Being thrown through a portal half uncouncious was no fun at all. She wasn't sure how she had gotten out, but voices awoke her once again. Chiyoko stayed where she had landed, making sure nothing was coming at her again, and wrapped her arms tightly around herself, noticing the slight difference in her body, the fact that there wasn't one struck her only when the twins began speaking of a soul like them. To her, she had a body... but to the others, it wouldn't seem so. It was like twins spoke in riddles, or at least that was what it seemed to this young girl. She couldn't understand what they were talking about, and didn't get much of a chance to comprehend what they were saying when a blinding light cut off all her sight for a few moments. The fact that she had no clue what was going on began to frighten her even more, so she just huddled in on herself, not sure what to expect. Once the light finally left, she blinked her eyes a bit as she began to notice the slight differences as she brought herself into a standing position.
"A Jio was lost..." she repeated to herself. It was what really caught her attention again, and that’s when she noticed the one woman missing. The girl bit hard onto her and wondered if she had been trapped in that hell like she herself had been… She didn’t wish that on anyone… not even the Meho’s that sent her there. Once the twins became quiet, the girl looked around at the strange faces… she knew none of them, and was afraid. She again tucked her arms around her chest as she turned to the loud mouth boy. “You girl…” she mumbled with a small frown. “Jio Chiyoko…” she said a bit timidly. She looked at the other’s and then mumbled to herself, “Don’t know why I am telling them… specially loud mouth…” Chiyoko became quickly confused again as loud mouth began talking of Yoku-Akogi. “Loud mouth must be crazy… They look much more capable of capturing someone… whoever this Yoku-Akogi is…” she mumbled to herself as her eyes turned from loud mouth to the other boy, and the young girl he was near.
Chiyoko shivered again and bit hard into her lip again as she looked at the group of young kids. She didn’t understand why any of them were together, specially here of all places… or why the other two adults had brought them here… She began to rub her tanned skin, as if to warm herself up. She continued to bit into her lip, because she was determined to not let her uncontrollable fears bring her to tears again, even though a small glisten could be noticed to anyone paying any real attention.

The harmonic yet dreary voices of the twins faded in and out as Zoku's ears rang with a strange high pitch tone. Along with the steady high pitch tone, a perfect beat of her head throbbed to make an excruciating melody that caused Zoku's vision to blur. When she opened her eyes, all she could see were foggy bodies standing around as the white blurs that Zoku knew were the twins floated around. Coughing heavily from the burning sensation in her lungs form the heat of Ikatsui-Ago's realm, Zoku propped herself up to her knees while slowly lifting her head up to look through her bangs as her eyes strained to focus. The ground began to shake and Zoku feared the worst as the Twins chimed 'It is the will of Heikou' louder... and louder before a bright white light struck down upon that strange girl's body. The Meho girl nearly fell over from the impact of the intense light on her delicate eyes. Her head pounded as she failed to quickly close her eyes. For a moment there, Zoku was sure that she had gone blind. As everything settled once again, the girl obsessed with numbers finally got her vision back, but the ringing was still there. "A Jio soul was lost?" Zoku asked dumbly just before Seiko spoke out at the twins about Tomoko. Looking around, the girl just noticed that the crazy woman was gone. "Where's Tomoko?" Zoku asked in a bit of a panic as a familiar thing seemed to be taken away. Did Tomoko die in the realm? What had happened after she blacked out? In a frenzied panic, Zoku grabbed her head while all these questions were asked silently in her mind. Her attention snapped back when Seiko threw a Kunai by Tsuigi. A frown met her lips as she looked over at Tsuigi and this Chiyoko girl. They were to become Heikou as well? Zoku didn't like the Meho, but then again... Zoku didn't really like anyone except Tomoko, Dhan and Seiko. Her sunset eyes gazed intensely at Chiyoko who sat there so timidly trying to stay warm. The gaze turned into a cold stare as she thought that these dumb twins wanted to take Tomoko's life in order to give this girl from the demon's realm life. Zoku didn't like it and she didn't like this new Jio.

