He nodded to her as he went to the controls of the tardis and pressed a few buttons but then stoped "Why would a portal from another dimension appear here? Why is there a road on a planet that has nothing else on it......hmmmm lets explore this after we check on your father alright?" he smiled looking to her as the tardis door shuts and he pulled a few levers and they went off back to earth landing near the hospital where Iris's father was.

Iris wasted absoulutly no time, running for the lobby, to the nurse's station. "Listen, I'm looking for Oliver Pierre. He was admitted here last night." She tried. the nurse calmly looked though her files as Iris watched. "Ah yes, Mr. Pierre. You must be his daughter." Iris nodded. "He talks about you all the time my dear. Don't worry, hes out of surgery and he'll pull though. Would you like to see him?" Iris nodded. "Okay, thats room 3T. And do give this to him. Its a diet plan his doctor made." Iris took the stack of papers, looking to the Professor. "He's okay, hes-" Suddenly a very burly middle-aged man came to Iris, grabbing her arm. "Where have you been young lady?" Iris smiled, hugging him. "Papa Ollie!" She screeched. Ollie smiled, hugging his Partner's daughter. About five years after Emma died, Oliver had met Ollie at his job, a janitor at the school Oliver taught at. After a year of dating, Ollie moved in with Iris and Oliver. Iris loved her "Step-daddy" And Ollie had always wanted a child. "How's Dad?" She asked. "Asking for you. Come on Kid, lets go." Iris turned to the Professor. "Professor, this is my father's partner, Ollie."

Ollie walked the three over to an elevator. "Oh, its been, Fourteen years now, hasn't it Iris?" Iris nodded. "Well, I was a Janitor at Oliver's school and I was the new guy. So I was cleaning out his Garbage cans and I found a picture Iris drew for her Daddy. I've kept it in my wallet all these years." He pulled out a picture. It was a stick figure of a little girl at a house at one side, the other of a guy stick figure who had little tears. "I miss you Daddy." The drawing said in child-ish handwriting. "I pulled some strings and Learned about the Pierres and then met my Lover." Ollie pulled Iris to him. "I gained a family and a lover all in one Professor." Iris smiled, shrugging.

"Sure, we will." Iris assured the Doctor, being almost dragged to her Father's room. "Iris, where's my chicken?" Oliver asked. He was a very skinny little man, about in his fifties. Iris hugged her Father, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "I'm here, Pops." She said, sitting on the edge of his bed. "Yea, but where's my chicken I called you for." Iris shrugged. "Daddy, you have a diet now you have to follow. Ollie, this is more for you than anything." She handed it to Ollie. "Iris, who's this?" Oliver asked. "Oh, this is The Professor, a friend of mine." Oliver nodded to the Professor. "Is he? Well, I'm happy to meet you sir." Oliver said, shaking the Professor's hand. "Daddy, are you okay?" Iris asked, fluffing his pillows. "I'm fine Honey, it was just like heartburn really. Ollie was the one who insisted to go to the hospital." Iris smiled at Ollie who was holding her father's hand. "Iris baby, would you please get me a soda?" Oliver asked. "You're not allowed to have soda, Oliver." Ollie pointed out, looking at the diet sheet. "We can stretch it I guess." Iris said, getting her wallet. "I'll be right back." Iris went out of the room, down to a soda machine. She turned to the Professor. "Is there something wrong? You seem on edge."

The Professor nodded "Well I am still thinking about that planet and how I even got here. Your family is wonderful, but tell me something, do you want to stay? Or maybe come with me to solve this little mystery. No pressure, Iris, you were pulled along against your will and I won't pressure coming with me. " The professor smiled to her.

The Professor sighed and caught her and carried her over to a couch to lay on and watched her as she slept thinking of just leaving her to have a good life with her family.

While this was happening, Ollie and Oliver were talking. "Ollie, I think I may be ready to adopt." Ollie looked up from his book. "What makes you want that?" He asked. Oliver shrugged. "I just always wanted us to raise a baby together from the beginning. I mean, I loved having Iris around as a child but she was always...Emma's kid. Not ours. And I think we should have one ourselves." Ollie smiled, putting his arms around his lover. "Lets do it!" He cheered.
Meanwhile Iris woke up. "Did I do it again?" She sighed. "Now, we were talking about-" She got up, pacing the hall. She looked to the soda Machine. "Okay, soda machine stole my money or I didn't-" She pressed a button, a soda falling out. She turned to the Doctor. "Ah! Yes, I'd love to travel with you!" She said, getting the soda out of the hatch. "What's the worse that can happen with that one dimension we ran into anyway?"

Iris happily took a jelly bean. "Sweet, strawberry. Listen, I think we should leave soon and-" "Iris!" Iris looked up to see a woman staring at the two of them. "Why Lara, its been so long." Iris exclaimed with false cheer. "What's been going on with you?" She asked, going to give Lara a hug. Though the hug was taken further by a kiss for Lara, Iris carried it out well. "Who's this?" Lara asked. Iris struggled for an answer. "My-uh-My-Boyfriend, Professor Smith." She said.

Lara wrapped her arms arounds Iris' waist. "We used to date about a year ago, didn't we Quieda?" Iris shifted away. "Yes, but that was a while ago, wasn't it?" She said, sitting next to the Professor. Lara frowned, going to the charts in her hand. "Well, your father's doing well, he could leave the hospital tomorrow. Make sure he takes good care of himself." She thrust the folder into her former lover's hands. Lara sighed, turning to the Professor. "I just hope Iris doesn't jilt you too. Its just a tragedy that tounge, that body goes to anthoer." She said, flouncing away.
Iris sighed, turning to the professor. "Thanks." She said.
