Jaden, however, wouldn't hear of it. Catching up with Nathaniel, he wrapped his arms around him in an impulsive hug, grinning for a brief moment before he let go again. Now that the elation was slowly beginning to ebb, he discovered just exactly how tired he was, and that meant that he wanted to get to his bed as fast as physically possible. Glancing about the area, he noticed that everyone else seemed just as weary as he himself was.
Yawning faintly, he stumbled towards the exit. Perhaps tomorrow, he'd scrutinize all that had gone on here...and how on earth he'd managed to find the courage to follow Nat into the blaze.

Nash had pushed off the wall shortly after Wei had left. He didn't feel like talking, there wasn't much to discuss at this point. It was all over. As he stepped out into the cool morning air he looked back at the scorched building. There was a lot of damage but at the very least no one was hurt. He sighed in relief and exhaustion.
Better to get back to bed, his lungs hurt from all the smoke and he was tired from all the worrying. He didn't know anyone well enough to be majorly concerned for their safety so didn't bother sticking around. There would be an update on the overall effects of this event; of that he was certain. For now... sleep.
He hurriedly dragged himself back to the dorms where his room awaited him. A quiet, lonely room greeted him as he slipped under the covers and fell fast asleep.

I'm not even going to write about what happened. I...won't be able to ever forget it anyway, I don't think.
The sun was rising, but Dante couldn't look. The colors were too close, too dangerous at the moment--a reminder of what transpired just a few hours before.
I can only say these few things. First; there is something very special about More. I could feel it when he punched in that gate; he was - is - no ordinary boy.
The second is that that was no ordinary fire. It...felt...malevolent. Like it was deliberately trying to kill Miss Lina and her unborn child. We shall have to keep a closer eye on her in the future.
Finally he lifted his head, thinking for a moment, then put pencil back to paper.
And the last thing I will say is that I am proud of our boys. They rose to a challenge and they defied the odds to help the women. Scyeth sticks out in my mind...he changed a little, I think. Perhaps giving him that trust was the right thing to do - because if I cannot trust him, then how can the world?
And how could I trust myself, after seeing who I used to be in that boy's actions?
Maybe now we can both move forward. He will have to, perhaps, find a way to balance his vivacious personality and who he must become to save the world - but that is something he must find out on his own.
As I must find out on my own how to deal with my own weaknesses, both physical and mental. As Professor Greg says, though...the first step to solving a problem is admitting there is one in the first place.
Content with what he'd written, Dante lay down his pen and closed the book. And as Gilnuir fluttered onto his shoulder, Dante finally went to the window in his study to watch the sunrise.

Scyeth watched everything unfold with minor interest. Oh sure, he wanted to know Alex and whoever that was were safe, but he was tired, and he was not feeling so hot. He supposed this was probably what RuiZhi was waiting for, and thus, what he was waiting for (...since when was he so whipped?) and should stay quiet and suffer through, but still.
It took him a moment to realized the Chinese student had spoken. The blond blinked and ran a hand through his hair. He nodded slowly. "Ye-ah," he said, nodding again. "C'mon guys." Whoever didn't want to follow, well, Scyeth had no patience left. Let's not let it come to that. For now, all he wanted was a good nap. A really good, long nap. Hibernation, even.
...he was going to need a new pair of PJs.

Al gave a nod of the head to the other boy, as well as a smile as he patted the wet shoulder once again "Perfectly fine, I can't say the same for a few others though. I wonder if they are alright?" he wasn't really that concerned himself, since they were strangers to him but nevertheless someone dying isn't necessarily something you should disregard. "I'm Al by the way, though I don't think this is the proper place for introductions, eh?" he chuckled a little, ironic, given the current situation.
He moved away from the boy, giving him a questioning look on if he wanted to come with him as well, though at this moment the young man just wanted to get to bed.
The brunette finally found his way out of the building, seeing the doctor and More carry the women to safety. Hurrah. They're alive. Now to take a shower and get to sleep at last.
He made a mental note to buy a lot of coffee for tomorrow.

Elijah's eyes flitted over the scenery before turning back to Al ever so often. They focused upon him as he was spoken to and as he calmed his emotions down, quaking the urge to run and find every person he knew from school in order to see if they were alright as well, he felt the pat on his shoulder once again. This time it guaranteed his attention fully on the brunette beside him. "They'll be in good hands," he commented, thinking of the others and the injured that were being carried from the building. This was said before he caught the name, and though he agreed this was an awkward place for an introduction, at least it was a start. "Oh, nice to meet you, Al. I'm Elijah," he gave him his name with a tired smile, glad to hear a chuckle from the other youth.
With the gesture, he followed his fellow student out of the building, eager as well to return to his dorm and get some dry clothes on and maybe even take a quick shower before heading to bed. It didn't seem likely that he would be getting any sleep this night, after all, he wasn't the type to be able to sleep during a crisis no matter how tired his body was. But then again exhaustion had a funny way of knocking someone out when it seemed sleep was unattainable.
His eyes stared at the various people outside of the building, counting those he knew and was thankful to see the women in safety as well as the other students returning to their quarters or following after the adults. It was a relief to say the least that this event was evening out for the time being, giving everyone a time to rest before a further adventure was to start. No doubt great and terrible things were to be set in the future for those who witnessed the destruction of an important portion of the school, and perhaps something even more important and beyond their knowledge.
