Amity, standing with her partner, Apollyon, held one gloved hand out to Rini, a look of complete compassion on her features.
"She's right," Apollyon started, putting her hand on her sibling's shoulder. "Listen to Amity and Uranus. They know what they are talking about." Giving Amity's shoulder a squeeze, she knelt down on one knee. "The squabbles everyone goes through are a part of life. It doesn't mean that they're mistreating you or that they don't love you. Everyone's going to clash at some point, Small Lady. But so long as they have the bonds of love, nothing will keep them apart."

Apollyon perked one side of her mouth for a moment. "You're not numb. Even now you're desperate to have Rini join your side. I know the pain in your eyes. I was there once, myself." She reached over to touch Ember's face. "I came into being because someone had to discard all of their inner darkness in order to join Serenity a long, long time ago. I have stood outside of time for countless years, seemingly numb to everything around me.
"However, I eventually came to understand the sacrifices we have to make in order to carry on. You are not alone, Ember."

Ember slapped Apollyon's hand away. "I don't care what you went through. Even if i do feel a little pain this way it's still less than what it was!!! If this is my choice then why are you all making it so difficult?!" Ember said with pure hatred in her eyes.
