L'amour, love, really really like. Here in the guild we've seen the spark of romance. This year two couples have stood out for different reasons. The first couple has their roots in Gaia and are very, very adorable. He has been with us for ages, and she has quickly made her way into the ranks of the regular posters. Cute signatures and guild activity- yay romance! Here's to Dark-Hearted-Wolf-Forever  and Tillisnut Our first 2008 Oldie Couple of the Year. Our second couple is best described as a creative powerhouse. Both have awesome avatars, both had perhaps the coolest costumes to the Dark Knight premiere yet, and writing skills are abundant in this duo. First we were enchanted with Emily Scissorhands and then we were further blessed with Ybrik by far proving that just when you thought it couldn't get any better, things get even awesome-er-- [glances at cue cards, shrugs] Congratulations Ybrik and Emily, our second 2008 Oldie Couple of the year

By the way Ladies and Gentlemen, we are quickly approaching the lightning round of the oldies. The mods have informed me we need to wrap this up. All Doressa would mumble is something about having to bail Headhunter out of a high profile criminals of war prison. Further more, if police officers stop by the Oldies' reception hall, you know nothing.
In addition, Super Buick has been barred from receiving any more awards for the evening on account of he has skyrocketed the Guild's liability insurance to epic proportions.
Finally, Classica is now my favorite color- the color of Gaia Gold.

Oooh, wow, an award! See, me and my Mr. J were just gonna hold ya all hostage until we got an award, but now we don't have to! *admires the Oldie award* Isn't it great, Puddin'?
Now to do something about those mean movie companies for cutting my scenes outta the Dark Knight...

Human kind has evolved through this exquisite form of communication... -snoring is head from the front row, a faint "Pomp and Circumstance plays in the back ground- Adding to the prestige and dignity of the guild. -Poe's zombie busts in- Poe-Z: Lame! Let me take over! Main Man: Excuse me? Poe-Z: Word, it's me, Poe. Main Man: Aren't you... dead? Poe-Z: Pft, been kicking it with Tupac in the afterlife. Let's get this awards party started! -begins to make a beat- Yo, I'm Edgar Allen and I'm here to say these brothers and sisters can write any day. They got the words, n' keepin' it real, no copy right infringement they don't like to steal. They use the forum and they use it good. All up in the raven, nevermore in the hood. Word. Main Man: Uhhh... at least it's not Emily Dickinson singing "I Will Survive" Our first winner has shown us such incredible words. She has whisked us away with her prose. Her intro thread includes samples of her work. Who is she? The irreplaceable WildWildWindWhisperer the 2008 Female Writer Oldie Winner Next up, he's made you think, and he's one of the regular haunts around the writing subforum. Ahem, now that Poe-Z, aka the zombie of Edgar Allen Poe has been removed from the premises. We are doing the best we can to stop the legions of Zombie writers from entering the awards hall. We also like to remind you that this event has been made possible by the good people at Moca Coka--- mmmm refreshing! We have a beautiful cake up for devouring. We would have had an oversized cookie, but the caterers were attacked by an unidentified Blue Puppet. Our next category is one of a certain sort of dignity and prestige. This member is known for his humor, his gaming, and his references to graphic novels. But he plays a special role in our guild. He is the most likely to make kissy kissy with AntoniaMerEnfant. Wait, we're giving away an award for that??? Alright. Congratulations Yonsan Our 2008 "Most Likely to make Kissy Kissy with AntoniaMerEnfant" Oldie award recipient.

Our next award winners really Suck---Blood. Ok, bad pun for the main man. sweatdrop Bad pun. When Gaia let us make Vampire avatars these guild members rose to the challenge with rather memorable and awesome Vampire avatars. First up, awesome hair, awesome clothes, and awesome Sweeny Todd profile lay out, we have our very own Aloria Neza A 2008 "One of the Vamps" Oldie Award Winner. Next up, if you were staking vampires during the Halloween event last year in the guild thread, you might remember the incomparable Viasol a 2008 "One of the Vamps" Oldie Award Winner She seems all cute and fluffy judging by her screen name, but she's splendidly pulled out an awesome vampire. Congrats MinnieLeMoo a 2008 "One of the Vamps" Oldie Award Winner Congrats, and please stay away from the garlic bread in the refreshments area.

-Yelling backstage- Alright! One more, but after that I gotta pee. Sheesh, lousy lightning rounds. It seems when we were announcing Avatar domination one of the names slipped through the cracks. She is a skillful master with color, items, and originality. While we do not get to see her often, she is a superb part of our guild. Aw goodness. This was so unsuspected, really!
I didn't even prepare a speech for this, but let me just tell you now, if I had any blood left in me.. I'd be blushing right now!
You're all an amazing bunch of people, and I'm just glad to be here apart of all of this with you. This is a great honor to accept this award, and means a lot to me to be thought of for it. Thanks everyone!

Thank you very much. I've been very happy since I've started dating her and eventually we got married. We are a happy Gaian couple and also really good friends elsewhere. This guild is great. I can't believe I have 2 oldies. I am thankful for everyone that voted for me and all my friends. Stay cool where you are. It sure is hot here.

Wow, I must admit, I didn't think I would win anything.
I would like to thank those who visited the vampire thread on halloween. Also I need to than Judas Iscariot and the Devil for making vampirism a reality. As you can see I am still sporting my vamp skin. Anyway thank you guys again, I got all the holloween items with your help.
