Celebor chuckled softly, unsurprised by his mate's return - he did after all have the sharp hearing of his race.
"Well then," he grinned mischievously and looked over at Niyana, "we're ju-"
He stopped, seeing that she was wearing nothing but her sandals, and cleared his throat before continuing, "we're just going to have to sleep very ... very close together, now, aren't we?"
Oh, yes.
Despite the fact that they had just woken up from a very length nap, he was beginning to feel the wear of the past few days catching up with his body, and though he knew that if he and Niyana slept together, they would both be naked ... well, he knew that sleeping was all that they would do.
"But you promised me I could rebraid your hair first," he smiled warmly, hiding his thoughts, "and then dinner, correct? I don't know what you've made for us, but is smalls wonderful."

Niyana laughed and nods, "OH yes...I am sorry I almost forgot...okay well um sure you can do my hair...shall I comb it out first?" She flipped off her sandals and looked around, "Well I guess you can sit on the table." She moved to sit on the floor and looked up at him.
Laughing she nods, "You know I think that we can sleep together and be good. If you like we can use some pillows in the work room and sleep with our kids." She looked up at him proud with her idea. "And it will keep us close and also near them just incase." she laughed again and smiled. "Hmm...maybe we should do dinner first?"

Celebor smiled and moved to the bed to pick up the brush she had used on him earlier, then headed over to sit on the table behind Niyana.
He chuckled softly. "You know, I hadn't even thought of sleeping with the kids," he admitted. "My first idea was to sleep out in the grove of trees ... but you're right, it would be a lot nicer to sleep with the kids instead ... first night as a real family, after all."
He leaned over and kissed her cheek. "We'll have dinner as soon as I'm finished with your braid, all right?" he murmured; and then he sat up straight and began to pull the brush gently through her hair.

Niyana nodded, "Oh the trees do sound nice...and it is a wonderful night but yes we should be a true family for at least one night." she laughed and shut her eyes as he started to work her long hair. "Maybe we should sit at the same level so you can get the ends? And my lord I don't need anything to fancy...a simple braid will do just fine." she laughed and wondered what the kids would say if they were out and saw his father doing their mother's hair. She laughed at the idea.
As he worked the brush threw her hair Niyana could feel her body fully letting her know how tired she had made it. The long nap really was not enough time for it to recover from the weeks of none sleep, physical and emotional demands she had put on herself, and she was sure Celebor. She knew it would be safe for them to sleep tonight.

Celebor smiled as he worked the brush through her hair. "Then it's settled," he said warmly. "We will sleep with the children tonight."
Instead of answering her question about how they should sit, he simply slid off the table and sat behind her. Yes, it would be a good idea ... after all, he was taller than her in the first place, so he really didn't need to sit much higher up ... and it would make it easier to reach the bottom of her very long, very beautiful hair.
Once the knots were out, he pulled her hair into three separate strands and began to braid it, his fingers working expertly and efficiently. After a few years of doing the six-stranded braids behind his head without looking, a braid like this was easy for him, and he was finished quite quickly.
"There," he said finally, leaning forward and putting his arms around Niyana, putting his head on her shoulder. "Finished."

Niyana nods and smiles as she feels him slide behind her. She loved having him close to her. And she felt herself drifting off to sleep as his fingers worked. He was so gentle and skill in it. Maybe she should have he always do her hair.
She woke as his arms slipped around her and his head moved to her shoulder. She slide her hands along his and turned to kiss his cheek. "Are you always so quick?" She laughed softly.
She leaned back to rest her head on his strong shoulder. "It smells like dinner is almost done...I really should go and get it...before the meat chars."

Celebor chuckled at Niyana's question, leaning his head against hers.
"Only with a three-stranded braid," he grinned at her. "When I do my own it takes considerably longer. It's just easier doing it for someone else ... though I have to say, this was the first time I've ever braided anyone else's hair, so I guess that was just a new discovery."
He laughed again.
At her comment about dinner, he smiled and nodded slowly. "It does smell wonderful," he murmured, sitting up again. His fingers gave her shoulders a tiny massage before he stood up entirely. "Yes, we don't want to overcook it, right?"
He smiled and held his hand out to help her to her feet.

