The man seemed to relax a little as he looked at the woman. "Well...there is some commotion going on in the hangar bay..."
Roth now seemed genuinely interested. "Really? Oh dear! What kind of commotion?"
"Word has it that someone tipped off the Imperial Garrison about contraband being hidden in there. I saw an imperial officer and three stormtroopers go in to investigate, along with a repulsor sled. Must be something heavy in there."
Roth chewed on this information for a bit and then nodded to the women to let him go. "Well then. Thank you old chap! Seems this is something that Imperial Customs has a right to know about. Cant let the Navy have all the fun."
"Imperial customs?"
"Correct. I am Imperial Customs Special Investigator Zayne Cooper and you have just aided a major Imperial Investigation!"
The man blinked and then gestured to the surrounding alien women in a confused manner.
"Oh them? Why their my personal secretaries and bodyguards. Got to be clever around those bloody smugglers, ol' bean. Keep them guessing. They'll never suspect a nubile alien female as being capable of snapping their traitorous spines like a plastic fork. Why Jahan there snapped a Jedi's head clean off his shoulders with her bare hands. Keeps the man's saber as a trophy dont you know. one of her quaint non-human customs." Roth gave a somewhat saddened sigh. "Well I suppose Kenobi had it comming to him. Thats what happens to the emperor's enemies, eh Jahan?"
The man was nervous and wide eyed again as he looked at the women.
Roth laughed and patted the man on the shoulder. "Dont worry, ol' chap. You've done us and the Empire a great favor. Now we must go and take care of buisness. Have a good day, citizen."
Roth motioned for the girls to follow as he began striding purposefully towards the hangar. When they were a safe distance away his cheery expression dropped.
"Looks like the empire might beat us to the punch after all. I suppose fooling them might be out of the question at this point..."

Jahan tried her best to keep a straight face as Roth glorified her murder of the great general of the Jedi order, Obiwan Kenobi. She had seen him once or twice when she was a padawan at the Temple and remembered him as a kind, if a little stiff, man. Instead of tearing up at the thought that he was most likely dead, along with all of her closest friends, mentors and comrades, she bared her pointed teeth in what she hoped would come off as a menacing smile to the man then followed Roth towards the hanger.
"It most likely is. Stormtroopers are a heartless bunch of..." she shut her mouth, still writhing inside from the reminder of Order 66. "They probably wont be fooled by our act." she finished. "If Maya's transport could meet us here at the hanger we could blast our way in, get the item and get onto her ship and get out before anyone could responde. Maybe." She frowned. It was a long shot but no other ideas were presenting themselves.

Stopping at the large, closed doors to the hangar, Roth drew his pistol and Nolaa drew her recently aquired carbine. "So you want me to call in the pick-up before we clear the bay?" Roth asked, seeking a group decision.

“That might be a good idea.” Ember replied, digging in her carryall for her beloved blaster pistol.

"I agree. Things could get very hot, very quickly and I just dont' mean the company I'm currently keeping." she gave a wry grin to Ember and Nolaa then closed her eyes and tried to sense what lay beyond the door. It was no use; the blast doors were too thick and her training with the Force limited. With a sigh she opened her eyes and dug her carbine out of her bag. "I sense nothing but the door, unfortunately. We'll be going in blind; I hate going anywhere blind." she grumbled a bit but got ready to enter the room.

"All right." Roth replied. Taking up his comlink he dialed in the number Maya had given him and waited.
"Hello.....Roth Arlos...yes I'm one of Maya's friends. Is this our ride?....Good. Might want to start flying over to here. We're about to secure the cargo....Don't worry about that, just get over here. Roth out." Clicking his comn off, Roth armed his piece and stepped a bit away from the door.
"Alright. We know theres an Imperial Officer leading a group of stormtroopers in there along with a repulsor sled. Our priority Targets are the Pilot of the Sled and the Officer. Kill the Officer and the troops will be demoralized. Kill the Pilot and we remove their heavy support. It'll have no enclosed cockpit but it probably has cannon. Nolaa, Jahan, you two and I will engage the enemy. Ember, you locate that crate of alchohol. Understand?"

“Understood.” Ember clicked the safety off on her blaster and returned Jahan’s grin with one of her own. She stood to one side of the door. “Ready when you are.”

Nolaa giggled a bit at the coment and flicked her carbine to auto, her grin becoming rather bloodthirsty in nature.
Roth sighed, somewhat ill at ease. "Here it is: My first act of sedition against the Empire. Who knew I would slip this far. Once a proud Ship Captain with his entire career ahead of him, now a disheveled one legged washout about to gun down his former comrades over contraband."
He shook his head to clear it of such thoughts and adjusted his cap, eyes narrowing in determination. "I believe the appropriate battle cry here is "For the Republic." Correct me if I'm wrong."

Embers eyes softened as she looked at Roth. “I’m sorry Roth, but the Empire is an evil organization bent on galactic domination and making it a homo-sapiens only club where all others are treated as second class citizens and slaves.” She poured kindness into her voice in hopes he would relax. “And I think you’re more of a man than you’re giving yourself credit for.” She leaned towards him and kisses him lightly on the cheek. “For luck.” She said. “And the Republic.”

"No, that sounds perfect to me." Jahan smiled as she moved to one side of Roth, Nolaa on the other. "For the Republic." She echoed.

"For da Republik" Nolaa agreed as she hit the door open control.
The massive hangar smells of exhaust fumes and spilled coolant and appears to have seen quite a bit of activity recently. Crates stand stacked up throughout the hangar, waiting for whatever shuttle is to transport them down to the surface. Three doors lead off the left side of the room; the bottom two are close together, and the top door leads into a control room with a transparent window overlooking the hangar itself. Three Troopers were watching a Repulsor sled pull a hovering slab out of the second of the two nearest doors with a tow cable. Nearby an Imperial officer was barking orders about extracting the contraband.

As the doors slid open Jahan remembered what Roth had said about heavy guns on the sled and decided to concentrate on that first. She rushed in as far as she felt was 'safe' and opened fire with the heavy carbine before the troopers had time to even raise their own weapons, firing a devastating blast of plasma at the pilot. Her training as a scout aided her well now as her tie to the Force seemed tenuous at best. The pilot screamed and burned as the plasma hit him then slumped over the controls, smoking. She aimed her gun at the remaining troops in readiness for the next move, a fierce smile on her bronze-skinned face.

Spying the Officer, Roth bolted for the cover of some nearby crates and then snapped off a shot at the man. The shot goes wide past the officer unfortunately.

Ember stepped into the hanger bay and went down to one knee, blaster held in one hand with the other cupping the base of the grip, holding it steady as she sighted down along the barrel at the officer who had been shouting out orders. For a split second, she the thought of taking aim at him through her scope crossed her mind, but she shook the thought out of her head as Roth’s shot missed its mark. Instead, she squeezed the DL-44’s firing stud. Her weapon thundered as it spat out a bolt of energy at her target.

The Imperial took a second shot in his direction unflinchingly. Nolaa moved up to the second stack of crates and, firing over them, pasted the stormtroopers with a stream of crimson light. The two troopers nearest to the Imperial officer go down under the attack. "E chuta, stoopas!!" the Twi'lek yelled cheerfully at her foes, watching them fall.
