Jessica smiled still a little groggy, "Oh I'm fine, I shouldn't have gotten out of bed until they let me I guess. I did have a dream though. I don't think that I've ever seen a moon that big and bright before. It was so perfect." She stared at the piece of candy a tad bit unsure, "Um I get that it isn't poison but what is it?" A girl who didn't know what candy was, thats right the existed. She had never had candy before, Jilin had never had a taste for the stuff and thus she had never been exposed to it before.

He noticed then that Jessica began to stir and awake. Perhaps his spell had been more potent than he had expected. "Who're you calling a puppy? I'm 22 years old." Durithill said indignantly when the girl spoke. He would have scowled, but his wolfish facial features didn't allow for the expression of such emotions. ☆✰★ Theƒσσℓ will look at the fingertip ✩

Synthic was surprised that Durithill and Kir shared the same age, but didn't mention it. It wasn't worth it.
She was more surprised that Jessica didn't know about sweets. What little girl doesn't know about candy? "That's hard candy. It slowly dissolves in your mouth and it tastes really sweet. Go ahead and try it, but don't swallow it right away or you'll choke," She said to Jessica.

Looking up Renata sat back eagerly on her heels, looking at her companions here. It was perfect- everyone except, well-Daniel. He wasn't here. She wasn't sure if he would ever be. She lost track of his soul sadly... she had known it wasn't i his body when the angel eclipse activated, but when it was destroyed... who knew? Maybe it had moved on... these thoughts, sad as they were made her want to cry, but she didn't. It was a good thing then if she couldn't sense it, maybe it meant he moved on and was happy in the after like for something, not one of the dead who linger around the living... yeah.
But not thinking about that anymore she smiled at Synthic as to say thank you, before turning her bright eyes to Jessica. She had had a pleasant dream... she couldn't have been happier for Jessica than. "Morning sleepy head," she said with a smile. "Missed you."

Jessica looked down at the little piece of candy in her hands and unwrapped it before popping it into her mouth. It didn't take long for the flavor to sink in and her eyes grew wide. She had never tasted anything like it before, instantly her pallet was submerged into ecstasy. Why didn't Jilin like this stuff? She smiled towards Renata and sat up fully, "I guess I was a little tired huh?" She poked herself in the torso in the general. Nothing hurt and it seemed that she couldn't even feel old scars. Curious, she started to remove her bandages revealing that her torso was perfect and unmarred. She placed the bandages to the side and fixed her clothes and hair the way she liked it. She stared at her garments for a moment afterwards reflecting on that dream, red was nice but that blue had been so amazing, she would have to see if she would find anything like it in the future. "Dare I ask who healed me?" She wasn't sure that she was going to like the answer.

(Exactly why Synthic is treating her like a child lol. Synthic might be the only middle aged woman in the RP. Is there any other characters around that have a normal lifespan and are middle aged around? I haven't seen any lol)
Synthic sighed before answering, "It was that wolf that helped you," She said, motioning to Durithill.

Durithill watched the enchange of hard candy with curiosity, wondering what the thing tasted like. Even though he was older than the girl, he had never had hard candy either. Or soft candy, for that matter. In fact, until a short time ago, he had never had cookies either. They were just some of those things that one didn't come across when they were living alone in the forest, and that people didn't generally feed wolves. "I am a human, and you all know it." Durithill said with an annoyed tone. Renata, the rabbit, and Synthic had all seen his human form after all, so they knew that for a fact. ☆✰★ Theƒσσℓ will look at the fingertip ✩

(Yeah, but I'm wondering about middle aged women? They seem to be few and far between lol. Unless Kevlar is a woman, but it sounds like a male name)
Synthic just rolled her eyes at Durithill. She was still a little angry at him for hurting Renata, even if he did heal her right after. This was just her way of getting back at him.
But then she noticed that he looked a little curiously towards the candy she was offering, "Want to try it?" She asked and brought out another one for him.

(lol. Yeah, the characters are usually within that range, or very old, like 1000 or something. I have three characters that are past the 100 mark(excluding Kieran, because I don't think he counts) and one other that's nearing it)
Synthic opened the candy for Durithill and held it out for him, still on the wrapper, "Just try not to swallow it right away. Hard candy is meant to stay in your mouth for a while until it dissolves," She said. I don't want to be responsible for any more deaths... she added to herself silently.

Some Might Say... [[...I actually can't think of anyone in that age range from me. The majority of my chars don't have normal life spans, though. Lupus is 42. I forget how old Drake is*. And Jet'Yol is reaching an elder age at around 200(He's a treant). But those are the only 'old' people I have. Especially when you look at Durrahn XD]] Natalia was still silent. But she looked confused at the candy. She wondered what it was, she was too low to the ground to get a good whiff of it or see it very well.[[In other news, I need to do a better job of keeping track of my chars. [I actually didn't remember Kevlar was that old xD But she was intended to be more of an adult. And I didn't think Kevlar sounded like a name at all xD I took that from a science textbook we're using, learning about polymers and such.]
Yuu waited and watched silently, as he always did and has done. He was interested in the candy Durithill had been offered. He had seen it before, and smelled it, as fokiri's often had it, and Milo was especially fond of sugary things, but he had never had it. Yuu's stomach growled quietly, and he realized he was hungry, thinking of food. Unconsciously, he whimpered quietly.

(Kevlar? Then you named your character after the material bullet-proof vests are made of? lol I think that's what it is)
Synthic sighed when she heard the whimpering, "It seems like everyone here wants candy," She joked, "Okay. I got plenty to go around," She said and took out another candy. She opened the wrapper and tossed the candy towards Yuu, expecting the creature to catch it.

Yuu was surprised when a piece of candy came flying toward him. He wasn't expecting that anyone would hear him, not even knowing how many of them knew he was there, or still there, as he'd been silent for some time. He barely caught the candy in his mouth, as he couldn't see well in the dark of the alley shadows, but he managed. He could see why Milo loved these, it was better than anything he'd been given in his life. These humans sure knew how to live.

Durithill took the candy cautiously from Synthic's hand and let it roll into his mouth. It was very sweet, like nothing he had ever tasted. It was too sweet, in fact. For one who had only been exposed to small amounts of sugar in his entire life, eating something composed entirely of sugar was not a pleasent experience. Durithill coughed out the piece of candy as he started to get a massive headache and he tried to scrape the rest of the sugar off of his tongue. ☆✰★ Theƒσσℓ will look at the fingertip ✩
