Alya giggled and ran off to find out where the Duke would be, which involved opening a lot of doors. After the 7th door of trying she opened the door to his study and saw him sitting there reading a book, like Oliver said. She laughed and tackled him with a hug
"Morning!" She said cheerfully

(( Sorry, I had a funeral to go to during the weekend. Can someone please tell me what I missed? I read to the part where they hear the howl and Estelle is leaded away by Rosemary. ))

((Oliver led everybody upstairs, where they each found their own room. It's now the morning after.

By the way, I think I sent a private message to everyone, but I could be wrong. I'll just say it here: On the first page I edited one of the reserved posts to include a description of the mansion's more obvious rooms and places. Be sure to take liberty at exploring and what-not, if you want to, people.))

The Duke of Hoyles, who had been sitting in his reading chair, dropped his book and raised his hands above his head as Alya tackled him and knocked the chair backwards. "What in the - get off of me, child!" He exclaimed, before knocking his head against the floor. The man was dazed, and went limp.

Nam hummed "Here Comes the Sun" as he combed the basement for his lead pipe or some other like object ((That one he wanted just in case you didn't read my uber long post...)). Singing helped take his mind off of the situation he was in and majorly calmed his nerves. "Here comes the sun, little darling, oh, it's alright," peering into cells and corners, he also decided to keep an eye out for the things that made his pockets bulge before he woke up in this very dungeon. Nam strode into the storage room, "Sun, sun, sun, here it comes," he sang, sifting through the storage room's contents.
Finding nothing of particular use, but filing away any information he thought may be of service in the future, Nam curiously began to explore and started with the stairs in the room. His British voice bounced off of the stone stair walls, and he had switched his song, "She asked me to stay and she told me to sit anywhere, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm," he improvised the musical accompanyment, "so I looked around and I noticed there wasn't a chair..."
When Nam's eyes rested on the library above, they widened and his singing stopped. He'd never seen such a magnificent room, nor such a collection of books. Oblivious to what had happened in the study, Nam picked books off the shelves, taking any he thought interesting or useful (in other words, not many.)

Evelyn remained in a deep slumber as the sun had risen, since she normally wasn't used to being up in the mornings. She seemed almost lifeless as she was laying there, since she was deathly silent. Her breathing was barely visible, as it always was when she was sleeping.

Stephanie had been sitting on her window sill as the sun came up. She hadn't been paying attention to what was going outside though, so she hadn't noticed anything unusual. She stood up and decided to explore.
As she entered the hallway she heard Nam's voice and followed it into a library.
"Wow!" she gasped, "This place is so beautiful!"

Oliver busily swept the second story halls. He straightened a picture - then found it slightly ajar. Frowning, Oliver closed the portrait - glancing around to make sure nobody saw. Quickly, he hurried downstairs to check the first story entrance to the secret stairway.

A heartbeat... echoed, throughout the dark walls. Red eyes, extremely bright, though not glowing, watched the walls.

It had combed these halls all throughout the night... the scent of people had filled the underground's bowels. But, they were not to be found - in the cells or out of them.

The creature rested, grumpily, in its lair... and drifted to sleep....

Rosemary pushed her plate aside, having finished quickly - though not as quickly as one particular, piggy 'guest.' She wandered into the Great Hall, wondering where she could find Alya.

Luna listened to the "Duke" speak and she sighed. I knew this was too good to be true. Luna sighed, and walked to her room, and went to bed quickly.

Luna woke up in the morning, grumpier than usual. She kept hearing noises at night, and wanted to know where they came from. But she remembered to not go look..since she may never come back. Luna stepped quietly out of the bedroom, and tried to make her way to the kitchen. Damn..the house I used to live in was so simple compared to this mansion.. Luna sighs, remembering how her parents lost their house to the bank.

Nam jumped as Stephanie spoke, unaware that she had come in. I'll have to be more careful, I could have just been... though he couldn't bring himself to think the word "killed". He closed his eyes and shook his head to rid himself of the thought, and looked at her, "Yeah, it is," he said, "I've never seen anything like it before." He placed one more book on his pile to look through, hoping upon hope that she wouldn't be taking part in this twisted "game", and also hoping that she wouldn't get the wrong impression of his makeshift weaponry.

kryxel was up before sunrise and had done his daily exersise
he walked down to the library and saw a few people there
"morning."

"Hey," Nam answered. Everyone seemed so friendly, espicially given the situation, and he should try to be as well. After all, being unfriendly couldn't get you anywhere good anyway. These people had done nothing to harm him. Yet. Hopefully they never would and they could all just get along here.

"anyone see a monster yet?" kryxel asked looking at the books.
PostPosted: Mon Oct 27, 2008 7:55 pm

"Nope, no monster." Nam replied, "Not even in the dungeon." Then after a second he said, "Sorry, basement. Not that this place isn't nice and all, but I can't wait to get out of here."