Dhan had stayed silent laying on the ground where he was thrown. While the madness went on around him, the twins spoke of heikou and the children wondered where their guardian had gone. In truth the silence was only on the outside, inside the rage was building. The horrors of the last two years had done great damage to his mind and now his sister would be there for eternity. The sister he had tried for so long to kill. It was maddening to think about it so he did the only thing he knew to do, explode. Rising to his feet without so much as a word he reached for Ikatsui - Ago and suddenly hurled it at the twins. A futile effort, the blade passed through their ghostly forms as if they weren't even there and hit the ground behind them. " She's dead you idiots!" He roared at the children with such a rage it wouldn't be far fetched to think the next attack would be directed at them. " All for my soul and your new power! Now shut up and stop asking what you already know." His tone was calmer now but still as cold as ever. Turning his attention back to the twins he spoke once again " And what do you want them to do? Save the world from demons?! Our clans couldn't even save ourselves! We're killers and they're pacifists! WHERE HAS THAT GOTTEN US?!''

Rounding his way to the legs of the boy who asked what Heikou was, its long hairs from its tail brushed against Seiko's leg. "Heikou means bringing balance," the feline said in a raspy voice. Yes, the cat spoke! And as the animal spoke, its bell chimed cleverly as he seemed to smile. "You won't understand this all now, but with time you'll learn what balance truly is," the animal said as he jumped up to the center pedestal once again. "My sweet Jio girl, Yoku-Akogi is a noble demon focused on proving that he is the ultimate warrior. He wields four giant swords, one of which your Meho has a part of," the cat explained as he nuzzled into a warm ball the pedestal while his tail swung back and forth playfully. The cat's playful demeanor swiftly went away as Dhan madly threw Ikatsui-Ago at the twins. With a quick hiss, the cat sprinted away towards the exit and hid in the shadows of the corridor. The twins were mellow as usual as their ghostly bodies turned towards the Meho Warlord after the weapon went straight threw them. The stood and hovered in silence and Dhan yelled at the children of Heikou.
"The Jio is not dead." "The Jio is not alive." "Pacifists the Jio's are not." "Murders the Meho's are." "You are a failed Heikou."
The twin's ghostly hands embraced one another as they floated towards the spot they had first appeared.
"The Heikou will bring balance." "This world is already deadly." "The influence of demons is needed not." "You will cease this unbalance." "Capture Yoku-Akogi." "Seal the 45 Tails." "Neko-Jiji will guide you." "Heikou will guide you." "Go in the name of your new clan."
With those final words, the ghostly twins disappeared just as they had come; suddenly. The room was quite, the chimes were silent and the coldness began to filter into the cave once again.

Zoku wanted to scream, cry and panic as the little orange cat she had barely paid any attention to began speaking. Did she go crazy after the knock on the head? Zoku bit her bottom lip and looked over at everyone else to make sure that they were all listening and hearing the cat speak as well. As she did, Dhan lashed at and yelled at them all. Zoku didn't scream, but she did begin to cry and panic. There were no sobs with her tears, but they were streaming down her face as her body began to shake. Seeing the huge sword be hurled across the room was so very intimidating. Zoku couldn't even pick the thing up! The twins turned to Dhan and began their melodic chimes once again. From what they said, Zoku gathered that Tomoko really wasn't dead... This gave her a small hope, but she couldn't let it show as she was still crying. As the twins disappeared, Zoku still had questions to ask. There was something said that had never been brought up before; 45 Tails. Even if the twins were still there, Zoku wouldn't have been able to speak.

