Shiki looked at the bed he was sitting on. It was a normal twin sized bed.
He pulled the sheets back and placed his hand on them. Akiha really would kill him if she knew he was in a place with cheap sheets like these. But this was something he was used to, so he had no complaints.

"Hm...?" Shiki turned around to look at Sandra. He seemed preoccupied with something, "Oh, yeah. We should get some rest since we're here anyway," He said with a smile.

Shiki felt he couldn't hold it off anymore, "I need to step out for a minute. I'll be right back," He said and stood up.

Shiki nodded and quickly left the room. He ran down the hallway and out of the hotel, into the forest and out of sight.
There was something there, and he needed to make sure it was dead. A hand held his knife in his pocket as he ran.

"I knew it..." Shiki muttered. He had stopped and was looking around a tree trunk at some demons. He had long since removed his glasses and put them in his pocket. He needed to ambush the three of them. He was looking at every possible way to attack. Surprise attack from the canopy seemed good enough, but Shiki wasn't confident in his tree climbing ability. It was only under certain conditions that he could climb trees expertly. He knew a surprise attack would get rid of one of the demons before they even retaliate. Then it was a battle of speed and wills.
Fighting back his headache, he looked back up at the canopy. Maybe a lower branch would be just as good...

Shiki could not attack from above, he found. He would have been spotted instantly.
Then he felt something tap him on his shoulder. He didn't even look at who it was. He knew it wasn't human. That was all he needed to know.
He instantly turned and his blade sank into the demon's chest. The demon fell apart like all of it's death lines had been traced instantly.
Then he flew into the three demons in the clearing, already bathed in blood.

The demons converged on Shiki. He jumped over one of them and sliced the line through it's neck, sending a waterfall of blood to rain down on him. But him doing that left him vulnerable to an attack.
A large wooden club met Shiki's back and he was thrown to the ground. He weakly flipped onto his back, just in time to see the club being raised again. But he wasn't afraid. His face was calm.

Shiki's eyes suddenly blanked out as another entity took a hold of him.
Shiki's body seemed to disappear. While the demons were struggling with the vines around them, an evil presence filled the air.
Shiki appeared at the edge of the clearing with a sinister smirk. He slowly approached with his knife in hand.
"It's been ages...! Lets' finish this quickly okay...?" He said like he was uninterested.
Then, the world around him and the demons was completely cut out from the world. Everywhere in this pocket dimension was dark. Everything was black. Shiki disappeared into the realm, "You are like insects caught in my web. Lets' make this a beautiful killing field with your blood," As he said that tauntingly, both demons were being slaughtered by thousands of knife wounds. Shiki never once made himself known inside his reality marble.
Eventually, the demons were slaughtered and the dimension shattered, leaving Shiki standing in the middle of the carnage with a smile on his face. He lifted his blade and licked it a few times.
