Oh, laundry. Last year, I got a lovely, red apron for Fishmas.
Mum threw it in with her underpants the very first time she washed it.
...Yeah.
Anyway, I think I know where things are going now, though I haven't actually hot the sexiness yet. Soon, my dears. VERY SOON.

Well, actually, the apron had it's revenge. In the form of pink underpants. It was pretty fabulous.
Although, I did wash my apron again.
Anyway, chugging along. Current chapter is taking a bit longer than expected, but don't they always? I want to be ankledeep in boyporn, damnit.
But, who doesn't want that?
I also outlined a suicide attempt into my NaNo. Haven't made it very clear how far the character gets before someone stops him because I don't know yet. I don't really want him to have scars. Erm, physical scars.

Personally, I love scars more than I can explain, but you don't need them. My best friend ODed on 3 bottles of pills, actually, and her dad woke up and found her, then helicoptered her out of the little mountain town they live in and down to the hospital where I live. She was in a coma for three days, but she pulled through, and she has no scars! The only big thing she has is her stomach is incredibly sensitive now, for obvious reasons. That was literally like five years ago, though, so we don't think about it too much anymore.
Anyway I know that when I'm writing stuff like that I always want a realistic basis and sometimes it's hard to ask around, like "You smoked meth out of WHAT? How creative!" And suicide attempts really are something you don't ask about... so I thought I'd offer the information. Truth is beauty and all that.

NaNo is a lot more do-able than I would have thought. And did think, for years. Sit down, shut up, and write. It's AWESOME. The joining in the insanity? So worth it.
I'm talking with one of my medical history buff friends about the most obvious way someone in S's situation would attempt suicide. She's being very helpful.
I'm only reluctant to scar him because I don't want what happened to him to be obvious to others. Plus, one of my potential next projects involves what amounts to a mercenary group where a LOT of the characters have scars. So, you can get your fix there! Someday.
I really do appreciate your anecdote. It is very hard indeed to ask about that sort of stuff. ^^
I'm feeling better. Slogging away. Got another chapter finished. The boysex came out awesome. Now all of the horrible secrets start coming out.
I've really fallen in love with the lead for this story. Not like unnatural romantic love of a deluded fangirl. Or the way SMeyer crushes on Edward in front of her deluded fangirls. But how you feel when you create something wonderful. I've actually done what I wanted to do with him. I have a badass with a sweet soul who's actually sympathetic. At least, matched against the person he was intended to spoof.

Hn.. more of my scars on people are mental/spiritual ones than actual physcial ones.. hn I don't have enough scars and tattoos -pouts- should get more creative with them heh