Dhan payed no attention the cat, he'd heard enough of what these guardians had to say. Instead he went over to retrieve his weapon. Kneeling down above it he reached out to take it by the hilt. Even now the demon within still whispered to him, still trying to influence him after all that had happened. Atleast now he could resist it's voice but now the children faced the same thing, only this time it was Heikou and not Ikatsui - ago. " I've had enough of demons whispering in my ears." He spoke bitterly and spat on the alter. " You lot! You have a choice, listen to Heikou and stay here and die. Or come with me." He laid out his offer plain and simple. He would take Tomoko's misfits under his wing if they wanted or they could stay here and be buried. Without waiting for an answer he made his way towards the massive gates that protected the shrine, stopping only when he stood on the threshold. No words came out of his mouth as he stood there staring into the demonic weapon he wielded. Little action came out of him at all until the rage finally boiled over. In a moment of pure madness he screamed at the heavens and cleaved the pillars holding the massive gate clean in half. With all the anger gone he strolled away from the shrine like nothing had happened even when the earth began to rumble as the massive structure began to crumble. Now came the choice for the children go or stay and be crushed, was there really any choice?

Seiko listened to the cat that weaved its way between his legs. He was not sure what was going on, there was to much going on. The twins were speaking in riddles, the four children were now Heikou, Tomoko was not dead and not alive, and now Dhan was going to be there only way to survive. Seiko walked over to his Kunai and placed it back in his bag. Shaking his head he sighed as he walked over to Zoku. Talking low as he picked up Tomoko's scroll he was aware of their future and was ready to step forward with his partner. "Zoku, we will get her back. I promise, but we need to get out of her to get stronger so we can save her. We are the future of this world." With that said he began to follow Dhan towards the exit when the ground began to shake. Not knowing what was going on Seiko turned back to Zoku with a look of panic telling her to move it. Running now Seiko could see what had caused the disturbance. Dhan had cut through the gates as if they were paper. Seiko's life just got so much harder.

The man was yelling, the young girl was giving her a death glare, the twins were talking riddles, hell even this cat was talking! None of this was making any sense at all, and her head was beginning to hurt as she tried to unravel the things that were happening before her. She was tempted to ask, but none of these people seemed to be very willing to give up answers... So she just kept her mouth shut and as the man gave them the choice to stay and die, or follow him, she chose the obvious choice. She had some how magically gotten out of the hell realm... she wasn't going to get herself stuck here.... "Time to go..." she mumbled and she quickened her pace slowly to a run as the structure started to crumble around them.

To Tsuigi the words of the twins where still rubbish. He couldnt quite get in his head any of the riddles they spoke of since he wasnt much of a thinker. When they spoke about Yoku-Akogi ,on the other hand, all his attention came to it. " Capture him, I dont need you two creepers to tell me that. 45 tails? what the hell does that even mean" Just then Dhan burst in anger and all his skin tingled as the great Meho unleashed his wrath. The brat was a bit scared but at the same time excited. He grasped his sword tight with his right hand ready to protect himself in case the man lost it, but it was more an unwilling reaction than any defensive move. The warlord spoke and Tsuigi smirked " Ill learn all i can from you, Until i can weild that power of yours. I dont plan to die here. The hag in that place is still alive and she owes me a Demon So you better keep her promise." He ran after Dhan as well as the other kids just to be shaken up by the sudden earthquake. The gates where crumbling as the man had slashed right at them to bury the place he seemed to hate so much. Speeding up his wooden sandals echoed in the stone floor of the temple as he sped up towards the exit. He still had a lot to do and no plans of dying yet.

