You can drink any animal of course," She explained, "but sometimes there a certain spieces that you'lll perfer." Lee smiled and pointed to herself. "Take me for example. When I feed, I perfer wild horses."

Lee stared after Mine. "Oh dear." She was worried about her and Sabriel. She looked at Marcus. "can you check on Sabriel and make sure she's ok? I'll go after Mine." Lee asked and she sprinted after Mine. Marcus nodded. He walked over to the tree Sabriel was hiding in when Lee left. He looked inside and saw her trembling. "She's gone. It's ok. It's safe to come out now Sabriel." He held his hand out to her.

Sabriel stared at his hand with wide eyes. She pressed farther into her makeshift shelter, this wasn't happening. It was a dream. A horrible dream that would go away if she could just make it to her ATV. Marcus backed off and put his hands up in front of him. Sabriel felt relief wash over her. This wasn't a dangerous situation. She tensed her muscles and pushed herself off the ground. She push passed Marcus and leaned heavily on the trees she used to get to her ATV. Once there, she kicked it to life and rode off, towards La Push, where she was staying with her father's long time friend, Billy Black.

"Oh...ok..." she said with uncertainty and followed Lee into the woods. She had just been feeding on anything that moved. She never imagined she had a preference.

"Leo, you might want to stay her. I can't garinty that you won't get hurt while we hunt." Lee turned back to Mine. "Let's go. We need to be somewhere where the arn't any humans near-by."
She sniffed the air. The sent of human was not in the east. "Follow me." Lee said to Mine and she ran to the east.

Mine' followed Lee nervously deeper into the woods. She was parched ready to pounce on anything. As she felt the caresses of the tree branches on her, the smell of everything, the music of everything. She could even smell all the little animals scurry away from her knowing her scent well enough. She could feel the heat emanate off them their blood...It didn't intrigue her nearly as that delicious looking girl...
"Snap out of it mine'," she told herself feeling her pet's thought agreeing with her.

Lee stopped far into the Olmpic mountains. There was no sent of humans, but plenty of animals were there. She turned to face Mine. "Alright. We'll start here."

Mine' knew how to hunt but this was quite a different experience. Trying to motivate herself to hunt animal blood was like trying to feed a starving dog a rubber bone...But she had gone without food for so dangerously long... She turned to Lee. "Ok....I'm ready."

"Ok, no do what you dowhen you hunt, but listen to the sound of the animals in the forest. Let your senses take over." Lee told her, and she did the same. Her thirst took her and she sensed a herd of deer near by. Lee ran and pounced on one and broke it's spine, instantly killing it. She sunk her razor sharp teeth into it's fleash and feasted on the deer's blood .

Mine' looked on in curiosity...She did it so easily and the smell of blood was so tempting. A growl erupted from her throat as her own thirst took over. "Listen, listen," was what her bat reminded her.
I am....she thought.
She heard the rustling of the trees, smell the water on the branches, feel the moonlight on her skin...She felt the movement of little animals and could feel her venom increase in hunger for anything.
Her feet moved towards the nearest thing she felt move and she pounced sinking her teeth into it before she looked and drained it of all she could. There was a soft caress of what she thought may have been claws and when she opened her eyes, the carcass of a mountain lion stood before her.

Lee stood up and followed the new sent of blood and looked at Mine. "Not so hard no, is it." She smiled, her now bright gold eyes sparkling. She look at Mine's eyes and giggled a twinkling laugh. "The red in your eyes is almost gone, Mine."
