" I hate walks! " Oliver said with a rather cold face as he cletched his fists, like he was ready to fight Makie or something. Then a smile came on his face and he slightly tilted his head, he was joking around. "Is what Feena would say" he laughed as he went over to the bench and picked up his little kitty bag.
Oliver and Feena never bonded well, Feena just hates it that he his soo energetic and selfish. She can't stand that, so she keeps her distance from Oliver as long as possible. Oliver really would love to be more friends than being an enemy with Feena. He doesn't really understand why Feena hates him and why he somestimes can be selfish.
"What is it Makie? What do you want to tell me?" he asked with slight concern. He doesn't know if Makie came to him if she is in trouble or if she is hurt. He needs to make sure since Makie is his friend. And sometimes Makie is hard to predict. Oliver smiled as he took Makie's right hand and he started to walk deeper into the courtyard.
"Common! Lets go!" he said not waiting for Makie to answer his question that he asked a few minutes ago. It seems that the tree's in the courtyard was changing colors and pumpkins were being carved. That would only mean Fall has come and that Holoween was on the doorstep. He looked back at Makie to see if she was okay.
"Hey! Look the leaves are changing into pretty colors!!" he exclaimed as he pointed at random tree's that were changing, almost like a catapillar changing into a beautiful butterfly.
((This one is okay, but i could of done better))

A soft sigh carried over the winds of the Courtyard, very small and somewhat bored sounding. Ekail, wearing his normal attire of a black jacket, shirt, jeans and a pair of odd looking leather shoes, was laying on a bench, his eyes closed. His hair was softly swaying in the cool fall breeze that carried across the courtyard, sending the leaves scattered about the place into a small tornado of colors.
He lifted his head slightly, only to put his right hand under it to cushion it from the rather hard wooden bench. He seemed more bored then tired, seeking sleep as if to just propel time forward to a more interesting event. Thats rather how it seemed here, lately, boredom galore and a lot of time to himself. With an annoyed growl, he brushed yet another pile of leaves off his face. The tree nearby seemed to be TRYING to drop as many leaves on his as possible, and he was already looking like..well..A human shaped pile of leaves with a face.

Kayla walked into the courtyard, with a book, as always. She was humming to herself softly, having just left the cafeteria. She walked over to the grass, sitting at the trunk of a tree, pressing her back against it. She opened her book, beginning to flip through the pages, still humming to herself. She jumped slightly as a leaf fell down from the tree and onto her page. She smiled, picking up the red colored leaf and placing it on the grass beside her before she began to resume reading. She then sneezed and then sneezed again. "Excuse me," she said quietly to herself, sniffing.

Ekail opened his right eye slowly, finding the source of the offending noise that drew him out of his boredom induced dozing state. He grimaced silently as the girl sneezed again, then said something in a slightly whisper. Ekail mumbled something about 'people not dressing properly' and sat up. He shrugged out of his coat and balled it up slightly, making sure he didn't crush his cigarettes in the process.
He lifted his hand back, and in a display of what could only be called 'Extreme accuracy', managed to throw the jacket so it landed perfectly unfoled, right ontrop of her head. He smirked, and said "Put that on before you catch a cold." in a voice that seemed endlessly deep, yet soft. He lay back down in his relaxed position, not really caring to speak to the girl, or even wait for a thank you.
He mumbled annoyedly, and sat up and then sat properly on the bench. He'd been drawn out of his daze long enough to shake it, leaving him without the prospect of sleep for a few more days atleast. He cast a small glance to the girl, to observe her reaction to his, even to himself, unnatural display of kindness.

Kayla had returned to reading, when she was suddenly attack by a jacket. She heard the words 'Put that on before you catch a cold' and slowly obeyed the words. She put on the jacket and then pulled her long brown hair out, hating it to be inbetween herself and the jacket. She looked over to where the jacket had flown from and smiled. She was feeling alot warmer, not that she had been cold in the first place. "Thank you," she said, still smiling before she returned to her book.

