All the ******** games I bought for the PS2 would be unplayable if it craps out then? I'm sorry, but that just isn't right. I mean all other system makers are doing it, seriously all other major consoles are backwards compatible except for sony.

Well actually Xbox 360 is...semi-backward compatible. Even then you got to be online so you can download a patch so you can play other games that are backward compatible.
The only system that has it down pact is the Wii.
But yes this whole, I got to go Ebay Hunting to get the PS3 I want is complete horseshit.
If I remember correctly, The model I wanted was the MGS4 one. Don't care about the hard drive since you can buy an additional 500gig hard drive for...a reasonable price. But it had Wireless Internet connection built in and PS2 backward compatible.

I know about the 360, they couldn't have made SNK vs. Capcom Chaos compatible. Pissed me off.

Not recently, just added two to it though, the new Guilty Gear and Metal Slug Anthology, both great.

Counted recently, didn't get all of them, 104, so around 110 games. Not much, especially considering it's counting old games too.

Nothing at all, it's just since the older ones build up over the years, they make such a big bulk of games. I was wondering on the back loggery, do you count a complimation as one game or do you make entries for each game of the complimation? I was wondering what you do for them.

At first when I joined, there was nothing you could do about adding the rest of the games in a compilation. But one of many updates they've made to the site is the ability to add a compilation and add each game for them. There are fields of texts for both of them. My Ps2 collection on there shows a couple of compilations and the games on them. I also use that Compilation option for games you can unlock within a game. Like in my PSP collection, I put in Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles and I put both unlockable games on there. if there are any other questions, let me know.
