Marlute walked over to Rufus, shutting the door again and glancing up with a look of relief written across his face. "President Rufus...." He said, hoping that the President hadn't overexhausted himself.

Rufus watched as the descendants made their departure until the door was finally shut, shielding his view.. They were safe... For now. The entire time, Rufus never showed even the faintest sign of doubt in his expression. "I'm fine.." He knew what Marlute silently questioned, and turned to walk back to his wheelchair and sit down before straining himself too much. "Circle the area, don't land until we know they have all left. Then gather the rest and take us to Healin Lodge to treat the wounded." Rufus ordered calmly, the black box within his left hand being rested down onto his lap.

Reno grinned happily when Rude had arrived on the scene...it was good to see the man again. He noticed then that the decendants had suddenly taken off and the fight seemed to be over for now.
"They're leavin?" He asked as he scratched the side of his face as his eyes scanned the sky for sight of the helicopter. "Thanks to Rufus no doubt...." He said as he smirked and crossed his arms, realizing that Rufus must have threatened the decendants with the endangering of Jenova which he had been previously holding out of the helicopter.
The redhead sighed a sigh of relief before looking over to Saerenna and giving her the 'thumbs up'. "Look's like everythin's okay for now, yo.."

Saerenna grinned at Reno and sat down, not questioning their luck and needing something more solid under her than just her feet. She looked up at the helicopter, hoping that the Desendant's retreat was one of defeat and not victory. "Well...that was...fun?" She muttered.
