Bianca eyes slowly opened as she lifted her head with a little yawn. She nuzzled into Sophia and licked her slowly awake. The cubs needed to stay on a schedule after all, and they could fall back to sleep easily if they wanted too. It was the little one who cried at being awoken abruptly. Sophia awoke and pawed at Bianca muzzle while she slow body shifts woke up the other cubs.
"Bathroom run, dearies. If you're good you'll to play outside today." Bianca spoke softly. "Becareful walking around Zephre. He's still sleeping."
Bianca nodded for Sahari to some with her and Konya to join as well when he cubs were awake. She then picked Sophia up in her mouth, knowing she would wake Zephre up if she didn't, and lead the cubs around him slowly. It was good practice for them indeed.
Bianca lead them down the small trail from the den into a little grassy area surrounded by more rocks as markers for the cubs not to go past. Her six little ones immediately went into play mode, one stopping every minute of so to do their 'business'.

Konya nodded to bianca and picked up jasper as she got up. The movement made the few cubs around her wake up with little growls of protest. She walked to the dens entrence with the cubs following her, the cubs trying to was zephre stoped and followed her outside as well. They cought up to biancas group and the cubs started to play with them. She sat jasper down and licked his head. "Go have some fun, okay?"

His fur was matted down with dew, and he did a full body shake, leaving his fur standing on end. Azure had slept terribly, considering he was a nocturnal animal by nature. But his sleeping schedule had been screwed up big time years ago, and he had stopped attempting to be active at night. Now, the small ocelot stretched out each individual limb before leaping out of the tree he had been resting on. His nose twitched as he heard an animal come near.
The cheetah's cheek was numb, but all pain was gone. Mahora stood up, his slim body stiff. He put out his front two paws, like a domestic cat might, and stretched, before sitting down on his haunches. Like Zephre said, his cheek was green, instead of the usual tan. But he paid no attention, and instead waited for Thela to awake.
Jacqueline woke up to find herself nestled between Tami's front paws. Now she scampered out to follow the den watchers. She wrestled with some of the cubs, tumbling around on the ground with surprised mews.

Brindle's ears pricked and she stood up straight, moving to catch up with her second as she was found out. She said nothing as she reached Calyn's side, only nodded. She understood what it was the panther needed to do, but it was the first time she had accompanied her.
Zephre slowly came back to the world when he felt little paws along his flank and through his mane. The cubs were up. Suddenly they disappeared and he opened his eyes, catching Bianca leading them away from the den. He rose and padded into the shallow cave, nosing the morning air for Tami's scent. He found her lying where the cubs had collapsed on her the previous night. Jaqueline had gone out with the rest he noted. Now that she was not there he was free to approach his apprentice and attempt to wake her. "Good morning little kit." He said in a singsong voice, pulling his big tongue over her forehead...the wrong way. In many respects he acted like an older brother more than a teacher to the young leopard.

Cirro only nodded, falling into his preferred silence easily. He watched Mira as she attempted to free the burr, once almost rising to offer his help but deciding against it. His dark red-brown gaze slipped past her figure towards the Western grasslands. They were supposed to hunt there today, weren't they? He wondered where Brindle and Calyn had disappeared to.
Jasper nodded, almost prancing away before his mother captured him by the scruff and carrying him out of the den. He wiggled in excitement, his hind legs scraping the ground in his attempt to get free. As they reached the dirt-making place. As Konya set him free, he gave one last lick on her cheek before darting off, making out Jacqueline's small, ocelet figure. "Roar!" he growled again, tackling her playfully.
Sahari nodded in return to Bianca's nod, and gently nosed Daniel awake. The small, tawny-hued tom tautered to his feet and with Sahari's dark tail guiding him, the two set off for the clearing after the other cubs and Den-Watchers. The smallest Den-watcher seated herself beside Konya. She watched the cubs play for a few moments, her eyes gleaming, before surveying their surroundings for any attackers; not sensing anything, she turned her attention back to the cubs.

She gave up trying to get the burr out and thumped her tail on the ground. "Do you know where we are suppost to hunt today?" Mira flicked her ears looking at Cirro.

"The western fields, I'm sure," Cirro responded, turning back to look at Mira. His ears twitched, swivelling around to catch the noises of songbirds in the forest; mahogany irises flickered towards the darkened territory before returning back to the Clouded Leopard. He gave a rare smile, so small the slight twitch of his lips hardly seemed to make a difference. He and Mira were the only Clouded Leopards in the Pride - Mira having stumbled across the Pride only recently, while his mother had died and his father had left for more peaceful solititude only the life of a loner could bring.