Tomoko had promised things to Zoku and the little Meho girl intended to get those things from her. She nodded to Seiko about getting stronger. They had barely ventured into the realm of Ikatsui-Ago and they had almost died. That was the third time Zoku had come close to death. Once from a man who fought with bones, once from a rough fight with Seiko and now in a realm of a demon. Scrambling to her feet, Zoku willed up the little energy she had gotten back from sitting down on the cool shrine floor to run out of the shrine after Dhan. She was the last one out, but she had made it. As the dust kicked up from the destruction of the shrine, Zoku closed her eyes and covered her mouth as to not breathe in too much, but she ended up coughing from it all anyways. As it cleared, she rubbed her eyes to see that everyone was out... even Tsuigi and Chiyoko. Looking down at the ground, Zoku sat down where she stood, extremely exhausted and ready to pass out a second time. Seiko had Tomoko's scroll, but none of them could read it... A heavy sigh raced out of Zoku's mouth as she began to feel that going on would almost be pointless until her eyes fell on Dhan's sword. "Tomoko promised me that," Zoku said, pointing at Dhan's sword not sure why she had just said that out loud to a man that had just brought down a shrine. "...when I get stronger..." she added in with a mumble as to not get cocky towards the great Meho warlord who may have taken that initial sentence as a challenge. Zoku was glad that Dhan wouldn't bite her anymore... but she wasn't too sure if she liked him with his soul now that he was destroying everything. His name was Dhan the Destroyer was it not?

" Not as stupid as you look..." Dhan mumbled while looking back over the children who had all taken his offer. The only ones with the nerve to speak to him where Meho, that put a smirk on his face. " Already you want to kill me? Might take you a while." He chuckled at the two Meho, he had sized them up and they had a long way to go before the could take his life but that was the way of the Meho to kill even if that was your own kind. " When you two are strong enough to take my head you will have Ikatsui - Ago." He spoke of them killing him without the slightest hint of emotion, after all he had already died. " For now though... We need to find a place to call home. This new clan of yours isn't welcome anywhere. Not even in my home..." and with that he once again walked off, leaving the children to either follow him or go their own way.
A few hours later Dhan and any of the children that followed him arrived at the Jio ruins that once housed the Meho war party but there was only a handful left. As they walked down what once would have been the main street they found themselves watched. Meho sentries hid amongst the ruins watching and waiting for a kill order. Dhan was aware of them but didn't seem to care much he had other things on his mind. Like what to do with these children. They couldn't stay with the Meho, nor could Dhan but if they were to make themselves a new home they would need supplies. It seemed the Meho that had once filled this ruined city now all fit in the center square of the lost Jio capital but as far as Dhan could tell their new leader wasn't here. Lowering Ikatsui - Ago to the ground and leaning heavily on it while he scanned the Meho scattered around for their leader. If he was here showing off the weapon that should rightfully belong to the new warlord would surely bring him out. All he had to do was wait.

Seiko would not speak again. His outburst were coming more and more frequently, but now that Dhan was no longer a zombie and they picked up two more slackers he saw no reason to talk. As they were heading out he offered Zoku a hand to get her started. She did save his life, he owed her a lot for that alone. In this group she was the only one he could trust for the time being. Walking on Seiko's mind began to fill up again. "You know honey, you are in real trouble that Dhan is awake again. Wont be long now before you end up like your parents." Redemption had some nerve bringing that up. It was bad enough that he had to trust and relie on Dhan but to dredge up painful memories at a time like this was low even for her.
Walking into a village, if you could even call it that. Dhan seemed to be looking for something. So was Seiko however. Eying his surroundings slightly as to not draw attention. Seiko could see through the ruins that the group was surrounded. He didnt like this feeling, he felt trapped and on edge. Nuddging Zoku he motioned towards the buildings with his head. If she could see them, maybe they would have a good chance at fighting back when things went sour, like they seemed to be doing today.

The kitty had escaped and stayed in the bushes. He was told to be the children's guide, but he wanted nothing to do with that big bad Meho. Like the twins had said... He was a failed Heikou and it was best that this Tomoko was gone and this Chiyoko was here. The cat purred as he smelt the fresh air of the outdoors. He had been in that shrine for far too long... Out of all the children, Mr. Kitty decided that he liked this Chiyoko girl the most. Walking up and pressing against her legs like a normal cat would do, the man purred heavily, begging for attention while Dhan lectured the children. "Follow the Meho, children of Heikou," the cat purred as his tail wrapped around one of Chiyoko's legs as he stopped underneath her. "Little girl, I have been in the shrine for many years and I am weak. Carry me?" the cat purred as he pushed his nose into her ankle before rolling on the ground and looking up at her with his dark eyes, acting like a little innocent cat.

