"I'm not anti-social... I just get nervous around people... I know a few people in Music Appreciation and in the college orchestra band... but no one really close... dad's kinda the same way... I think he's actually worse... ever since mom died..." she stated, still looking at the floor.

Lilly smiled and pulled her hands away gently. “I guess you are right.” She grabbed up her sketch book, and took his hand in hers. “I’ll show you my studio space.” She said and grinned. She led him the short ways threw the woods until she reached her house. The basement door was unlocked, so she opened the door wide and led him inside. The entire basement was an artist’s paradise. The floors were covered in tarps that were speckled with paint. Every few feet another painting was setup and half finished. “What do you think?” she asked and released him.

"Beautiful. Marvelous. Magnificent! Fantastic!" Traigéide hummed happily to himself as he moved from piece to piece, enthralled with her work. He is so pleased that, after a few moments he begins to skip and dance from piece to piece. "You are so perfect. Have I told you this yet? So perfect, Lilly." He murmurs as he touches a canvas with a work that particularly draws him. Much like the sketch she'd made of him, this piece had a flow, a beautiful, fanciful swirl of life that went beyond what life itself could realistically capture.

"Well, we're going to have to find you some friends then. You know," he began to talk to himself, "Traigéide has a new client. Maybe I could introduce you. She is a drawer. What do you think?"

"I... guess so...?" Alexandra replied hesitantly. "And... I can call dad... and maybe you could go with me to his house for... dinner...?" she suggested.

Lilly blushed, she was happy to have some on recognize her talent and she would do anything for complements. "Thank you." She murmured and set her stuff down before snatching up a new stretched and gessoed canvas from against the wall. She placed it on an empty easel and took out the pencil from behind her ear. "Pose for me?" She asked kindly. She held the pencil close to the canvas ready to capture his essence in a moments notice.

"Oh, of course, of course." Traigéide murmurs, still staring at one of the pictures. Then he twirls away from that canvas, drops to his knees and leans back in a dynamic pose. "How is this, lovely Lilly?" Traigéide was unnaturally loose and flexible; unnatural for a human at any rate. He was certain he could hold this pose for half the day if he needed to.

"Great, perfect." She said and her pencil sketched out the basic lines before she took up her pallet and brush and started to paint. Once working she was completely silent except for the brush fluttering on the stark white canvas. She glanced from canvas to model every few seconds. Once she had the base colors down she went into detail work. She bit her lip and her brush moved smoothly adding opposing colors to the shapes. She went to refill her pallet and looked back at him while she did. "You’re gorgeous." She said in a high and fun voice. She walked back to her painting and the tip of her brush on the page.

Traigéide laughs as Lilly proclaims him gorgeous. "Am I? I think you are gorgeous." Lilly was probably not what some would call a conventional beauty, but Traigéide was far from conventional. He enjoyed watching her sketch and paint. He smiled softly when Lilly bit her lip in concentration. The pleasing lilt of her voice when she spoke to him; all of this was beauty to Traigéide. "I could watch you paint all day, dearest little flower."

"If you get to call me little flower than I get to call you Blue god." She laughed and flicked her brush quicker. She started to focus more of the canvas and less and less on him. “And I do believe that you, Blue God have a vision impairment.” She picked up a softer brush and started to add shadows. She used blue and black to give his figure depth and life. It was as if the picture started to come to life. She used the same brush to start adding major highlights and she used her fingers as well to manipulate the paints on the page.

"A god? Hardly. But I shall let you call me whatever you like, for I certainly intend to call you my little flower, Lilly. A vision impairment? Perhaps you are right; at this very moment I can only see you." Traigéide smiled wide. He was certain he knew why Lilly had said such, but he would never concede to her opinion of herself. Where Traigéide saw beauty, he embraced it, he claimed it. Which did explain his unusual collection of jewelry. People were so much more difficult to claim, of course... especially if he was only meant to claim one at a time! Ah, such was life. Nothing worth having was easy to acquire.

Kathryn Moondancer "Ohhhh, so you play based on how you feel! That's so much better than some of those so-called artists out these days! I can't wait to see what you create!" Erys said with a grin. "So where are we going?" Smiling slightly in the muse's direction Leaya replyed, "To the park....to be honest I was going there to find some inspiration.....looks like it found me."

Kathryn Moondancer [I'm reposting this because I don't think my muse ever actually saw it. And I don't know where the person playing the artist with my muse character has wandered off to... if they don't let me know if they need a repost or something in the next few days then I may just drop my muse character altogether and only play my artist....] Kathryn Moondancer "Um... okay... so what do we tell him then?" she asked. (( I'm so sorry for holding you up. I've been sick for the last few days and I didn't exactly feel like getting on Gaia.))