Ekail chuckled softly, and said "You're welcome.". He leaned back a bit in the bench, absentmindedly tapping his right foot against the stone below the bench. His blood colored hair seemed prone to swaying wildly into his face, obscuring his slightly narrow amber eyes from view. A red leaf slowly tore from the branch of the tree Kayla had seated under, and blew towards him softly. It landed on the sleeve of his shirt and blew off with the next gust, sending it flying towards the fountain.
Ekail watched after it for a moment, his lips twisted in a thin smile as if the leaf had whispered some silent joke to him in it's passing. "Just like everything else in my life. Doesn't bother to stick around." he mumbled softly, then stood up. He seemed to have a slight purpose as he silently moved over to Kayla, then stopped next to her. Not even bothering to wait for her to say something, he leaned down and reached into the shoulder pocket on his jacket. He extracted a pack of cigarettes in a plain, cardboard box with no markings and a lighter, in the same red as his hair.
"Sorry for the disturbance." he directed to her, as he remained leaning and extracted a cigarette from the box and lit it, then placed the box back into the pocket on the jacket, the lighter soon to follow. A thin red mist seemed to flow from the now lit cigarette, smelling slightly of copper. He didn't stand back up, but instead was looking at Kayla's book. "Good book?" he asked in a tone that seemed to actually be interested, instead of his normal bored one.

She shrugged. "No need to be sorry, it's your jacket," she said, smiling slightly. She looked at the book and nodded and shrugged at the same time. "Yes, it's good," Surprisingly enough, it wasn't the regular book she was always seen with. This one was actually a novel and not the big book that explained her magic that she usually brought with her everywhere. She looked back up at him. "What's your name? I'm Kayla," she said, extending a hand to shake.

The moment Oliver exclaimed he hated walks, Makie jumped in surprise. Was he okay? What happened for him to suddenly hate walks when he agreed just a few minutes ago? The brunette was more afraid that he wasn't going with her most of all. But she relaxed when it turned out that he was mimicking what Feena would do. A small giggle emerged from Makie's mouth. Oliver would always lighten up her day.
Despite Makie being so quiet, and Oliver so energetic, she always felt a connection. Hyper people that make you laugh, would most likely be your friend the moment they meet you. But it was more then just friendship to Makie, but it was hard to explain. Heck, there were lots of things she couldn't explain.
When Oliver asked the brunette what did she want to tell him, she stared in silence. She actually wasn't sure what she was going to say. But a few miliseconds later, the answer hit Makie like a rock as a knot formed in her stomach. An even bigger knot formed when he took her hand. Makie silently took deep breaths, and walked by her crush's side.
As the two walked down the path, it almost felt enchanting. The different bright colors, the light wind carrying some leaves and just the fact that they were alone. Autumn was a great season, it had pretty good weather and it was like the calm before the storm. Autumn before winter.
"Yeah... It's... Exciting..." The simple words emerged from her mouth, but she wanted to say something else. "Uh.... Oliver...? D-Do you w-want t-to g-go-" She stopped, she couldn't get the words out. Only five more words! Five more words and she'll be done this buisness.
"Climb trees with m-me?" Makie finished her sentance. But that really wasn't what she was going to say. What the teenager was supposed to ask was 'Do you want to go to the dance with me?'. Makie didn't want to say 'Do you want to go climb trees with me?'. A little hopeless, but at least she didn't spend five hours trying to think of another way to finish that sentance.
'Why did I say that? Arg! I can't do anything right!' She thought, mentally slapping herself. But on the outside, the brunette smiled softly. She denied the fact that she messed up.[ Well... I guess this was good... I'll do better next time! Promise! ]

Ekail smirked softly, then took her hand and shook it gently. He let it go and waited a few moments before answering, in which he took a small puff of his cigarette which in turn caused the smell of copper to waft around the area heavily. "Ekail, Ekail Judia." he said as he sat down next to her, reading over her shoulder. At small intervals, he would pull the cigarette from his mouth and tip the ashes into the wind and return it once more.
After a moment or two, he flicked the cigarette off into the wind and watched as it flew with a particularly strong gust into the air, to drop somewhere quite a bit off. He drew another thin smile and returned to casually glancing over the page Kayla was on. It'd been a while since he'd read a good book, and it seemed to hold his intrests moreso then most of the things he'd done lately. His eyes moved rather fast, glancing over the pages faster then Kayla was turning them to the point he had read it about five times by the time she had.

