Edward groaned and held his head in his hands.
"That's even better....the treaty is shot...that's for sure...." He sighed and got up from the armrest.
"I'd rather not be here to tango with the dog....not that it's cowardice...more like I can't take any more stress today....my mind is....fried right now." Edward kneeled down and looked Amanda in the eyes. "If that dog tries anything tonight...I'll make sure I turn him into a fur coat....or maybe an area rug...or maybe a shammy for my car....or maybe a mat so we can all run over it with our cars....OH! Or maybe we can turn him into one of those rugs with the head still attatched that's placed by the fireplace to BURN!" Edward smiled, just thinking of that slow painful death with Jacob's name on it.
"That works for me..." He leaned forward and kissed Amanda on the cheek.
"Be safe..."

Amanda blushed Madly. It was like a static shock when he touched her. She looked up at him.SHe knew if she siad she was sorry he'd complain.
"Edward.."she spoke softly "you'll check on me later?..even if I do smell like a dog?'' she chuckled lightly

Edward smiled toothily.
"Of course I'll check on you, even if you smell like a dog...I'd come for you even if I was half dead...." His finger brushed against her cheek lightly and he smiled again.
"I worry about you Amanda...I don't think Jacob will be good today...he has already scuffled with Alice and Jasper....he will be in a bad mood for you..." Edward showed signs of worry in his eyes.
"If you are not okay when I come to check on you tonight...I will kil him." Edward stated like it was the most ordinary thing in the world.

Amanda felt the heat go to her face where he touched her. She smiled softly "Okay.." she sighed. "My ankels feeling better anyway..." she shifted herself in the seat.
Almost as if on cue the bell rang.She jumped at the sound. "Maybe he didn't come?..It could be just Billy...." she knew it was hopless...Edward was leaving. "I'll see you later" she said softly.

Jasper stood shocked. He backed up a few steps and looked around in the woods to see if any one was watching them. "Alice, of course I'll marry you, you already knew that." he said
"But we should get married at a more convenient time. Right now every one is away except Edward and, “His mind raced planning and renting a space the dress it would take months.”How about I Leave for two months and when I come back we get married, ok?" he tried to bargain with her, marriage would not help his control, and Alice was being silly to think it would.

Alice looked at Jasper, "Then why don't you stay here until everyone gets back then? They will be here in a few days to a few weeks. And you need to help plan the wedding some to you know." she said smiling. "Then we could go away for a few months. You can deal with your control issues then. How about that?" she asked, putting a puppy dog face on. Hopefully he would agree to it.

"Alice." he started. "fine." jasper knew he could not win this fight, Alice would just end up crying and he hated that. "What part should I plan?" he asked and sat down in the tall grass next to her. He felt like he had given up complete control of his life and now Alice was in charge of everything. But marriage is just that.

Alice smiled, ran over to jasper and gave him a hug. "I love you." she said hugging him. "I'm not sure yet what you can plan, but I'll think of something." she said smiling. "Anyways, I'm pretty sure Edward has left Amanda's house now. Maybe we should get home?" she asked, still holding him.

Jasper nodded. "Let’s get back. Maybe he won't be angry?" he said trying to look on the bright side. "Maybe he will just be happy for you?" he smiled. "Yes he will be happy to hear our news."

"Ya, probably. He probably already knows about it though." she said smiling. "So, lets go home. I can already tell he wont be to upset because you didn't actually do anything." she said kissing him.

Edward nodded and turned away.
"Remember to leave your window unlocked for me...unless you wish for me to break in myself then I will." He had a slight tone of playfullness in his voice.
He began to walk away when he froze in his tracks and whipped around. He wouldn't leave until he had made his impression. Edward scooped Amanda into his arms and kissed her very lightly on her lips. They were soft...like rose petals.
"Just so you don't forget about me tonight." Edward smiled, setting her down on the couch once more and finally taking off.
While he ran the way home, he had a smile on his lips the whole way.

"But, where are we going? You haven't told me yet." Jacob asked Billy.
Apparently they were going down to Forks because Charlie's daughter sprained her ankle. Who did that anymore? Well, it wouldn't be all that bad, he hoped that she was at least cute. While they drove down, Jacob noticed a blur pass by their car...a very familiar blur. Jacob growled and Billy of course heard, he didn't like it when Jacob did that.
"It's fine...really..." Jacob muttered, pulling into Charlie's driveway.
He walked up to the porch and rang the doorbell. He could smell something awful coming from the house....actually it was everywhere, on the porch, on the house, in the house....everywhere.
"What...the...hell...."

Amanda was in a complete daze when the doorbell rang. Edward....had kissed her. If she could move..she would be jumping around. But that wsan't going to happen. She snapped out of her trance "It open!"
She definatley wouldn't forget to leave her window unlocked. She shifted herself in the seat so she was upright. She placed the ice on her ankle and waited for the guys to come in..attempting to slow her rapidly beating heart

Jacob opened the door, gingerly grabbing hold of the doorknob. Everything reeked of bloodsuckers. He walked into the house, Billy in tow.
"Umm...is everything alright here? I...uhh...well, are you alri-" Jacob's sentence was cut off when he walked into the living room.
Charlie's daughter was sitting on the couch, she had an ice bag on her ankle and he eyed it suspiciously.
"How'd you mess up your ankle? Did you trip? Or did someone hurt you?" He was skeptical now, before he was just wary, now he wanted to hurt someone, rather....something. They didn't count as humans.

amanda looked at her ankel "Oh..it was nothing.I tripped while I was playing soccer..Im a naturual clutz."she admitted. She shifted again so there was room on the couch.
"yeah..um Edward brought me home" she removed the ice pack.The swelling went down. It was just a little purple. SHe blew a strand of hair out of her face and looked up at them.

Jacob tensed up, his whole body rigid and stiff.
"Edward? You mean...Edward Cullen? From...the Cullen family?" Jacob was surprised....the whole tripping while playing soccer and the natural clutz thing was probably a trick to throw him off.
"Are you sure it was soccer that did it? Cullen didn't touch you did he? Because he's not....uhh...well...he's just...umm....Edward Cullen is a bad guy and you shouldn't be around him if you know what's good for you." Jacob left it at that, he exhaled a shakey breath, he had almost given away the Cullen's secret....well...if he had done that then he'd have to tell her what she really was too and that could have consequences.
"Umm...when's Charlie getting home? I want to talk to him about something..." Jacob asked, trying for a nonchalant tone of voice.
