Agni folllowed suit, drizzling a light vinigrette onto his salad. When he finished his salad, he stood and excused himself, going back into a different part of the cavern and bringing back a covered dish. "Whenever you are ready for the main course, Goddess, feel free to let me know."

She finished up her salad and smiled "I think I could handle the main course now. It smells divine."

Agni uncovered a large dish to reveal a fried rice mix, complete with chuncks of vegatables and small bits of chicken. "It's nothing very fancy, but I thought it would be appropriate for a first date."

Agni picked up the serving spoon and put a small portion on her plate, then a portion on his. "More wine?"

Agni smiled and poured more wine into Mackenzie's goblet. "Thank you, Goddess. To have praise from one such as you is something I won't likely forget." He poured a little more wine in his goblet and sat down, digging into his own plate of rice.

Mackenzie made her way to Agni's cave. She had visited with her family and startled her sisters with the news she was.. involved... seriously with someone. Of course they all want to meet him now... and maybe she'd let them... one day.