Kayla smiled. "Well it's nice to meet you Ekail," she said before returning to the book. She read at her steady pace, only half aware that he was reading over her shoulder. Every now and then a leaf would fall onto the book and Kayla would flick it off. She was just about to turn the page, when she closed the book, placing her finger at the spot she was and sneezed again. She then blushed slightly, wiping the sleeve on the jacket onto her skirt. "Sorry, I sneezed on your jacket," she said quietly, still wiping it off on her skirt.

Ekail chuckled softly, and said "No need to apologize. It's fine, I have about twenty of the darn things." he smirked and then blinked as a gust of wind blew his hair straight into Kayla's face. His face reddened the slightest bit, and as if by command his hair stopped blowing and slowly slid back into place behind his back, and no longer seemed to move with the wind. "Sorry bout that. Darn hair gets in the way all the time." he said, a certain nervous tone in his voice.
He leaned back a bit and waited silently for her to start reading again, and while he did he watched the various leaves blow by swiftly, swirling about. "It's rather nice this time of year, don't you think?" he asked, his voice carrying a certain whimsical tone with it. He put his hands behind his head and leaned against the tree, taking care not to bumb Kayla with his elbow.

Kayla laughed as his hair tickled her face. "No problem, I understand. The wind sometimes seems to take control of these things," she said, pushing her own long brown hair over her shoulder. She smiled, looking at the other colorful trees in the courtyard. She nodded in agreement. "It's my favorite time of year. I love the Autumn," she said, watching as another leaf fell and fluttered around in the breeze.

Ekail smiled softly, and nodded. "Indeed. It's quickly becoming mine as well." he said, then glanced at Kayla's book. "I might have to borrow that a time, if you do not mind. It's a good book." he said. A certain portion of his gaze lingered on her, and more to the point, the part of her chest the book was near at the moment. He turned away quickly, letting his hair fall over his face to slightly hide the thin blush creeping in.
"Erm...Anyway. So..If you don't mind me prying, what excatly can you..well..for lack of a less mundane term..Do?" he asked, turning to face her once more. "I mean, most of the students here have eiather fantastic powers, or some quirk that makes them wonderfully unique. What might yours be?" he said, a slight smile drawing upon his face.

Not noticing him eying her chest, she looked down at the book. "Yeah, sure, I could give it to you once I'm done. I think this is the only copy in the library, but I'm not sure," she said, looking at the book and then shrugging. She looked back up at him and blinked. "I have powers, though I'm not sure if they're 'fantastic'," she said, laughing, "I can manipulate Ice and Darkness. What about you? Any 'fanastic' powers?"

Ekail chuckled softly, and said "Eh. Now fantastic in the slightest, but yes." he said slightly. He glanced off into the wind for a moment, choosing his words carefully in the silence as he always did. "I have..Hm...Control over a rather interesting substance...Here, allow a small demonstration." he said, reaching into his pocket. He withdrew a small knife, which appeared to be attached to it's handle by a small chain.
He grabbed the blade and gently poked it into his shoulder, withdrawing it and placing it into his pocket. The small gash had begun to bleed, and Ekail lifted his right hand slightly. The blood began to flow downward, into his hand and began to form a puddle there, gathering more and more until the wound on his arm stopped flowing. He gently tossed his hand up, letting the blood fly into the air. Instead of raining down, it slowly drifted down..In the form of leaves? In midair the blood had begun to change, shifting and bending until it looked like thousands of red leaves, fluttering about in the wind endlessly.
Ekail picked a leaf out of the air and chuckled, letting it bend and twist in his hand turning into a solid, blood colored rose which he then handed to Kayla. "Blood Control." he said. He smiled softly, with a certain sadness in his eyes. She would run screaming, he knew, like all the others he'd shown. Or try to convince him to help her kill or maim someone, that wouldn't be too odd eiather.
