I can still hear it laughing at night, just when I'm about to fall asleep. Like, the very moment you lose consciousness and you hear it but even that isn't enough to jolt you back awake.

oh god. i finished reading a book called "the boy in the striped pajamas" it's about this nazi boy who's dad is a soldier and they move to this house near a jew camp. Bruno, the nazi boy, finds another kid who's in the camp, he wears this striped uniform, who bruno thinks are pajamas,and they become friends and talk through the fence and stuff. all this stuff happens and at the end bruno dresses in another uniform and crawls under the fence to help his jew friend find his dad in the camp; then they're all pushed towards this room and at the end, they bravely hold hands and this guy in a gas mask above pours this powder in there and closes it, then burns the room which was really a furnace.
