Trivii blinked some.... well Rades would definately explain the strong tug she had felt... "Well then, I guess we should try to track the kids down, it would probably put us closer to the others, and with," She nods to the Mask child a little inquizitively, "Zahar's help it'll take less time to find them... and we might run into the others."
"No we're scientists and generally stuck doing lab work. Its a pleasure. Kataio, He's Aricin" Trivii gestures at the lanky guy beside her (very human), "and I'm Trivii. And If you need us, we can help." Her voice sounds very deffinate, making it clear that the two of them would help, no questions asked. "Why don't you and the little one take lead and point? Since she's in contact with the other kids."
Aricin smiled grimmly and nodded his agreement.

Haisyn woke with a jerk, it sounded like someone was yelling right in her ear... or... her head. She glanced around the room frantically, still a little groggy. Ashy?!
I'm ok! I had to come find Fauve, she got lost last night trying to find the guy who hurt me...
Then what...
I saw Rade tracks on the way over here and apparently the group that was out looking for Fauve found them instead.
She jerked again, finally getting to her feet. Are you two ok?!
We're fine! We're up a tree too far for critters that big to follow. I'd go down and help but if there's more Rade out I don't want to get caught with just me and Fauve trying to fight of one... So that's why I'm calling you to help. All you really gotta do is follow my direction sense to find them, they're almost straight between us and camp...
Haisyn sighed and got to her feet. Atleast she'd had some sleep. She grabbed Hellrazer and headed out of the small house, passing the group outside who still seemed to be uncertain of where they were going. The mask girl tugging on Kata seemed quite insistent, though... "Kata, whatever she's saying, she's probably got a point. If you wait too long there might not be anything left to fight... or there might not be any friends left to save." With that Haisyn strode past them and into the trees. Kinda rude, sure, but she wanted to make sure there would be friends left to save.

Kaliska pulled Galilee closer to her, "Great....I'm gonna be Meow-Mix. I don't have a weapon....."
Galilee sighed and reached up into Kaliska's pack. He pulled out a bone handled hunting knife and hnaded to her, Idiot.
He turned and looked at Nika, placing a hand on his shoulder to steady him.
Kaliska looked at the hunting knife, small but sharp. "Well, okay..." She looked up to see where the Rade were now.

It was starting to work, Io thought to herself as she raced to the others His power wasn't what it had been once, limited to a small area instead of the large ground he had once covered, but the cats were slowing, and that was all that mattered. She notched her bow as she ran, aiming at the cat to the left of them.
He didn't even see her before the arrow tore through his throat, cutting his voice off mid-scream. He stumbled, drunkenly weaving even as another arrow shot through his eye.
One of the others, the one Cinderfae hadn't shot, roared in outrage, turning and bounding towards Io. He was slow, slowed by the time mask.
Then she heard the voice.
Kata and I are coming.
And her hand froze.

Kaliksa pointed, "There's Io!"
Galilee looked where his guardian pointed then nudged Nika and pointed too.

Nika felt a hand on his shoulder and immediately felt a bit better. The rade were slowing down! Had he done that? Wow...
He heard Kali say Io had showed up but he understood why he was doing this now and he needed to focus. Theit little group of people might be able to get away safely.
He couldn't help but turn when Galilee nudged him. Io! Why had she stopped? Move! Why didn't she move? A rade was headed right for her... A strange feeling of helplessness flooded through him and he almost lost the image in his mind. The image that was slowing everything down, the image that was the only thing keeping that rade from killing Io.
Quickly he forced his mind to clamp onto the image of the rade racing, very slowly, towards Io. He focused entirely on making him slow down. Hoping it would give Io enough time to come back to reality. All of his energy was focused entirely on keeping that thing away from her.

Galilee growled inwardly and grabbed the hunting knife from his guardian. He charged towards the rade that was slowly racing toward Io. He had no idea what he was doing, but he wasn't going to let her get hurt. He jumped on the beast's back and plunged the knife in to the ribs.
Kaliska cried out when the knife was grabbed, then stared in disbelief for two beats at her ward. "Holy s**t..."
She charged after him, "Crap! Oh crap! Galilee....get back from there...run!"

