((Er... that's my bad. But for the sake of convenience a silver stake would work perfectly. Of course, silver bullets which will arrive from the monks will work even more effectively... I need to watch Van Helsing again. 3nodding )) ~Fortune Nicholas could not argue with this. While he, in his line of work, was already quite knowledgeable in the supernatural lore, he could not say so to the doctor. It would be better if none knew of his profession. "That's quite possible; I hadn't considered that," the mercenary admitted with all truthfulness. He took a cup of tea, sipping it gingerly before sitting back down. "I'd love to stay, but I won't waste too much of your time, Doctor. Suffice to say, it's been quite interesting hearing about your work. I believe you may well contribute a great deal to your goals, if not succeeding at them completely." Nicholas drank his tea, setting the cup down and nodding approvingly. "I'd like to thank you for your hospitality, and ask one more question if you don't mind. Do you know who lives in that... larger house, next door to the mayor?"

Dr. Gordon smiled at the compliments, but immediately came to attention when the house was mentioned, "That mansion? It belongs to the Bachel Family...oddly enough, they don't have any graves from earlier than 600 years ago, and they never come to the clinic... And the house is occupied with Bachels now... it's just... They don't come out during the day... I think it's an allergy to the sun. there's many documented cases back in my homeland... But now that I think about it, those Bachels never came to get immunized... weird, huh?"
He shook his head, "strange people live here... some say I fit right in... Well. It was nice meeting you, and you're free to come again to my clinic at any time! Open 18 hours a day!" He stood up to open the door, "and feel free to come chat any time you're not injured."

Lilium looked into every shop keepers window and door and the people inside fled in fear. "Oh. Don't run away. I'm just a friendly little doggy!" She barked loudly, sending people screaming into thier homes. "Ah, nuts... I've had enough of this." Lilium walked towards the gates heading to the forest. On her way there, she kicked over a fruit cart and grabbed a cat for a snack.

~Fortune Nicholas nodded. "Thank you, I'll do that. Good evening, Dr. Gordon." ~ After he was back in town, Nicholas decided that he should go visit Ulric's tower. Walking through town (it is on the other side of town?) he noticed much destruction. The villagers were all in hiding, as well. The mercenary made a note of this, but decided to ignore it for the time being. He stopped and asked for directions, however, about eight times before finally grabbing a citizen and demanding directions, after each and every one of them had run away.

(yes. Ulric lives on a lone tower on the opposite side of the valley from Gordon's castle. the exterior is kept immaculate, and it rises at least eight stories up.)

Adrian entered Star's room, "Night never seems to come fast enough, does it? My dear, If you'd like to, I could give you an umbrella... it's overcast today, so the light will only sting you if you're exposed to it..."

Lilium dug at the ground because she was bored. The cat she grabbed was tasty, so now she was burying the remains so a cat-tree would grow and she'd have unlimited snacks! She dropped the mangled corpse into the ground and kicked dirt over it. "There! I'm so great." She sat on the ground and kept guard over her 'treasure'.

Adrian smiled, "as long as you don't get into trouble, my dear..." He took out an umbrella from his coat. a black lacquered wood handle inlaid with elegant gold designs and black fabric being it's most noticeable features. "This is from the island kingdom up north. please don't break it... it's worth a hefty amount of money..."