Chiyoko kept herself silent as the group started to venture onward after the last of the group had made it out of the shrine. She had figured a long time ago, that if she could keep herself silent, maybe she could just find a way to get by with this group of rather rough kids and the man... It was chilly to her out in this fresh air, and when something warm brushed up against her leg, she nearly jumped out of her skin, thinking it was a demon trying to drag her back into the other realm. But when she looked down, she heard the voice of the cat that had been inside of the shrine before the beast of a man tore it down... Being stuck in the realm of hell had always made the girl question everything, and looking down into the cat's eyes she couldn't help but wonder aloud, "Dose this cat talk to everyone?" but she shrugged her small shoulders after hearing it ask for a little help. "You've been in there too..?" she mumbled to the cat as she bent over and picked it up, wrapping her slender arms around it in a protective manor. The realm of hell... the shrine... to her it was all the same.
Nothing at all was making sense, but it made enough sense to just keep quiet as they all walked for a while. No thoughts crossed her mind as they walked or even as they started to slow in a ruined area. Something about it was giving her the creeps, but she couldn't place her finger on it... She didn't like the feel of this new place that the man had taken them too... it didn't feel safe at all. She bit into her lip and held the kitty a little closer to her chest, the warmth of the creature giving her a little comfort, but not very much in this place...

CRUNCH CRUNCH. The sound made when someone bit so hard on a tooth that it actually cracked. Then that person continued to chew on the tooth until they realized it wasn’t worth the effort. It was the same sound a skull made after being curbed stomped and the back of the skull broke with the neck vertebrae piercing into the back of the brain. The same sound as the top and lower jaw cracked and became misaligned due to the force. Rakkou was one of the old school. Simply slitting someone down then eating them was quick, but you missed the taste of life in them if you did that. Many of younger ones now did that, but Rakkou much rather unhinge their jaw pull out it out and then devour it little by little. The bone was hard, but bone marrow always had a delectable taste to it. The fool who suffered on the ground was just about dead. Due to blood loss not only from his missing lower mandible, but Rakkou had also used his stone sword to carve out pieces of the man’s flesh like he were a pig and it was time to serve some bacon. Two long strips had been taken out, originating from the man’s neck down to his posterior. Flies had quickly swarmed around the flesh that aloud it’s impure stench to fill the air.
No one dared touch Rakkou’s kill. He was the leader of Meho’s now after all. Thus his seat was on top of a small plateau to glare down at all in his kingdom. Such wild hair, red eyes and body that was the half way point between six and seven feet, this behemoth was a berserker. It was even said that his sword created when the cannibal launched an enemy so furiously into a cliff side that large pieces came out. The largest piece, which was about six feet, was molded into the stone killer that he had now. A subsidiary came to the beast’s ear whispering things within. Things about intruders. Intruders that did not know how to be the prey in this world of predators. Rakkou did not like prey that acted tough. It seemed someone else needed to be stripped like bacon. Standing up and glaring down, the man noticed the sword in one of their hands. Was it really Ikatsui – Ago!! That could only mean one thing. “It looks like the dead don’t like to stay dead do they? Well it would have eventually come to this if you didn’t die anyways.” the man stated as he gazed on the group. Mehos…. and Jios? This was becoming a good day after all. Jio bacon always tasted the best. Speaking of Meho wasn’t that… “Hmm. It looks like I have to start disciplin’n my child more. Daughter… why haven’t you killed those Jio with you?” Rakkou said surprisingly soft and without anger yet his eyes had the look of one of those past tyrant lizards that used to ruled the earth.