Niyana smiled warmly at him. "Well maybe next time I will let you do a six strand braid." she took his hand and stood smiling, "I do hope our poor children don't come out on us when we are like this." She laughed and looked down at his nearly unclothed body.
"Well I will get it ready....and we really need to make a vase or jar to carry water. Oh and some plates." she laughed again and moved to the fireplace. Pulling the steak out she laid it on the table and cut it into long strips before adding it to the two piles of the veggies. "Alright....its almost done." she poured a small bag of water into a pile of herbs and mixing it sprinkled it over the food. "And now.... my lord, dinner is ready."
She knelt down at the table again and smiled at him.

Celebor chuckled. "That would be quite awkward," he admitted, "but Mom should be here in a few days with more clothes, and then we'll have something more to wear while we wash our other clothes and we won't have to worry about it anymore. So hopefully the kids can hold off for a few more days."
After all, Niyana's body was something he wasn't going to share with anyone - he didn't know what he would do to anyone else who saw her the way she was now, but it wouldn't be pleasant.
He followed her over to the table and sat next to her, so close that his leg was brushing against hers. "It smells absolutely wonderful," he breathed, closing his eyes to take in the aroma more fully. Then he leaned over and kissed Niyana on the mouth, a slow, full kiss that showed his adoration for her. After a few moments, he broke it, then smiled warmly at her.
"And I'm sure it will taste just as good as it smells," he murmured before turning to his food and taking a bite.

Niyana laughed warmly, "Well at least you will have more clothes I will still just have the two outfits." she smiled up at him resting her head on her bent arm.
If only Celebor knew how much she felt the same way about him. His body was for her eyes only now, despite who else might have seen it in the past.
Her tired body shuddered at the warm feel of his leg against hers and the feeling of him being so close. When his lips claimed hers she kissed back with just as much adoration and love that he showed her. Smiling she let him break the kiss and she just rubbed her thumb over his cheek.
"You always says that my lord but I know sooner or later your going to drop ill from my cooking...and you won't let me cook just like you wont let me do your hair."
She laughed and shifted so her leg would press down on his a bit as she handed him one of their fine leaf plates full of the salad.

Celebor chuckled and put one arm around her shoulders, pulling her close to him once more.
"Oh, you're not going to get out of braiding my hair that easily," he teased her. "You're going to try again every day until you learn to get it right." He laughed again and kissed her temple, then released her and took a bite of the salad. When she pressed down on his leg, he chuckled and nudged her back. Yes, he was flirting again - not that he would have known it as such.

Niyana laughed loudly and rested her head against his chest when he held her. She so wanted to jump into his lab and hold him close at his words. "Is that a promise my lord? And what will be my punishment when I mess up?"
She smiled as he pushed her leg back and smirking shifted to face him stretching her legs over his and taking a bite of her salad. He was really too much fun.

"Punishment?" Celebor repeated, acting as if he were surprised, but in reality he was having more fun than he was showing. "Well ... that's something to think about."
He danced his fingers across her knees, then up towards where her legs met the rest of her body.
"I think," he said in mock seriousness, "I may have to send you to your bed for the day." But his eyes were twinkling. "After all, a useless bodyguard must be taught how to properly guard the body."
He slid his fingers back down his leg, then reached for another bite of his salad, though he kept his eyes on his mate.

Niyana looked at him her eyes starting to get the slight wild look in them at his touch. She took on the look of a body guard talking to their master. She placed her hand high on his thigh and bowed her head, "Yes my lord...I will not let you down, I will show that I am a great body guard." As she bowed her head moved closer toward his slightly covered lap.
She looked up at him from her bent position then sat back, straightening up she moved to eat her salad some more.

Celebor laughed, his eyes sparkling as he watched Niyana, but when she moved to continue her meal he had to admit that he was a little disappointed. Still, he knew his body needed more rest before he would be up for anything more, so he did nothing but turned his attention back to his own meal.
Once his salad was gone, he smiled and turned back to Niyana. "That was delicious," he told her honestly, smiling warmly at her. "And I do believe that you said something about some meat?"
He tilted his head at her, looking at her expectantly, yet teasingly, and let his fingers dance over her knees again.