Galilee's movement snapped Io out of her shock and she let the arrow fly, shooting into the chest of the Rade. The Rade roared, bucking like a horse. Io shot again, hoping that Galilee would be able to hold on.
This one wasn't dying easily... And the third, the one that had been shot, was turning slowly, as if ready to join the fight.

Galilee held on, withdrawing the blade. He was about to plunge it again into the eyes, then shifted and sheathed it into the eye. He tried to tune out his guardian yelling at him - to concentrate on the task at hand.
Kaliska stopped and saw that rade that had been shot was turning now. she looked back at her friends. "Oi, that one's heading towards them too! Someone give me a gun...or something!"

*Cinder heard Kali cry out, snapping around she saw the Rade charging, carefully taking aim she let off a shot of her blaster. The shot hit true and the smell of burnt flesh filled the air a moment. The rade however, didn't fall*
What are these...super rade *she mumbled to herself and then fired three more shots at the creature. Finally, it fell to the ground not far from the group, smoking slightly*
Thanks, Kali! *Cinder calls out*
*Kasai was angry over Nika's comments. He had never seen battle before...and didn't know what a Rade was. Determined to show his worth he stood close to Gee, clutching the knife that Cinder had given him. If any of them charged up here he would be ready.*

"No problem, Cin," Kali breathed, still watching her ward. "Now if I can get him to stop his rodeo."
((heheh....told people I'd be back and settle down once my main character got flight. I got bored with City of Heroes today....so now I'm sitting here like a hawk.))

G_E watched everything in front of her, standing motionless and completely speachless. Everybody else was doing their part in defending each other... even the children were determinded to fight and she just stood there. Her pulse thudded in her ears. There was so much blood... it was horrible. When they'd been inside the ruins it was dark and she hadn't been able to see the blood but now the sun was rising and she could see blood everywhere.
Swaying a bit she snatched her daggers out of her boots with proffesional ease. Now was not the time to be sensitive.
She glanced at Cinder and Merci' and then to Galilee and the rade, "Could you blow up it's feet? Without hurting Galilee of course. It wouldn't be able to move then..."
She turned her eyes to her boy. He looked exhausted.
Nika wanted so much to close his eyes and rest but he knew that the images in his head would fade if he so much as moved. He shoudn't have put so much energy into that attempt at saving Io, besides Galilee had been able to distract the rade. There was only one left now... if he could make it go slower then it already was maybe the others could kill it.

Galilee managed to wrench the knife out of the socket, then he grabbed the scruff of the rade. He quickly switched the knife from hand to hand and prepared to attack the other eye.
Kaliska looked at Gee, "Blow it's fee with what?"

Merci shook her head and turned to make sure that the ones that were down were really dead, She figured that the other girls and Io had everything else covered. She walked over to the one still smoking from Cinder's blaster, nudging it with a toe. When she felt confident that it was indeed dead and that the others were capable of taking care of the rest she holstered her gun and turned back to the task at hand. She was at this point not so much afraid as furious that Fauve would run off and cause this much of a problem for the rest of the colonists. She wasn't sure anyone was going to follow her, and at this point she didn't much care, she did know that she was going to appologize to everyone for this enitre mess and reem her "Daughter" out feircely.
Inathe dove from the trees following Merci and dropping back down on her shoulder, happy enough that she was going in the right direction and that they would be away from the gore and loud noises.
Fauve shifted uncomfortably in the tree and glanced over at her sister, she felt the shift in Merci's mood and wasn't entirely sure she wanted to be found anymore.

Kata shruged and yelled to the other two, "Let's go then!" She got Zahar to hop on her back, piggy back style, and started after Haisyn.
Zahar clenched Kata's sides and wrapped her arms about Kata's neck, holding on for fear of falling. This is not very lady like, Zahar whispered again knowing they were heading the right direction.
Kata pulled out her whip from her jacket pocket, she had figured ti would be better for distance attacks with Zahar around. If she had to she would call her sword again. Keeping it coiled as she ran she hoped the other two were following close. She couldn't afford to loose anyone, not even people she hardly knew.
