"What, you didn't want to come back and see me?" I asked, pouting. Yeah, I was twisting his words a little bit... but if I made him feel guilty, he'd feel the need to make it up to me later. I smothered a grin threatening to curve my lips.
((There's a hospital; it is St. Louis. Just not in the Riverfront itself.... Damn, school already? :O))

Teddy blinked and then just smiled. The image of Markus pouting seemed a little ludicrous to him. He presses a shy little kiss to that pout. "I wanted to see you." And yet, he knew he couldn't afford to get bitten again so soon. He should have waited a few days, at least... He really didn't have the best self preservation skills at all.

((Yeah, but Teddy has no excuse. xd Sam's just naive; Teddy knows better. He's just strongly attracted to Markus. Or the idea of actually getting attention like that from a hot guy. Both; definitely both. Poor, desperate little bugger.))

I grabbed his hands and held him to me. "If you're worried I need to feed so soon," I said in his ear, "then you don't have anything to worry about. I don't need to feed again for a while. Relax. This could be... normal." I laughed softly at the use of a word that didn't seem to fit.

"Uh..." I began blushing and saying quietly under my breath, "I'm fairly good friends with the person at the ticket booth..." I dug my toe into the ground and kept my eyes low. I bent down and began to pick her up, pulling her over my shoulder, "C'mon, I'm taking you to the club, we'll figure out something."

She resumed her former position.
"It's illegal, Kit. Nobody gets a discount, that isn't fair play. And I don't have the twenty dollars to bribe the bartender that I'm not loitering!"

Teddy smiled and relaxed some. "I was all nervous for no reason. I really don't know anything about vampires, I guess." At this rate, he was going to have to keep a checklist of all the things he'd assumed wrong!

He was surprised when the female said she was going to stat with him, he'd never been liked, always shoved away for his odd way of caring for animals.((okay, kinda sappy I know, but it'll change fast, I think.)) "Alright, well what is it you need to eat, if you're going to be of any use, you need to stay concious." He chuckled slightly at his joke.

Sam gave a loud 'GWAH' sound, looked shocked, and then began to twiddle her fingers and look away nervously.
"I-I eat sexual tension in large doses. I'm a celibate half succubus."
She had an idea, but it was in that caged away section of her mind.[[haha xD]]
Sam sighed.
"That's why I was panicking when I realized that Kit's performances at the strip club were over, since that's when I rake in my 'food'."
