Annora smiled and blushed down at the young girl. "Why thank you. You are quite cute yourself. And yes I am looking for John. Is he home?" She asked as she smiled at the little girl. Annora wanted to push past her and go find, John herself. But that would be rude. "May I come in?" Annora asked a little pushy.

His little sister gasped. Oh my gosh!! Is that black eye liner?! Where'd you get that i've been looking all over for some but every store was sold out!! Your soooo lucky! Oh em gee! She squeeled i love your shoes!!!" She said looking down at her feet grinning. "And your shirt!!!"

Annora smiled a crooked smile. "Um.. I got it at Goth Topic..." She said looking down at the little girl. "Aren't you a little young to be into the whole goth thing?" She asked her. Stepping inside, she looked around. "Um.. So John... is he here..." She asked the little girl. Man... She's worse than a freshman... She thought to herself.

Connor mumbled incoherently, growling lightly. Usually when someone came into contact with him while he slept, he'd immediately awaken and go into self-defense mode. But he was comfortable with Emma. So he didn't awake as violently as her usually did, but just barely drifted into conciousness. He was still in a groggy state though. Without really thinking, he sat up and reach out toward her, wrapping his arms around her and falling back onto his back with her at his side. "Hey." His voice was huskier than usual due to his tiredness, and his eyes remained closed.

Emma giggled when she was brought down by the sleepy Connor and took her hand out of his hair. "So, Mr. Sleepy Head, what are you doing all the way out here doing the same thing that I was just doing a few minutes ago?" she questioned as she snuggled into his chest like how a tiny cat would. Emma brought her head up to look at Connor's face an blushed when she saw how pretty handsome he looked at the moment. She stopped the thought and waited for Connor's answer.

A lazy smile crept upon Connor's face as he chuckled slowly, shrugging his broad shoulders and holding Emma close to him. "Well, I was jogging and I got tired. So I went to sleep here." To him, it didn't seem like a reckless thing to do at all. He could protect himself just fine, and most didn't mess with a guy his height anyway. A nearly inaudible sound reached his ears, which turned out to be his iPod. Which was still running. Maybe I should do this more often, if I can wake up and hold Emma for a while! Connor grinned at the thought.

"That's funny because I was coming back from dance class and I got tired, so I went to sleep right on the other side of this tree," Emma stated with a laugh as she closed her eyes. "I just got up right now though because I'm going wakeboarding later today so I needed to head home and get ready," she explained quietly, finding comfort in Connor's arms.

Connor gave a low grunt of affirmation, tilting his head to the right at the mention of wakeboarding. "Wakeboardin'?" He blinked, an expression of curious confusion written upon his face. "Oh! That surfin' with a rope that you looked so good at in that picture!" Realization struck him and he smiled sheepishly, blushing slightly.

Emma blushed at the compliment but nodded. "Yeah that thing, do you want to tag along? I can teach you how to do it. It's pretty fun!" she offered as she opened her eyes, looking up at the sky through the leaves of the tree.

Connor nodded, offering a lopsided smile. "Sure, if you want me to. I'll probably fall flat and break myself, but oh well." A playful grin lit his face and he laughed quietly. He stared up toward the sky as well, just as a sudden urge gripped him. Removing his left arm from it's place around Emma, he held his hand upward, fingers splayed out as if he was trying to grip the leaves above. His right arm kept it's hold around Emma though.

Emma stayed silent as she watched Connor reach his hand out towards the sky. She slightly looked up to view Connor's face and flushed red again. Quickly, she looked back towards Connor's hand and reached one of her hands up as well, but instead of trying to grip the sky, she gripped Connor's hand with a blush. What is this that I'm feeling?

Connor blinked as her hand gripped his, glancing toward her. The sight of her blush greeted him, causing a warm smile to nestle itself on his lips. Look back up at their connected hands, he intertwined their fingers, the sound of his own heartbeat exceeding it's usual speed-limit resounding in his ears.

Emma started to get uncomfortably nervous so she quickly stood up, breaking out of Connor's hold, and brushed herself off. "We should get going before we get too late to go," she stated as she looked down at her dance shoes, trying to contain her blush. Why am I feeling this way? Do I like him as more than a friend?

Connor blinked again but stood anyway, shrugging. "Alrighty." Though a slight blush of his own littered his cheeks, he was still curious about her blush. He hadn't had mch luck figuring out his own feelings for her, but he knew deep down that his feelings for her were beyond that of a friend's.

Emma nodded and got on her bike, giving Connor the helmet before doing so. Next thing they knew, they were at Emma's house. "Hi mom! I brought a friend over!" she shouted as she walked int the door with Connor trailing behind. Her mother immediately came out wearing an apron and a smile. "Hello deary," her mom introduced, giving Connor a hug. "Mom, this is Connor. Connor, this is my mom," Emma introduced with a bright smile.