Tami growled softly, batting lightly at Zephre. The cubs had already left her, to follow Bianca outside and play. "Could you wake me up without making my fur stand up? It takes forever to make it lay flat again." she grumbled, opening her eyes to look at the him.
Calyn gave her a greatful glance, before hurrying to the graves. Slowing down as she drew close, she sat down at the foot of the graves, never saying a word. She watched them sadly, getting up after a couple minutes and going back to Brindle. "We're trying to figure out who ordered the attack today, right?" she asked quietly, a faint trace of her typical, inner fire back in her eyes.

"Oh I'm sorry!" Zephre laughed. "Here, let me fix it." With that he began brushing more of her fur the wrong way.
Brindle smiled at her second's expression, returning it with a little fire of her own in her emerald eyes. "The council. We need Bianca, Sahari and Mahora." She replied. "Along with the outriders who conducted the investigation last night. I'll send Kiros to fetch them." With that she turned and made for the main den at a steady lope.
When Brindle pushed through the tall grass at the den's edge she found all the cubs outside with Bianca and Sahari. It looked like they would need baby-sitters as the council cave was a little ways from the den, and leaving all the cubs with Konya alone would just be cruel. "Kiros, I need you and Thela to fetch the cats responsible for investigating the murder. Bring them to the council cave." Brindle wasted no time in putting things under way.

Calyn went after her, stumbling and biting back a cry. "Zephre?" she called softly, moving up to the den.
"Zephre!" Tami pounced on him, pausing as she heard Calyn. "Wonder what happened..." she mused, lightly getting off her mentor and going to Calyn, returning a moment later. "She opened it back up." she said softly, looking at Zephre. It didn't look good, she was amazed the panther hadn't complained and was tolerating the pain so well, without making a sound.

Mira meowed quietly, "Hmm I would have prefered the forests but it is just as well." Seeing his smile she grinned at him. In the little time she had been in the pride she hadn't seen him smile. "Would you like to hunt together?"

Zephre rolled back laughing as Tami pounced, feigning defeat. He got up quickly as Calyn called his name. Zephre drew in a breath sharply as Tami told him what was wrong, then went to inspect the panther himself. "Lie still." He said gently, going to pick up the remainder of the healing plants Tami had collected for him.
"Calyn?" Brindle trotted up to her and for the first time got a good look at the wounds. "Scratches huh?" The tigress shook her head in disbelief. "Do you know how dangerous it could be if you pushed yourself too hard with injuries like that?" She paused, her tail flicking back and forth with annoyance. "I Don't want to hold you back from the hunt but..."
"You don't have to." Zephre said as he set the leaves down and began to chew them. "I will." He seemed mildly upset, which usually happened when a patient wasn't careful or ignored his instructions. The former in Calyn's case. "You are not to run for today. The hunt is out I'm afraid. I'm not sure you should even be moving from the den sight. Tami," Zephre called his apprentice. "The moss we gathered from the woods a week ago, it should be dry by now, It'll help stop the bleeding, I also need herbs to dull pain."

Mahora had left Thela to rest, and left his den quietly. As he pawed past the cub's den, he heard voices, and peered his small head inside.
"Calyn, I'm terribly sorry. If I had come a moment sooner, I may have been able to stop you from getting hurt," the cheetah said quietly. "Brindle, Kiros said you wanted me, along with the others?"

Bianca watched cats go by towards the den, but all the cubs were accounted for with her outside in their 'play pen'. That, and they were calling for Zephre, whom was still there with Tami.
Bianca was currently licking a cubs head as it cried from being accidently tripped by another cub. She had already scolded the tripper and told him to be more careful or he would have to sit out from play time later in the day. This was one to be a bathroom break, but knowing of the meeting where Sahari and her would have to leave, she would have the cubs back in the den with Konya while they were gone.

Calyn sighed, not sure if she was more annoyed about being confined to the den, everyone worrying, or simply the fact she was hurt at all. "Not your fault Mahora..." she mumbled. It was only her own fault, she'd been stupid enough to run off by herself despite everyone's warnings, despite knowing better.
Tami nodded, running off towards their den to find what was asked. She brought it back a few minutes later, setting the moss and herbs down before him. "We'll probably need to get more later, mostly of the herbs." she said softly. "Only one or two mouthfuls left."
"You won't let me go to the meeting with the others then?" Calyn asked quietly, looking between Zephre and Brindle.
