Attending classes? what kind of college student are you? confused
one who's trying to get his grades back up.
Good idea. You dont want to spend all that money and not do anything.
exactly. though what i want to do is still a mystery... confused
I dont understand how anyone could go to college and still not know what they want to do. To me, I think people should wait until they know, or think they know, and go then. I mean, what are you majoring in? how they hell did you decide to major in that?
i started as a philosophy major because i was interested in philosophy. then i figured out that philosophizing is not what i wanted to spend my life doing, so i switched to political science (again, out of interest). but this is DEFINITELY not for me, so now i don't really know what i'm gonna do
I understand that, its hard figuring out what you want to do, at least you had an idea before you entered college.

I still think it would be smarter to wait until you know what to do rather then just go into college hoping to stumble upon what you want. Switching majors is fine, I wasn't really talking about that, that was more just asking how on earth you could choose a major if you don't know what you want to do.

First two years just get the general classes out of the way anyway.
I suppose...I just dont see what the rush is, unless you get into a really good college.

Not everyone shares your ideals.
Besdies most people who wait to take time off from school never go back.

I know they dont share my ideals.

They don't go back because they are stupid, stupid people shouldn't bother going to college anyways.

How many people can you offend in one conversation?

There's plenty of other reasons.

I'm not saying everyone who doesn't go to college is stupid, just the people planning on it and never doing it.

don't tempt him, i'm fairly certain that he could get on a roll and alienate the entire world.

Indeed, but if you were smart you would have been putting money away for school a long time ago so money shouldn't have been an issue, most jobs would rather you go to school and could possibly work around the schedule, family situations don't last a lifetime usually, and having a life is no excuse.

Sometimes even saving isn't enough, especially if you don't have any extra to save or if you have to support others.

There are loans you can get, and other ways, even if you spend your life paying off dept. Going to college to get the job you desire is worth it.
